Response to Emails

Thanks for all the emails. Here we go…..... Our on line store – It will be open this week I am told so you will be able to order our sauces, our caps, t shirts, etc. very soon. If you order anything you don’t like you need to let me know. This is a fan friendly site and we will be honest and fair with every customer. That’s my promise. Stone Cold is in Southern California and just returned from Australia where he made a movie for WWE Films. Steve called me this week and he is reading other scripts and getting ready to start his second movie soon. I know he is working out every day but has no plans to return to the ring to wrestle at this time. He said he hasn’t felt this good in years. I wouldn’t get back in the ring if I were Steve with his neck issues and movie career ahead of him. Steve is actually coming here to Norman soon to attend an OU football with yours truly and the Mrs. TNA on Mondays?? I say, just bring it. (Thanks, Rock) It really doesn’t matter what I think but competition is good for everyone. If it were to be TNA on Monday Night so be it but I don’t think the folks at TNA or their network are crazy so I doubt that you will see TNA vs. Monday Night Raw any time soon. Kurt Angle- Like many of you I worry about Kurt too because I care for him. He is a friend. Regarding Kurt’s release, I do not know the details except that I think that the release was mutual, as I understand it, and effective immediately upon everyone signing it. That is not official but it is how I understand it. King pile drive Michael Cole at Homecoming- Not gonna happen. Why are so many people angry at Michael Cole? He’s a good guy. I do like the idea of a 4 Horseman reunion at Homecoming there in South Carolina. Outside Interference- There is too much of this in the business in general but it has been around forever, unfortunately. I’m not a big fan of it either. Samoa Joe- I like his physicality. He may not have a body builder’s physique but he certainly seems to be physical. I said the same thing about Cactus Jack many moons ago and he seems to have done o.k. for himself. With my old body, I am not casting stones at Samoa Joe or Cactus for the record. I am sure I have forgotten many matches where a competitor had one arm tied behind their back. I was only referring to those I could remember off the top of my head. When you have called thousands of matches over 30 years a few of them fall through the cracks, sometimes purposely. I don’t think I saw Jericho versus Nick Patrick but I remember it happening once it was mentioned. Bob Holly-Yes, Hardcore Holly is a legit, tough S.O.B. I, too, hope he is better soon and gets back to doing what he loves. Hardcore’s match with RVD this week on ECW was a physical train wreck. Kelly Gregg- The Baltimore Raven Defensive Tackle might make a great WWE superstar. Kelly is a friend of Charlie Haas and is from Edmond, Oklahoma and played football for the Sooners. Kelly was also a 3 time state wrestling champion. Johnny Nitro may not be the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time yet but I do see excellent potential in this young man. He is very athletic and can do some things in the ring he has not utilized on TV as of yet. Let’s give him some time before he is thrown out with the dish water. Bryan Danielson- He is an excellent in ring talent. There is no doubt that this athlete is all that his fan base think he is. I like Bryan’s passion and his work ethic a great deal. He doesn’t have the size many covet but Danielson is a player. To King (not Lawler but a poser)- Obviously you aren’t using your real name and I can see why. You are classless. Call me what you wish, Mr. BBQ works for me, but leave the profanity off our site. This is a family site. You are exactly the type of person that gives the sports entertainment business a bad name. Thanks. I appreciate all the emails but I respectfully ask that you keep them clean. Say what you want but do not do it in a profane way. I don’t think that is asking too much. Keep the emails coming and I will answer more as time permits. J.R.

