Post Survivor Series Email Feedback

Thanks for all the great feedback. I will answer as many emails as possible this week and will have another group answered this week prior to leaving for Kansas City for the Oklahoma-Nebraska Big 12 Title game which is this Saturday night on ABC-TV. Jessica- Getting items signed by WWE superstars isn’t impossible but it is challenging. The last thing you want to do is send the item to be signed to a generic address in hopes that a wrestler will receive it and sign your item. Obviously, the best way to get something signed is to do it in person which I realize isn’t always possible or feasible. We are working on a method to have items mailed to us that I can sign but we won’t have that ready until early 2007. Jeffery- I agree that the WWE, which is still doing major league business, could be considered to be in a “transition” period as it relates to newer and younger talents getting established. The WWE has some wonderful veterans but the future of any company is built around youth and it is up to the process and the individuals themselves to make that happen. Some talents have “it” and some never will obtain “it”. Plus, “it” could be perceived as subjective as well. Sergio- The WWE’s International growth is amazing and I could easily see in the future the WWE doing a TV shoot or perhaps even a pay per view in Mexico in the future. The fans there are historically outstanding. T. Adams- Interesting Wrestlemania 23 card you proposed. I would love to know the card myself and I am sure it will be as special as it possibly can. Interestingly enough over $4M dollars worth of tickets have been sold w/o a card! If OU can earn a win in K.C. this Saturday night it looks like the Sooners could meet Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl. If so, take it easy on us. But first we have to beat a talented Cornhusker squad. Weber- Thanks for the really kind words. I love working for the WWE and broadcasting RAWs and PPV’s and hope to continue to do so for as long as the company will have me around and as long as I can carry my fair share of the water. P. Restivo- How could I as a man kiss Mr. McMahon’s backside? Sounds as if you are challenging my manhood which doesn’t feel too good. Bottom line, I am a team player and do what is called upon to enhance the product as instructed. It’s called having a job and doing as one is instructed to do. Obviously, it isn’t for everyone but I try and handle it as best as possible and it hasn’t killed me yet. Jon- I don’t see JBL ever moving to RAW to work with yours truly as we would be REALLY southern sounding which most TV execs don’t covet. Yes, I understand King is southern as well being from Memphis but J.R. and JBL might be too much but it would never be boring. I like JBL and Michael Cole on Smackdown. John- Chris Jericho is involved in a variety of projects including spending time with his lovely wife and 3 beautiful young children. I just wrote the foreword for Chris’s upcoming book that covers his career from 1990 until he came to the WWE. Chris is ultra talented and will most likely have a match or two in the future but when and where will be up to Chris. I am not sure when the WWE is returning to Winnipeg but you can bet the WWE will return with the help of local promoter Bob Holliday. Carl- I get asked questions all the time about when the WWE will have a pay per view in the UK. I still don’t have the answer but I would bet a bottle of BBQ Sauce it will definitely happen. The UK is a vital marketplace for the WWE and one of our favorite places to travel. Dan- The TNA “War on VKM” doesn’t jump off the page at me but that’s only my opinion. I don’t know what is really achieved at the end of the day. I cannot speak for Mr. McMahon but I would assume he could care less about what “war” may or may not be declared on him. Billy- Who replaces J.R. when the time comes? Beats me. I have no clue but several have tried to no avail thus far. I would like to think I have several years left to contribute to the business so I really haven’t thought about who will be the next “voice of RAW” but my sense of it is that it could be someone totally new, young, and with no Oklahoma drawl. Daniel- Sorry about the Notre Dame lose to Southern Cal but the Trojans are seemingly headed to the January 