Let's get to your questions and remember, many questions posed have already been answered on previous blogs. I suggest you read the archived blogs when you have the time. Plus, I am not going to start speculating on who should or should not be in the 2008 WWE Hall of Fame. That's WAY too early to begin nothing but pure speculation. I also don't know when or where Wrestlemania tickets go on sale, but I suggest you check out
www.wwe.com for that sort of info as the travel packages seem to guarantee fans tickets as I expect tickets to sell out quickly for the Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando for next March.
Glass Joe- Mick Foley can fill many roles within WWE programming. I fully expect to see much more of Mick on TV in the upcoming months. What role will that entail? Who knows, but I suggest you stay tuned! Personally, I hope it is back in the ring.
John in Portland- O.K. let's stop the insanity. I am not stupid enough to "deliver a message to Mr. McMahon" about what you like or do not like about WWE programming. I roll with the punches and take the good shows with the not so good shows and don't live or die with either. Perhaps that philosophy would work for you too.
Alexandra- According to the label on our Jerky, no MSG is listed. However, I will check further. It is selling like crazy, which is awesome.
Ken in Toronto- I am not aware of upcoming appearances in Toronto, but the WWE office there may know more info or you can check out
www.wwe.com. I am anxious to arrive in TO as it is one of my favorite cities.
Amy- "Batista lost the title because he was too full of himself" is what you heard reported on the internet... Come on Amy, don't fall for that manufactured manure. There was one reason Batista lost and that reason is simply "The Undertaker".
Michael- I have no idea if there will ever be a Hardys vs. Kendrick and London match, but if it ever happens I would love to be there to see it. It might be reminiscent of the Rock 'n Roll Express vs. the Midnight Express matches in the 80's.
Levar- I never said I hoped Ric Flair wouldn't get another "run" with the WWE or World Title, but that I doubted that it would happen. No one is a bigger Flair fan than me, but I simply don't think this other "run" is in the cards. Hopefully, I am wrong.
Simon- I make no adjustments when broadcasting a Raw in the UK as it feels like home to me. No issues whatsoever once I get over the jet lag. Drinking ample amounts of H2O and not ample amounts of alcohol helps my cause too. The UK crowds don't allow any of us to "phone it in" because they are "loud and proud" from beginning to end.
Jason- To the best of my knowledge, Joe "Road Warrior Animal" Laurinaitis has no official role in the WWE. His brother John has my old job as head of Talent Relations.
Vicky- O.K., one more time, The Rock is building a career in the movie business. It is highly unlikely that Rock will ever wrestle again. Perhaps I am wrong, but I don't see it anywhere on the horizon. I still communicate with "The Great One" and he is totally immersed in the challenging career of film making. The Rock does not hate wrestling. He has simply moved on to other things.
Scott- I agree that recently the lines have been blurred between the WWE Brand Separation. I like it personally, but I am in favor of the Brand Separation over all as it provides many wrestlers the opportunity to work a full time schedule and to better provide for their families.
Gonzo- Again... the WWE has shown great interest in purchasing the UWF/Mid South library, but it takes two to tango and the seller has to be willing to sell to make this happen.
Chris- I have been keeping up with Konan's health issues and he is in our prayers and hopefully is in yours. Konan is a talented individual, especially on the mic.
JP- I love the upside of Cade and Murdoch. Their ascent to the top of the tag charts has been indeed quick but these two are the real deal and might make one of the WWE's best duos in years.
KT- After Raw went off the air Monday, Mr. McMahon strolled by the announce table and knocked my hot tea off the table. Luckily I did not have to wear it.
Ryan- Lilian Garcia is undergoing ACL surgery after injuring her knee on the ski slopes. We hope Lilian is back with us soon.
Justin- Who's better - Flair or Hogan? An age old question. What are your criteria? If it is simply having a great match night after night and making any opponent one faces better than they actually were then the nod goes to Flair without fail. If it is simply box office appeal and selling merchandise, it probably would be Hogan.