Hey good ol JR, First of all let me tell you that I feel you are the best wresting anouncer in the history of the sport...close second would be Gordon sole. What sets the two of you apart from all the rest would be the life time of excellence and professionalism/dedication. Much respect to you sir. If I could please comment on the creative side of what direction the WWE is going these days...I feel that the whole vince gone crazy, getting blown up, illegitimate child routine is running quite thin on your long time fans. I truely feel that in your face WWE Attitude is the way to go and that the company is drifting some what from that...The WWE fan wants a show that has a sence of realism that they can relate to, They want the wrestlers to say things that they always wanted to say to their boss and to do what they always wanted wanted to do to a smart ass trash talker. AKA Stone Cold Attitude!! I love what vince does for the show but I feel he must start being more like himself and less like the MR McMahon charactor. this would allow the wresters to get over on what ever storyline that they are working on in a more believable way. The viewer/fan must feel connected or his/her attention will be lost...Hopefully not for good. I am a lifetime fan and my earliest days and I remember vivdly chief Jay Strongbow and Sonny King defeating Baron Mikel Scicluna & King Curtis Iaukea to win the tag team championship in 1971, I remember Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko besting the lumberjacks for the belt in 1977,78. I remember seeing Hulk hogan for the first time and thinking to myself "he is the largest musular man Ive ever seen" of course back then I think he had a little more padding in his boots so he could look andre in the eye, even so I was amazed at his presence. there was a time in 94/95 when I thought the WWF was done. WCW monday nitro was at the time the best thing in wresting...A live weekly televised event really got my attention. it also got the then WWFs attention. the mid to late nineties was the wwe at its best because it was fighting for ratings. those are the days that I feel the WWE should aim for once again.

This is with regards made to this thread here by Todd: http://www.jrsbarbq.com/blog/2006/09/27/response-to-emails-2/#comment-97... In most cases, the WWF/WWE was responsible for many promotions going out of business. But as stated by Vince, and many others, they had the opportunity, like he did, to go from a regional territory, and expand their product beyond their home base. Some tried to do this, but they didn't update their product for the current era. That's what killed them. The AWA was a prime example. WCCW was probably an innovator, and WWF/WWE borrowed some ideas from it. WCCW had been doing international TV broadcasts, like Stampede Wrestling, before the WWF was doing it. WCCW employed the rock and wrestling before WCCW. WCW was horribly mismanaged. Their problem was having to answer to TimeWarner, and people who didn't have a clue about how the pro wrestling business works. Eric Bischoff's book Controversy Creates Cash explains this. ECW's problem was they were fresh and innovative in many ways, but lacked the financial resources to compete with WCW and/or the WWE. WCW killed WCW, or more appropriately, AOL-TimeWarner. Prior to ECW's and WCW's demise, it wasn't that much earlier when WWE was on the verge of bankruptcy. Vince himself admitted so much on the Monday Night Wars DVD. If WWE can rise from a regional promotion, and make some organization as the National Wrestling Alliance, which was the most powerful wrestling syndicate in the world, virtually meaningless, TNA has the chance to become a major player at some point. NWA lost the WWWF/WWE, AWA, WCCW, WCW and ECW, to name just a few promotions who were part of that group, because of the rigidity of the NWA's rules and business practices. No wrestling organization, WWE included, is invincible. If the WWE doesn't keep up with the times, they could suffer the fate ECW and WCW suffered at some point too. It looks like it won't happen anytime soon though. TNA is a viable alternative to the WWE, but it is nowhere near challenging the WWE for supremacy in USA and Canada just yet. It has grown a lot in 5 years though. Other promotions like Ring of Honor and Full Impact Pro are nice regional promotions, but they are way behind TNA in terms of media coverage right now.

JR, How good is Shawn Michaels? I mean seriously, he can wrestle any style. He can cut a promo like a madman and exerts so much energy in everything he does! His opening segment on RAW this past week had fire, it had passion, it was aggressive and it gave me the chills! I am down on my knees praying that winning the Royal Rumble for the third time, in front of his hometown fans is his destiny because "the Heartbreak Kid" and the prospect of him main-eventing Wrestlemania in his current state of mind would be phenomenal! I haven’t been so excited about a Royal Rumble in years! Regards, Peter Collins, Australia

JR. I'M A 38 YEAR OLD WOMAN WITH A HUSBAND AND 2 KIDS. I GET LAUGHED AT FOR WATCHING WRESTLING, WHICH I'VE DONE SINCE I WAS A KID. I ENJOY IT--SO THERE!! I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT I'VE BEEN TO A FEW WRESTLING EVENTS OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS, BUT THE BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE TO ME IS AT HOME. LISTENING TO YOU AND KING WITH THE COLOR COMMENTATING JUST MAKES THE SHOW THAT MUCH BETTER. TO HERE TO YOU!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. RAW WAS NOT THE SAME WITHOUT YOU. ONE FAVOR THOUGH......TELL STONE COLD I SAID HELLO!!!