8 National Title Game with Ohio State in Glendale, Arizona. Coach Weiss has done an amazing job with the Irish and another top recruiting class or two will have the Irish right back in the National Title mix. Kenny- I am happy, really happy, you think our sauces are “awesome”. That, my friend, is awesome to me! James- My relationship with Ed Ferrara is good. There are no issues or latent animosity on either side. Ed is a very intelligent man who was simply doing his job when he impersonated me as “Oklahoma” back in WCW. I did not like it at the time but that is history as far as I am concerned. I have had a couple of conversations with Ed and all is well. I refuse to live my life bringing negative issues forward with me as this stage of my life. I wish I had adopted that philosophy when I was younger. Leo- God Bless you Leo and best of luck recovering from your brain tumor. I will keep you in my prayers. Your dedication to continue to watch RAW while ill is motivational and inspirational to me personally. I hope to see you in Big D in January. Andy…and others- The Rock is knee deep in his movie career and whether Rock ever makes an appearance on WWE TV again is up to The Rock and WWE management. I see it more as a timing issue than anything else. I know for a fact Rock still watches the programming and misses his fans. I would love to see Rock back anytime…anywhere but I am not holding my breath. Darren- Without fail Stone Cold Steve Austin will have a role on WWE programming (hopefully RAW) prior to Wrestlemania and “The Condemned” being released in April of 2007. What that role will be is anyone’s guess but I don’t see it being a wrestler. I could be wrong and I have been many times before. Adam- I think HBK is an amazing man and Hall of Fame level wrestler and it would not surprise me whatsoever to see Shawn Michaels as the WWE Champion prior to HBK hanging up his tights which I hope will not be any time soon. Vince- I broadcast in WCW with Jesse Ventura back in the early 90s. Jesse was/is a brilliant guy who had natural timing and was a classic villain. We did not have the time nor the motivation to develop any significant chemistry but I did enjoy working with “The Body”. If we had been together longer in a more sane environment than WCW I know we could have really clicked. J.R.

hi j.r hows the king. if you want can you do me a faver.tell me this do's hhh or john cena have a my space
The site looks great ! Thanks for all your help ( past, present and future !)
Dear J.R. A DVD about Randy Savage would also sell in Europe ! Even it is a one like the "Selfdestruction of the Ultimate Warrior". So risk your job and bring back Macho Man into the minds of Vince McMahon and all the other, who have some impact relating to businessbusiness. Sorry for my bad english, I am from germany.
Hey J.R. do you know if the most dominant wrestler to be in the WWE (Brock Lesner) will ever come back? and when? thanks J.R. keep up the good work
hey j.r do you see umanga betting cena at new years revolution as umanga is still undefeted after over 5 months in the wwe?
Hey JR, Firstly no BBQ sauce in the UK??? BOOOO to you!!!! lol. Secondly whats with the comment above about TNA being comprised of "half of WCW's ex talent?" Really, that person needs to get their facts right. I have to admit I don't see where the VKM v VKM thing is going, or indeed how TNA hopes to make money off it, however I'm having a giggle at BG and Kip so at least it's entertaining. So yeah, not really a comment aimed at you JR, because you have always been fair and just given your opinion on TNA, however everyone else, STOP ALL THE HATING TOWARDS TNA!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS TRYING IT'S BEST TO SUCCEED IN A MARKET DOMINATED FOR BETTER OR WORSE BY WWE, GIVE THEM A BREAK. I wasn't exactly having a party when they announced they re-hire of Vince Russo, however he hasn't done anything TOO wrong this time round YET (lol) so yeah hate his past work, but give the man a chance to make ammends eh :) Also JR, dude, 2 matches announced for a PPV, thats kinda not particuarly screaming "YOU MUST PAY FOR THIS" which all good PPVs should do, maybe couldve worked on the undercard with people like Kevin Thorn, Balls Mahoney, Mike Knox and FBI? Just an idea :) All I can say is I'm glad December to Dismember is FREE in the UK lol. Anyhoos, Laters JR, and thankyou for reading this! *Craig*
