J.R you rock i will be watching on raw on monday! give me a shout out on raw on national TV
JR, It's a tribute not only to WWE but to yourself that a name of your stature rings true in the all time greats of sports entertainment. I have been watching wrestling for my whole life and I live in England. I have to say when Vince took over the commentating from Gorrilla and Heenan, I really didn't think it came up to scratch, but then the WWE signed Good Ol' JR, and what a signing that was. You came from WCW when they were on their way up and came to WWE when they was on their way down and you changed everything for the better. When you was matched up with Jerry Lawler, again I had doubts, but i am proud to say you are a the best pair under monsoon and heenan, and that is nothing to be ashamed of. When you had your stroke adnd you left our screens for a while, you was sorely missed, and we all wanted you back, and you did not let your fans down, you thought through it all, and you returned and Thank God and Bless you for that. It's not just your commentary that you need to recognised for, it's for all your hard work behind the scenes, helping the superstars, scouting the superstars and making normal guys into the stars we see week in week out. I am sure Stone Cold will vouch for that. JR you are a truely memorable and amazing guy. Congratulations YOU DESERVE EVERYTHING , YOU IS COMING TO YOU AND MORE.
Congratulations, J.R.!For us here in the Philippines, you are the voice of the WWE!
Congrats JR on your induction, and I am very curious to know if the Rock intends to return to wrestling, that you know of, and if so; when? thanks for all that you have contributed to wrestling... P.S. any info you have about the Rock and wrestling would be well desired. Thanks
When is Jim Ross going to retire? When is he moving to Smack Down or ECW? Congrations JR

Congratulations JR! I have been a wrestling fan for some time now and would likely not have been if not for your genius. Truly, you are the best of your generation and probably any generation past, though I know you would probably give Gordon Soley that honour.
congratulations and enjoy this very busy weekend for you , my years of memories would not be the same without your voice
Congratulations,J.R.!!! What Curt Gowdy is to Baseball ,Pat Summerall is to Football, etc.etc, YOU are to Professional Wrestling/"Sports Entertainment". Throughout your long career you have bought class to wrestling & I will watch your induction Saturday night with pride & tears in my eyes. Enjoy this night for you truly deserve it!!!
Congrats on being a Hall of Famer. I've been saying for such a long time that you need to be in the Hall of Fame. So much so that when they announced that you'd be inducted this year, I came to tears. I'm a huge fan of your commentary. I don't think the WWE would be that same without you. So once more, Congrats on being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Congratulations to the best announcer in the wrestling business today. Austin will do the honors, and he will be amazing. Ill be listening on Sunday WRESTLEmANIA 23

Congratulations JR, you really really deserve it as much as the king does as many people say, I wish I could see the show live, but thats not the case sadly. But I'll be there in sprit to clap in my hands for the Class of 07
CONGRATULATIONS!! Jim on your Hall Of Fame induction. You truly are the voice of wrestling. RAW wouldn't be the same on Monday nights with out you and the King at ring side. I can't wait to tune in Saturday night and watch you, the King and the many other Superstars that are being inducted. I'll also be watching WrestleMania 23 Sunday to watch as you call HBK! the NEW WWE CHAMPION. "SHAWN MICHEALS HAS DONE AGAIN FOLKS IN ONE HELL OF A SLOBBERKNOCKER! ONCE AGAIN THE BOYHOOD DREAM HAS CAME TRUE FOR HBK!";)
Congratulations JR on your induction to the Hall of Fame. To be there along with Gene Okerlund & Jerry Lawler is a tremendous honor, especially with what you've been through the last year or two. I have a feeling that Steve Austin will be inducting you in and I'll definitely be watching Saturday night. As you say, it's going to be a slobberknocker.
Congratulations to you and 'the King' for being inducted in this year's hall of fame. I've watched you from the early days in the Mid-South, and you've called the greatest matches in the sports' history! There are so many moments in WWE history that you and Lawler have called and you both are 'the voices' of WWE. It's so fitting that you both deserve this prestigeous honor!! Congrats again to you both and look forward to many more years of you on Monday nights and Pay per views!!
Man Jr that was one of the great inductions or nominations. Live like that on monday night Raw can not get know better than that wish I could been there live to witnees the crowd and reactions ... Congrats OL JR your the BEST. at what you do!!!!!!!