Hey JR,Hey, I'm a HUGE fan of the WWE and yours also.LOVE your website!!! I REALLY like how clean it is and how you STRONGLY restrict the use of profanity cause like you said about "KING" that it's people like himself that give pro wrestling a bad rap.Just to let ya know exactly how BIG of a fan i am of yours i've followed you career from AWA, MidSouth, UWF(MAN what an AWESOME promtion) WCW & ofcourse presently with the WWE.I have a question though with all the different promtions you've worked in/for which one stands out as being your favorite.Like for instance camaraderie among all the talent and the way the promotion was run. Also Mr.Ross i was wondering if it would be @ all possible to get an autographed red JR'S Family Bar-B-Q hat.It would be GREATLY appreciated and treasured.God Bless and BOOMER SOONER!!!! Sincerely,Brian Welch,North Little Rock,ARKANSAS(I'm sort of an OU fan since i have realatives that live in Normon)

Yea thanks for not ducking the Danielson question. Even though he isnt as big as you guys in the WWE would like, you guys just had Rey Mysterio as a champ. Danielson could get over as a legit small tough guy like a Tazz or Benoit.

Jim Ross- I have always enjoyed your commentary. Regarding the Lights Going out in Georgia, one night I was at Turner Field in Atlanta when the lights literally went out all around the stadium. They played Vickie Lawrence's song, and the whole crowd knew the lyrics and sang along. Question: Do you sense that Atlanta has lost a great deal of its Southern identity for the worst? It seems like an entirely different town after the Olympics. Also would you mind giving us comments on what it was like to work for Ted Turner? Best Wishes.

Hey, J.R. I'm a fan of OVW, and I was just wondering who you like in particular down there. I was pretty excited when I saw Aaron Stevens debut the other night, but I'm a little disapointed that Seth Skyfire hasn't gotten the call up yet. He's very small for sure, but his size helps him get over in the same way it helped Mysterio get over, a little bit. Thanks, Harry,

What would it take to get CM Punk to start using his old Miseria Cantare entrance music? It was an incredible entrance and really built the anticipation of the crowd to an unparalled fever pitch. Perhaps we should start a fundraiser to buy the rights to the song if its about the money. Is that usually what it boils down to?

hi jr!i love reading your blogs and i have a question!i know you said that stone cold has "no plans" to return to the ring but do you think that an austin vs hogan wrestlemania 23 match is possible?thank you so much, take care!

Mr. Ross, God Bless you sir. Thanks for having a clean website (devoid of profanity and other nasty stuff.) I am not sure if you have covered this topic or not, but is your bbq sause gonna be availible on my local grocery store shelves? Take care and God Bless you sir.

Hey JR Just wondering if there are any wrestlers that have been in the WWE that you feel could have been bigger stars if the WWE had handled them well? Wrestlers like Raven, Eugene, Nova, Benjamine, Rhyno or Tajiri that have all proven that they can be increadable in the ring and yet all seem to come off as just another wrestler in the WWE. Rhyno being a prime example, he's been on fire ever since the WWE fired him, it's like seeing the rhyno of ECW back again, only this time he can cut a promo. So I was thinking JR, are there any wrestler that you thought could have been huge if they had just recieved the right kind of push, or wrestlers that were made to be jobbers when they had the skill to be main eventers?