hello again jr you and the king are the best commentators alive i must say but jbl and tazz are quite funny but you two are wwes best bradcast team by far plus jr when are you going to start selling you famous bbq sauce over here in the good old uk. i think wwe should come to more places in the uk like liverpool hint hint. 1 more thing about this vkm situation and there declaring of war on wwe i know tna has no chance money wise because wwe host three main shows a week tna 1 wwes a multi bilione dollar company tnas not yet but i do think tnas talent and matches are much better than wwes but wwe is alsways there and every1 still watches just 2 see the odd good bit mainly dx or the hardys ,cm punk, cena , batista ,undertaker and london and kendik id say thats the onli good watchin in wwe anymore. i wana see sum good stuff soon from ecw and wwe at this point in time there letting us fans down wwe are losing alot of fans to tna purely because of the good matches not the promos new movies or celebs like wwe just good, hard hitting ,high flying and sumtimes extreme matches i am a true wwe fan but this is all true peace out from your good old scouce fan ainzi
HELLO JR im a long time wrestling fan but i must say wwe latley is goin down the toilet with ecw and the cruserweight division and the tag and the womens basicly thats all of it the only good thing latly is the hardys and dx but dx still dosnt look right just the two of them bring back xpac or chyna as for this 'vkm' (the outlaws) they do have a point with that fat oily guy and ecw that just isnt extreme in the slightest raw and smackdown have just as many no dq matches basicly now every match should be harcore or it isnt ecw and 1 more thing about ecw how can u have ecw back without the last ecw champ and tv champ (rhyno)and the best ecw tag team ever (the dudleys)
Just a quick thought, recently WWE have expanded it's tours of the UK because it is still hugely popular. However, every time they visit Cardiff it is always a sell out and is held in the CIA (Cardiff International Arena). Is it possible to hold an event in the Millenium Stadium nstead though as the atmosphere there is just off the record. We have had the FA Cup (soccor) finals held here for what seems a decade, but we really do NEED a WWE event to be held there. I would love to see a big event again in the UK like Summer Slam. Hint Hint. Also I would like to see Umaga Vs Samoa Joe to reaaly who is the real monster.
i hear alot of people talking about hbk and the undertaker getting some title reigns at or before wrestlemania. i just wanted to say that i think it would be awesome, these 2 are arguably two of the best the business has ever seen, especially shawn michaels, i hear it everywhere from websites and magazines saying that he is and has been the mvp of raw since his return in 2002. do you think giving him atleast another shot at the title is fitting? i dont care how old he is or about these young stars, people pay to watch him perform. what do you think? --by the way you are the best period, the wrestling business has ever seen brodcasting, and second would be mcmahon i would say.
HEY JR, I heard a while back that HBK was in need of i beleive it was knee surgery(could be mistaken) is that still true and if it is will DX be broken up and will HHH remain a face. Also do you think HHH will ever beat RIC FLAIRs record of being a 16 time champ? look forward to hearing back from you!!
will there ever be an ecw t.v. or tag team champs again
I agree with your comments about TNA"s "VKM" stuff. I think the major problem is it's a storyline and not an angle, since I don't see any possibility of any sort of payoff.
Hey JR Just wanted to know if you knew when the WWE will/won't be returning to Australia. The fanbase here is like no other (maybe I'm biast) and i would love to see you guys back down under again. I hope all is well with your health and you have recovered from your previous illnessess. I am a longtime fan and I personally can't wait to see Stone Cold back on our screens. with love Julie
Hey JR just wanted to say thanks to you for all your hard word and dedication the business your commentating is what keeps me coming back to Raw week after week.