Congats on the HOF inductment!! You truly deserve it! I've been a fan of yours for a long time, and in my opinion, you are the best of all time! No one can get the audience into the match like you can... your match calling is so heartfelt and it shows. And to be inducted the same year as the King... the HOF will truly have a great team in there now.... Thanks for so many years of great match calling and wrestling insight, and here's to many more years to come.
CONGRATULATIONS! Your one of the main reasons I watch raw. It is clear to me that you are still a huge wrestling fan and the passion from wrestling comes through your commentating. CONGRATULATIONS! No one deserves it more in my humble opinion.
Now we know where Macho Man's Spot went to. It was a plot all along by JR who even though he has no acutal say in the HOF bumped Macho Man for himself. All kidding aside JR you are the best and you Deserve everything you get, I just hope at the HOF someone yells (In the JR Voice when he says "STONE COLD") JR JR JR OH MY GOD JR, THE JR ERA HAS STARTED
Congratulations on your Hall of Frame. We here in Baltimore are so proud of you and the rest of them. You earn it.
Congratulations, you deserve it!
Congratulations JR. You deserve the Hall of Fame as much as anyone anybody can name and I'm really pleased you've been recognised. You are, and I hope you continue to be for a long time THE voice of wrestling.
Congratulations JR, I hope you enjoy the Hall of Fame event - but this doesn't mean your career is over, I hope you continue to entertain us for many years. All the best, Niall in the UK.
JR you deserved being inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame. Like Stone Cold says, There is no one better. End of story. I enjoy listening to you on Raw every week.
Congratulations JR! You are as deserving as anyone to be included in the Hall of Fame. JR has contributed more to wrestling in the last 20 years than almost any other person. The list of wrestling moments that JR's voice is indelible linked to streches into the hundreds. Stone Cold! Stone Cold! My God he's Broken in Half! Here's to another 20 years of JR's voice being the voice of profesional wrestling. Again my most heartfelt congratulations.
WELL DONE AND CONGRALATIONS J.R it is about time that the old man Reslied that with out you RAW is not half as good as it should be kock them on there hiney J.R. give them Hell At The Table And Never Lose Your Hat. This Will Step Up Raw Like Nothing Else well done and keep it coming for Years to come The best is just around the Bend
Congratulations JR !!! You are one of the most deserving ones to be inducted into the hall of fame !!
That was a great moment on Raw yesterday with everybody giving you a much deserved standing ovation, very emotional moment. Was a fantastic Raw as well, what an ending! Keep it up JR!
The announcement of JRs induction for me was the most beautiful heartwarming moment in wrestling since the celebration of Eddie and Chris at Wrestlemania XX. Congratulations JR!
J.R. congrats on the honor. though I am disappointed in the choice on Steve Austin as your presenter. I feel that this choice was done to please the WWE with one of their superstar marquee names. my choice would have been Steve "Dr.Death" Williams who is also a close friend of yours and can speak about your time in mid south/UWf and the OU football program you love in addition to your current work in the WWE.
I also want to congratulate you on this well-deserved honor.
congrats JR on the wwe hall of fame. and it was a nice sight to see you get the standing O, and chant. I cried with you.
JR, I am SO happy for you, and talk about a well deserved honor! Plus I think it is terrific that you and the King are being inducted at the same time. JR, you seem a very humble man and I don't know if you really realize just how much joy you have given to "the millions and millions watching at home." But trust me, any match not called by JR is missing something. Like a fine steak without your barbecue sauce. It may be good, but it ain't great! The one thing I'm upset about is them announcing your entry so close to the event. I'd like a whole bunch more chances than I'm going to have to watch that wonderful video tribute your guys gave you. And I went from wiping away tears to roaring with laughter when Kali came walking down and I heard "Talk about a buzz kill!" Congradulations JR! And thank you for all the years of great times and wishing you giving us all many years more! With respect and admiration..
Congrats on the HOF induction J.R.! Completely deserved and long overdue in my opinion, although I'm sure you're too modest to concur. Can't wait for that autobiography. Shawn
Congratulations on the induction, J.R.! You deserve it.
Congratulations, JR. It is a well deserved honor for you. may you rule the mic at Raw for years to come.
It's about time that we recognize one of the reasons why RAW is what it is. I'm absolutely thrilled that you are being inducted into the HOF. Out of everyone, I cannot think of someone who has more class and is more deserving that you JR. It is going to be your night, and I hope that you enjoy it!!!!