Hi, Great read, how's it feel when there is a wicked match going on yet WWE fans at ringside don't get it and are either silent or chant boring eg Regal vs Finlay recently(great match) yet in other promotions they'd be going off. Also how do you feel about Paul London and Brian Kendrick (massive fan here)are we ever gonna get tshirt? Lastly what are your thoughts on Rugby Union and Rugby League. Cheers

Psychology is often a big debate on the internet as to what it is and who applys it well. Guys like Lance Storm who are tremendous workers who are so clean and crisp often get the nod as guys who understand psychology which I do agree with. But I once remember an interview with Fit Finlay were he didn't use the terms spots rather reactions with the lesson being if it doesn't draw a reaction it was unecessary. I tend to agree with that statement I think the emphasis should be on drawing fans into the match and garnering a reaction which is something despite all the negative smark heat he gets John Cena does I feel wrestling is about emotion and storytelling and Cena brings these things out in people. Would you agree?

Hello Jim. I will make it short, because I'm sure reading this isn't the most entertaining thing to do. I was wondering just what kind of person Randy Orton is behind the scenes. Media reports make him into a modern day Scott Hall, and I was wondering your take on him. I feel he has all the talent in the world, but doesn't make the most of it at times. Thanks for answering everyone's questions JR. -Joshua

Hi Mr. Ross, I'm just wondering how into Japanese wrestling you are? You must have liked the AJPW 1990s stuff with Gordy, Williams, Hansen, etc. How much of it did you follow back then and how much do you follow today? Do you have any Japanese favourites? BTW, I was just re-watching your broadcast debut for Mid South Wrestling, it was right around the time when they were doing the Bob Roop/Paul Orndorff angle where Roop takes Orndorff's North American Title shot against DiBiase and actually wins the belt. That was a great storyline. Thanks for answering our questions, Take care,

Hey JR, nice to read about some of your comments, particularly about Bryan Danielson. Sorry if I sound like the other 50 people who said this, but Danielson is an amazing wrestler and I believe he is the best in the world right now. Anyway, my question to you is in regards to the wwe.com interview that Eric Bischoff did with JBL. In the interview that I'm sure you have seen, he comments on you "not having a feel for the business" in some areas. How do you respond to this and what is your view on Eric?

I think it's great that you have this blog outside of WWE. But it seems that all you're getting are wrestling questions. So for a break: Who will win the Big XII North? I'm from Kansas, and I hope KU at least gets to the North title game. Thanks Mr. Ross!

thank you J.R. you truely are the voice of wrestling.I am excited about your website the pics and blogs are great. Thank you MR.Ross for a great site I can let my son enjoy as much as I.

Why is John Cena the heavyweight champion while there are wrestlers such as Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, and Randy Orton who are much better than he is and are left on the backburner? I personally believe that Cena is a terrible wrestler, and should be sent back to developmental to work on his skills a little more. Besides young girls and small children other fans truly dislike him. Why doesn't the wwe ever try make big names out of smaller wrestlers such as kid kash, paul london, gregory helms? why cant they be champion?, after all aj styles was the nwa champion and he is ten times better than guys like cena, edge, and batista.

JR, do you prefer wrestling talent over charisma in wrestling? Take Shelton for instance, he is an awesome wrestler... horrible talker. And then Cena... horrible wrestler, awesome talker. Do you like to see the sports entertainment aspect in wrestling rather than WRESTLING?

Like the site, like your views, keep it going!! Anyway, her's my questions: 1) Will WWe ever work with any Japan-based groups, a la in a relation your company has with Ohio Valley, Deep South, etc.?? I would love to see WWE restart a relationship with New Japan, or perhaps work with All-Japan...heck, I settle for that "Hustle" group I heard about over the 'Net. 2) What are your thoughts about the negative media attention that has been building towards "Cryme Tyme" (e.g., groups in Philly and the East Coast are starting petitions to get that team on the air)? I'm Black and I am also a Wrestling fan for years (your commentary with UWF was the reason why I got hooked to this stuff in the first place). I recognize and know the difference with encountering things that are entertaining and things that are morally repulsive, especially dealing Racism, but I love to hear/read your thoughts. 3) How does one "write" or "Book" a wrestling show for TV, such as Raw, or Pay Per View?? -Does Vince and the Creative Staff write a script for said shows? Is it an outline? Or do you guys improvise like SNL?? Anyway, your comments are welcome....PEACE!!