I don't remember seeing your sauces being sold here in the Philippines, but I badly want to know if it's really worth it to my taste... I'm very much a lover of food in all shapes and sizes, and certainly want to taste that fine sauce that you are selling... as for wrestling, I believe you guys are still doing a good job in making great things possible... although I must say the Tag team division, women's division and the cruiserweight division are in a bit of a struggle... I like the fact that DX and Team Extreme have made their reunions but problem is, outside those teams, we really don't have quality tag teams that we can call mainstays of any brand... Surely, Rated-RKO is a strong force and Edge is a multiple time tag champ, but the fact of the matter still remains, they are not a natural tag team, while Kendrick and London on the Smackdown brand doesn't really have a solid tag team competition, which brings me to the cruiserwieght division... not to pick on Gregory Helms since I think he's a great athlete, but I think the only reason that he is currently the longest reigning singles champ is because of lack of competition... Sure he has an ongoing feud, but I don't think people would want to see Matt Hardy as a Cruiserwieght champ but rather a US champ, or gun for the World title... and the two most viable individuals to challenge for the title are currently holding the tag titles... and I don't see anyone else worthy to fight for the title. Kash is out, Crazy and Stryker are in another brands, Noble currently has a dead character, Wang Yang is too comic to have a title, Funaki is only good for upset wins, Mysterio is lost in the weight classes, Chavo is now a high profile wrestler, and Little Bastard didn't even reach the weight limit! As for the Women's title, with Trish and Amy out of the picture, the only ones worthy to hold the title are Mickie James and Victoria, unless Chyna goes back to WWE and starts picking on every single diva in the locker room or Vito makes a sudden division change, I don't see the women's division growing... and by the way, it's good that WWE is not giving any attention to "VKM". The team, in my opinion, is just a desperate attempt of TNA to make some heat... the gimmick is just plain soar... they are just repeating an angle that DX have made... and even though the two are members of the old DX, it still doesn't make a clear picture because originality has already been erased... and do they really need to use the initials VKM? As in Vincent Kennedy Mcmahon? Anyway, I think I'm already taking too much of your time... Keep up the good work in RAW and I wish you good health... Kudos to you guys by the way because 2006 is a great WWE year here in the Philippines for having both RAW and SMACKDOWN do shows in a single year, and for bringing Batista in here... that personally made me happy since he is a fellow Filipino, and he used to reply to my emails when he was still in the injured list and still in Evolution... Right now, I think it would be impossible for him to do that since he already got a hell of a schedule... Anyway, God Bless!
the "VKM war on VKM" thing was funny the first time they did it as "DX invading WCW" now its just lame because for one, they're not a part of DX anymore, 2 They kno that Vince would never confront them on TNA-recorded video, and 3, if Vince did allow them to compete against the Hardy Boys at December to Dismember, the Hardys would win simply because it's Vince's turf and Vince's rules, defeating the purpose of the "invasion" also, I'd like to unofficially make a pitch to the WWE to bring Wrestlemania 24 to New Orleans, La. The close proximity of the Superdome and Convention Center creates great possibilities for a weekend full of fan events
hey JR do uyou think the wwe will bring a PPV to australia anytime soon the last wwe was in Brisbane and Sydney has enormous stadiums that could easily fit 100 thousand people to it plus we love WWE and wish it comes to sydney some time in the neer future also you truly are the greatest comentator there is hopefully you continue on Raw for many years to come
Jim, I realize you are no longer in the talent game. But, don't you think Missy Hyatt would be a "good hand" to add to the women's division. She's a good teacher, and the rest of the divas would learn to emulate her actions. I think all of the wrestlers would agree.
While I do like TNA for their in-ring product and innovative matches, the whole VKM gimmick is quite retarded. Why, Russo, why? They were over as the James Gang and now this?! And challenging the Hardys? Way to go--now everyone will switch to WWE...great way to build an audience. Build the new stars through talent, not with stupid stunts.
J.R. There is a website creaming you and the WWE whenever they get a chance. www.wrestling-news.com (Which draws over 7,000 via radio show). What warrants so much desention towards the wwe from this site ? Are you familiar with this site?