Way to go J.R.- there is no announcer in the last twenty years more deserving of a spot in the Hall Of Fame. You're the reason I watch RAW. Honestly. I even wrote you a letter about it once. :)
Congratulations on your WWE Hall of Fame induction, J.R. Though I'm sure you have many years ahead of you, there is no one more deserving of that honor than yourself. I must admit I got a little choked up watching the announcement and the highlights video. It's just not Raw without the voice of Good Ol' J.R. Thank you for representing wrestling and its fans with great class and dignity for so many years. -Dave
Congratulations JR. After that horrendous Mr. Heiny thing was pulled on you in 2005, it must have been so gratifying to receive such a tremendous ovation from the live crowd. I know Meltzer's said it in his update, but the thought crossed my mind as well...If you have the likes of Austin, Rock and Triple H calling you the best ever, why the rush to replace you? I guess some questions are best left unanswered! Really pleased that your friend, Steve Austin will be inducting you, the way those other inductees were going, I wouldn't have been surprised if Joey from 'Friends' had inducted you.
Dear J.R., Congrats on the "Call to the Hall". I will be there in Detroit to see it happen!
Congratulations JR!!! You and Jerry truly deserve such a great honor!!! Wrestling just wouldn't be the same without you two. Congrats on all your successful years gone by and to the many years to come.
Heh J.R. left you a comment regarding you being inducted into the hall of fame class of 2007 but it's gone. So I will send it again, I am delighted you have been inducted into the hall of fame completly and most utterly deserved, you and the king together are just fantastic and I mean that from the bottom of my heart as a life long wrestling fan. The standing ovation you recieved in chicago was fantastic, and I sincerly hope yourself and the rest of your family have a great evening. All the best and once again all the best you are now assured of legend status .
Jim Ross, as one of the most prolific announcers in the history of wrestling, you are definitely suitable to be inducted this year. I have followed your career from when you were a part of Bill Watt's mid-south territory, to joining the NWA/WCW, hosting countless events, television programs, and eventually becoming their lead play-by-play man and working your way up the career ladder to become Executive Vice President of Broadcasting (and later on Head of Talent Relations for WWE). Speaking of the 'E, I continued to admire your work when you went to WWE. Who can forget that infamous toga from Wrestlemania 9? You were faced with a setback and were forced to indefinitely leave the WWE when you were diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. However, you returned better than ever at Wrestlemania 15, and have since reigned strong as the host of countless episodes of Monday Night Raw, alongside your broadcast partner, and fellow inductee in 2007, Jerry "the King" Lawler. This year you will be at the Hall of Fame, not as an inducter but as an inductee as you go into your rightful place as a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. Congradulations to the both of you!! You deserve it. ~Main Event Radio Host Ryan Rider.
Congrats, JR! I also think you are the best announcer, ever. EVER! I do think that the induction may be a bit premature, as you have many, many great years ahead, but then again, you certainly have already "qualified". I remember many great calls - and partners - throughout the years. I especially remember the chemistry with PS back in the UWF with great fondness. Sorry about the overuse of the term "great", but I'm at a loss for a synonym right now. So, congrats again, and I'm gonna run off for a tissue....
God bless you J.R.! Watching the crowd in Chicago last night choked me up and made me proud to be a wrestling fan. I too had tears in my eyes and everything the wrestlers said about you is so true. I cant wait for Saturday night! Sheldon from Montana
Dear JR, My sincerest congatulations on your WWE Hall of Fame induction. I've been a wrestling fan, much like yourself, for a LONG time, and believe me when I tell you, no one deserves it more! I can't wait to stay up Saturday night to watch it on tv. Though you may never admit it, being as humble as you are, but you are a true Icon in the business, and that can never be taken away. -Jason
First and foremost congrats and thank you. In Detroit we have a gentleman by the name of Ernie Harwell who anyone in Detroit would tell you is the voice of Baseball in the motor city. I have been watching wrestling for 30 years and without quesition when I hear a match you are the voice of wrestling. I was one of the lucky ones who got tickets for the show Saturday night and to me its a bigger event then Mania although Mania being in Detroit is cool as well! The crowd rection on the telcast was amazing and you deserve every second of recognition! I look forward to hearing your speech at Saturday night as I'm sure it will be a sloberknocker.
You so deserve to go in JR and the video package announcing it was absolutely fantastic too. Respect to you is long overdue and those fans in Chicago echoed what we all feel, You are the voice of wrestling and long may that continue.