Good to hear I'll finally be able to buy some of your sauce this week. Hopefully by this time next week I'll be telling you how good it was.

Hey JR. Big Giant fan of yours and have been for some time now. I got to meet you in 2003 in NJ when you had the book out. So my question is this. I have been following CM Punk all the way through ROH, through OVW, and now as he goes through the jobbers in ECW. He quickly became a favorite of mine because he had so many similar qualities of another fav of mine, Triple H. I have told Punk himself that I would love to see Triple H vs. CM Punk in a WWE ring. Do you see the similarities and do you think the match can happen down the line? Its my ultimate dream match. Thank you for taking the time to answer. Please continue being the best at what you do, sir.

Jeff Hardy went to TNA and was welcomed back by the WWE, can the same be said for Kurt in the future? I'm a big fan of yours and anytime you have a free Saturday morning, I would be honored to have you on as a guest. Thanks, Rich "Cashman" Jones The Pain Clinic

JR...great site. Glad to see someone of your stature take on such an open forum. I was disappointed to hear that Greg Gagne had been dropped as the head of OVW. I can see where he might be seen as a bit behind the times, but as a fan of the old AWA going way back, I was hoping he'd bring some of that "athleticism over show" mentality to OVW because it seems like WWE could use a bit of that sometimes. What are your thoughts...who should be heading up the training program in OVW, and what kind of characteristics should WWE be looking for in someone to run that system? Thanks for the time.

Dear JR, I would just like to say that I'm very pleased (and somewhat surprised) with the way CM Punk has been used since his ECW debut. He has been kept true to his original persona & ring style that earned him his sizeable fan base. As far as characters, personas & gimmicks are concerned, I believe a good wrestler will be able to run with whatever ball he is given. Its just refreshing to see WWE allow CM Punk run with a ball he has proven he can carry, on the big stage.

Hey JR! We all know that out of the two, Ultimate Warrior and Sting, that Sting became a legend. If Sting was in the WWE, who would you want to see him wrestling in the ring? Like what would be the Sting dream match in the WWE?

I believe what Kurt means is that he was held back in his ring work. Seeing that WWE doesn't allow the "Sports Entertainers" to do certain moves. TNA on the otherhand lets the WRESTLERS do any move they want. You think you will see a flipping piledriver in WWE, you better think again. And as for the new ECW, I don't even know were to start with that. Pathetic is the first thing that comes to mind. Extreme Rules matches is stupid. Thats what made ECW what it was. Piledriving off the apron through a table, chair shots, barbed wire, and it was about true wrestling the kind you can still see in TNA. And for the person that said TNA has no heritage, how about 100 years of the NWA heritage. The name of the company is NWA:TNA so get your facts straight before saying something. Long live TNA, and thanks Kurt for coming to where the "REAL WRESTLING" is!

I personally feel that Kurt Angle going to the "other side of the fence" and now saying that the WWE held him back is completly upserd. The WWE went ahead and made him a bigtime player once he walked threw the door and at a time when people who were there for 5 to 10 years before him were still getting the "shaft" he went right to the main event. And stayed around the main event spot no matter what brand he worked for. I would also like to say as someone who is trying to get into the wrestling commentating field Micheal Cole is a great commentator I mean he would have to be to be the head guy on Smack Down but he really needs to stop being the cheer leader and focus on what is actully going on in the NOW. He can't alway jump out of his seat like a school girl with a crush when guys he likes comes out or gets "screwed" it just makes him look like a big hipocrite when they do things similar to the things the "heel" does.