Hey J.R. I've been watching Bobby lashley recently and I've more than less impressed with his in-ring skills and his popularity towards the fans. But he is just a rookie. He hasn't been in the WWE for even a year and he is headling the ECW PPV, and had headlined No Mercy. No doubt he will either win the ECW Title or win a major title in the near future. Do you have any thoughts on the WWE overly-pushing this rookie? Thanks for reading.
hey JR when r u guys gonna realise ur HUGE potential market in INDIA??? we have countless number of fans who know their wrestling! Even thought they arent 'smarts', im sure they'd love a houseshow or two on an experimental basis..cena was there a while back and the responce seemed good...what do u think?
I attended the Raw live event in Evansville this past june and it was a nice show. Seeing the Big Show for the first time. WOW!! Ive heard rumors about his retirement but i hope to see him perform live again in the future.
Well if you like the New Age Outlaws when they part of DX. then VKM is awsome even though there on tna. But Tna hour long show is better then smackdown any day of the week. Just because you look on 1wrestling.com and get the results for smackdown every single week and besides they keep having the same boring matches most of the time.
I stay in Mumbai, India and I gotto say this JR, you're a great commentator and yeah I have been a wrestling fan right from my childhood. I have been watching wrestling since I was 8 years, I am 22 right now. Recently whats happening in the wrestling world is bizarre as The New Age Outlaws, who have changed their name to Voodoo Kin Mafia (VKM) are acting like 5 year old kids just to gain some attention. I think the WWE has no competetion in todays scenario if there is competetion then it may be just RAW Vs Smackdown Vs ECW and yes according to me TNA shows some good wrestling but their storylines are bad, its just like emulating WWE. For me WWE was the company which brought my attention to wrestling and for me wrestling is greater than any other sport. I used to watch WCW during the monday night war period and I think the DX invasion of WCW was a great angle and what VKM or The James Gang Or The Washed Up Outlaws are doing right now is plainly pathetic. JR, every wrestling fan knows that DX was popular because of two men HHH and HBK, The New Age Outlaws were a decent tag team but taking credit for the popularity of D-Generation X is like Shane Douglas saying that he put ECW on the map, thats a total nonsense statement. TNA isnt a competetion to the WWE in any way. For me WWE was my first love, but today my interest in the WWE product has reduced considerably because as it has no real competetion the WWE has started showing bad storylines and below average wrestling. For me the best period of being a wrestling fan was 1997-2000. God! I miss the Monday Night Wars and WWF(E)Attitude Era. Good Bye.
Hello JR: I got my Wrestlemania tickets and am counting down the days! My question to you is somewhat dated, but it still seems relevent on the eve of the Extreme Elimination Chamber. As everybody knows, on the week of July 4th, RVD was on top of the world, and putting on increadiby matches at an unheard of pace. Then, as fate would have it, he was caught with marijuana and arrested. The story immediately became public and was even announced on WWE.com. While it had not been publicly acknowledged up til then, anybody who took 5 seconds to ask could have found out what 420 meant, and anybody who took 5 minutes to do research would know that RVD is a proud and outspoken advocate for marijuana and hemp use (medical, clothing, supplies, not just for partying as many would ASSume). I just don't see how WWE could not have known about this ahead of time, before the REAL ECW even ended. So my question to you, in your opinion obviously, is: Did WWE punish (and continuing to punish) RVD for using marijuana, or for BEING CAUGHT using marijuana? Since his return from suspension, he has continued to compete with amazing passion and dedication each time out. Nevertheless, many people believe that the powers that be are determined to never allow RVD reach the top spot again. The WWE's policy to hold down top draws because they don't like them personally, and instead push people that the crowd just doesn't seem to react to, doesn't seem like a smart business decision. I have been in this position at my job (or former job). The management heard rumors about my personal life and did everything they could leagally do to force me out the door. With this new story I'm hearing about WWE almost threating RVD if he doesn't go to Iraq, I'm getting the same sour feeling in my stomach.
Hi JR, First and foremost I just want to say that I've loved your work for years. I was recently watching WCW Superbrawl II when Jesse Ventura debuted as the colour commentator along side you. He said that if you had a cowboy hat, you would look just like JR Ewing. I knew your look came from the JR Ewing character, but was this quote where the original idea for the cowboy hat look came from or was it an inside joke that the boys used to make? Also what would say is your Match of the Year? It doesn't have to be WWE match. Thanks for your time Keep up the good work!