Hi J.R I have just started to read your blog and I must say that I am glad you have it, I miss the Ross report from wwe.com. I was wondering if you had any thoughts on whether wwe will host Raw or Smackdown in Scotland in the future. When you come to the UK I have a devil of a time getting tickets for the house shows in Scotland, I think this shows that there is a huge fan base and that if wwe were to host Raw or Smackdown from Scotland it would be a great show. Keep up the great work on Raw, your partnership with The King is the best there is.

JR thank you for all the great years of announcing you have provided us and will continue to insight us with. As Gorilla Monsoon use to say...they broke the mold when God created you. You are truely one of a kind!

JR - I love your blog. I watched WWE for 16 years, but stopped this year. The number one thing that bothers me is the invisible backstage camera. It makes it impossible to "suspend my disbelief". I also miss intelligent long term storylines, less scripted promos, and quality matches. To be honest, if it wasn't for ROH, WWE would be responsible for both igniting and extinguishing my passion for wrestling. JR, I respect your talent and passion for the business. Thanks!

I don't think TNA wants to compete with WWE. They are really different concepts. Yes they will throw in soap opera to try to win over WWE fans but they really just want the wrestling to tell the story...I remember when WWE wanted to do that....before the Ultimate Warrior showed up. But here is a question for you J.R., why didn't WWE sign Samoa Joe when they had the chance? I mean Steamboat put him over for you! What's the point of a talent agent if aren't going to take his advice? Anyway, I hope TNA and WWE never compete because I like them both. I get my fun, games and stars from WWE, and my wrestling from TNA, and I end up with 4 days of professional wrestling. Why doesn't that sound good to anyone else?

I would beg to differ with opinions stated about Michael Cole. I think he does a tremendous job as an announcer (cheering for Miz and Vito... come on, he's doing his JOB! He's not the president of their fan club) as well as for WWE.com. I particularly liked the report prior to the Punjabi prison match and how Cole's obvious journalistic skills came into play. I think he can make one hell of a difference on WWE.com, him being somebody who is actually working for TV and having that perspective, as well as having a great knowledge of all things journalism. I'm pretty eager to see more developments on WWE.com. And come on, anybody who eats his Count Chocula with his kids, in his PJ's, watching Scooby Doo HAS to be a good guy :) I actually had the pleasure of meeting him prior to WrestleMania 21, at the Holiday Inn near Staples Center. Cordial, nice guy, but obviously tired. I don't hold it against him though, you guys have a tough life. But I digress. Kurt Angle in TNA... That was too bad. I understand it from a workload point of view, but I just don't understand where he comes off saying "the other company (WWE) held him back" when early in the year he had a World title run and main-evented WrestleMania... Disgruntled or confused? I don't know, but I didn't particularly liked reading that... Keep up the great work, JR, both on/off-screen and on this blog! And nevermind the nay-sayers, there will always be a handful of people with too much time on their hands to equal how frustrated they are in life. By the way, Ford Field will be off the hook! I got my WrestleMania Gold Package!

JR, great site, and good to keep seeing you every week on WWE RAW. I've been a fan for over 25 years now, and despite my young age (only 32!), I think the product has always adjusted to the time it's in, and come out on top eventually. All the best!

I like your comments Mr. JR! One thing i am curious is what is your true opinion on Smackdown, and why everytime they make a legit player of the game, they take him to RAW? Sure, Smackdown has Rey, Batista, Kennedy. Smackdown could go well if they get some RAW stars that are held back. I.E Shelton Benjamin... What are your true opinions, i would love to know (not being a smart butt)

Hey JR, like your blog, when the wwe travels to the UK this november, will you be doing any promotional work in Scotland ?

JR: Site looks great! I wish I could order the food, but I'm in NY! Love you and the King. Best team since Monsoon/Heenan. What do you think of Joey Styles? I heard Vince McMahon didn't like his skill very much, but I always thought he was great, especially with that "OH MY GOD"! Best luck on the site, and STOP MAKING ME HUNGRY!