Hello, First off all I would like to say I enjoy reading your blog. I think its great that you take the time to read threw everyones comments and try your best to answer them on a regular basis. I recently purchased the new AWA DVD and it was great looking back on its history... and I see that a History of the WCCW DVD is right around the corner. Now I know that theres been a ton of bad blood between WWE and WCW in the past but I was wondering if we are EVER going to finnaly get a History of the WCW DVD? I was as much of a fan of WCW way back when as I am of the WWF/E and I would love to be able to look back on thoughs days. Thank you for your time.
TNA is the greatest and if Vince has any brains in his head then he would accept TNA and VKM as a great and powerful force. VKM has accepted the Hardy Boyz open challenge and I whole heartedly believe that Vince should let them compete. Viva La Raza
JR just wanted to say that you are the best at what you do... and do you think Undertaker will retire this Wrestlemania? Think he might do it possibly as the champ? Boomer Sooner! -Daniel Lodi, Ca
I THINK THE WHOLE VKM THING IS THAT TNA IS DESPERATE TO CAPITILIZE ON OLD WCW AND WE KNOW WHERE THEY ENDED UP, YOU HAVE THE BEST PRODUCT IN THE WORLD AND ALWAYS WILL VINCE ALWAYS MAKES STARS AND WHEN THEY GET TO BIG FOR THERE BRITCHES AND LEAVE THEY FALL ON THERE FACE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK JR IM NOT A SOONERS FAN BUT I AM ORANGE(SYRACUSE )ALL THE WAY MERRY CHRISTMAS
HEY JR. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF HOW THE FANS TREATED LITA ON HER LAST MATCH?? SHOULDN'T SHE HAD RETIRED AS A BABYFACE INSTEAD OF A HEEL?? BTW CAN WE GET SOME CLOWN OUTFITS FOR CRYME TIME ?? I THINK DOINK FOUND HER TAG TEAM PARTNERS
Dear J.R. , I have been watching RAW for 10 years and you are without a doubt the greatest announcer in WWE and Wrestling history. With that out of the way I want to know what you think of the possibilties of a "Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena match for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 23 are.
my favourite broadcast duo are gorrilla monsoon and bobby heenan, they were absolute class act together with brain feeding off gorillas comments and turning them in his favour,i also like you and jerry, and gorilla and jesse, and schiavone and heenan, but really hate michael coles announcing,a he never calls moves and almost says every wrestler he commentating on is the best ever for newer fans,do you think someone like dusty rhodes would fit the bill for smackdown announcing and who was your favourite duo?thanks
Hi There JR, I have never really done this before...but just thought I would drop a line. I know how difficult it is to break into any kind of media business much less a company the scale of WWE...Just wondering what steps a person would make in order to send in a broadcasting resume. My dream growing up was to be a WWE announcer or interviewer. I have been a radio dj in the Baltimore area over the years and since have moved to Maryland's Eastern Shore and have hosted a morning show over here as well. Over the years I have been able to interview some of my favorites like the Nature Boy. 32 years old with a degree in broadcasting...and a life long fan of WWE. Have seen just about every single pay per view since the first Wrestlemania. Try to stay up to date on the behind the scenes info...and of course have never missed a Monday night. As you can imagine my wife is a saint...ha ha ha. Thanks for any info. Steve
Hi JR! I love listening to you on RAW, and at the moment I don't think anyone is good enough to replace you yet, so I really hope you announce on RAW for many years to come. But what I'm asking is this: Who do you think will be WWE'S next "big star"? For example, it could be Bobby Lashley, Carlito, Shelton Benjamin, either of the Hardys, Chris Masters etc etc etc. What do you think? Thanks Jamie :)
J.R., good luck to your Sooners, they may need it. Our Huskers showed that they can play a little trickery against Colorado this past week. It should be a great game, let the best team win! Go Huskers!