Hey, JR! I hate to be somewhat redundant with some of the feedback, but I've got another ROH related question for ya. Since the state of 'mainstream' tag team wrestling is beyond pathetic (except for London/Kendrick and they're proud ROH alumni) the one place that seems to be doing tag team wrestling right is Ring of Honor. What are your thoughts on the tag team scene in general and how do you like what ROH is doing with tag team wrestling...especially your thoughts on Aries/Strong and the very talented Briscoe brothers?

Thanks for the replies J.R. It's great to hear about Stone Cold's condition. After the segment you had with the Sandman on this Tuesday's ECW, I grew very nostalgic for the days when Austin would tip a few to the fans after a hard fought match. As much as I would love to see him back just one more time...I feel better knowing he's staying healthy. If you have a moment, could you comment on Randy Savage. I haven't heard much about him recently, but I've heard he doesn't have a great relationship with the WWE. Do you believe that Savage will ever be inducted into the WWE's Hall of Fame? I can't remember the last time I heard the him or the WWE say anything positive about one another...and it seems like such a shame.

Hey JR, I was just wondering, who do you think is the best young prospect in the WWE at the moment? I'm talking about a newer guy that only just made it in the company (6-12 months). Also, what is happening with the Tag Team division lately? Sorry to sound so negative, but the division on RAW seems to be non-existant, and the Smackdown! division looked pretty good... until Kid Kash got released. I'm sure it was warranted, but it really leaves Jamie out in the dry. Anyway, thanks for reading this and I hope I get a reply, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

People have it "in for" Michael Cole because he's getting gradually more annoying as each week passes. Being a personal cheerleader for The Miz & a guy in a dress doesn't help him either.

What do you think about TNA hiring Vince Russo? Do you think he will help TNA get to the next level?

No commentator better, than JR! so the Kurt Angle thing, i honestly dont think its going to last. because...if you sit and think about it, TNA is going to center all of the attention, the NWA championship, and the company around Kurt Angles name. what would the other talent think? and i really would love to see sting wrestle for WWE. wrestling flair again would be awesome to see. well, ill check this site periodically. i think its very awesome. well, peace out yo.

Glad to hear things are going so well for Stone Cold. Although I miss him in the ring, I would not want him to risk further injury to his neck by coming back to wrestling. Maybe do a few promos on people, but actual in ring wrestling would not be worth the risk. I wish him the best in all he does, and thank him for the memories for me. That one promo he did after the Royal Rumble, using the theme from the Beverly Hillbillies is indelible etched in my mind(and I think I still have it on tape). I noticed where someone mentioned Sting in there reply. I think what would be great for WM23 would be a one more time go round for Sting and Natch, Ric Flair, I think that would really be special. Yeah, its happened many times before, but those two can really light it up......

I think Johnny Nitro is an amazing wrestler and could go far in the business if given a chance. I think he has the potential to be World Champ some day, and I hope he gets the chance! Thanks for responding so soon JR!

Once again Sir JR its been a great read. Johnny Nitro is a talent and is my favourite WWE superstar right now. Bryan Danielson is also a tremendous talent, who needs to be in WWE. He could be the new Bob Backlund? TNA needs to push Samoa Joe forward and make him champion real soon. TNA doesnt need head to head competition, they need to stabilise themselves first. Get consistent ratings and let other Wrestlers run with the NWA title. But there matches are great. Kurt Angle note, I also am worried about his health. I am happy that TNA can have someone to promote there product, but I do worry for Angles health too. Sometimes a friends advice is the best advice you can get and hope Angle listens to his friends.

JR, love reading your thoughts on the business cant wait to try some of that sauce. Anxiously looking forward to family reunion, and hopefully the good times keep going. Have you ever seen anything out of IWS in Montreal? Some great talent there with Kevin Steen, El Generico and Franky The Mobster, just curious. Thanks Nic

Greetings form the U.K. Great stuff, its good to hear you are not aloud to say on WWE TV, There has been alot of talk around (true or not) of a possible NWO vs DX angle, what are your feelings on it? By the way thanks for all the great years of commentery, its good to hear someone who knows what they are talking about and enjoy what they do.