hey j.r, do you think we will see a dx/nwo feud in the near future? thanks
Mr. Ross, A pleasure to have the chance to speak to you virtually. Since you have stated you do watch TNA, whom on their roster would you like to see in the WWE? Personally, I would love to see Petey Williams in WWE. Also, Please let everyone who may matter that we here in Chicago appreciate the talent and the performances of everyone in the WWE, from talent to ring crew to all in the back when you come to our town! Can't wait till you all return! Best wishes to you nd yours for the upcoming holiday season! Sincerely, Roger
I like what you said about the "VKM" thing but Vince has already done this with WCW and ECW. And now look WCW is dead (would like to see one more show) and ECW is on but under the WWE now so if TNA and VKM thank they are getting under Vince's skin then they should think again.
What match really amazed you at survivor series J.R.?
J.R. you are a hero to me and I appreciate what you and the wrestlers do everyday. My queston was that are you guys going to have any pay per views in vancouver anytime soon?
Why does WWE continue to perpetuate the myth that 93173 were in the silverdome when the real figure was closer to 80000 (an impressive enough figure)? Even Zane Bresloff who promoted the event confirmed that the paid was around 75500 with a further few thousand comps. Seems rediculous to have to exaggerate a number like 80000 in the first place particularly by almost 15000 people.
Do you think there is an interest at WWE in obtaining the tape libraries of the major japanese wrestling federations like All-Japan, New Japan or NOAH? Many WWE talents past, present and future (Hogan, Benoit, and Eddie Guerrero immediately come to mind) have been introduced or developed their skills in those historic pro wrestling federations. I really enjoyed seeing the Kid Pegasus/Black Tiger footage on Chris Benoit's DVD and I think fans would appreciate more matches from Japan. Go Sooners! Dan Robinson Norton, MA
Jim, having been a fan since the days of Bruno, Victor Rivera, etc.. why cant WWE consider allocating say 10-15 minutes for a match in its entirety from the old days in additon to the promo "This day in Wrestling History" I would love my kids and grandkids to view a Killer Kowalski vs George Steel match, or Pedro Morales vs Don Muraco match. If WWE does indeed own the rights to these films, wouldnt it be a win win situation from the standpoint of promoting WWE/24-7 and boost the ratings/interest in the Hall of Fame/Legends angle of WWE? surely RAW/Smackdown could allocate 10-15 minutes of their primetime to entertain us oldies as well as give some history of the WWWF/WWF/WWE back to the old Vince McMahon announcer days? Thanks for your interest.
Will we ver see Bam Bam Bigelow work for WWE again or even the new ECW, considering he is a former ECW star as well.
Hello Mr. Ross, I'm from Oldenburg, Germany and a WWE (and Wrestling) Fan for about 25 years (I'm 40 now). I watch every single Pay-per-View on German station "Premiere". Here is my question: With the exception for "No Way Out" (which was aired live) every Pay-per-View is on a 1 hour time-delay. Plus - much worse - each match, which contains blood is shown in black and white. The german market and the situation here has changed in my opinion and I definetely think, WWE could give their permission to air the events live and unedited. I would love to hear your opinion, kind regards and all the best Martin Stuerzebecher Oldenburg, Germany
JR - I've noticed a trend with some of the recent WWE dvd releases of a superstar's career and the WrestleMania sets. Some of the commentary is missing on matches (like in Jake the Snake's WCW match with Sting--we hear you but not Jesse Ventura). On the reissued WrestleMania dvds, the classic theme music of some performers has been changed. Is there a way for us old-school WWF fans to voice our disapproval of altering classic footage? I'm sure you would agree that you can't improve on awesome "burnt ends", but that's exactly what these dvd tweaks are attempting.
I'm gonna order some sauces, I've been waiting for years and its finally time. I thought you making suaces was some long-term joke or something.
