Drunk Fans.. Hollywood Blonde Reunion.. Factions Dead?.. Cornette Commentary.. Broken Tables.. ‘91 Bash, Ugh.. International Shi

Thanks for providing us with so much feedback on the opportunity to buy a signed “J.R.’s Cook Book” and all your T shirt and other merchandise ideas. They are all greatly appreciated. Business has picked up in our store here on the site and we are definitely appreciative of that as well. You guys are the best! Our Beef Jerky is becoming a big time favorite. WWE.com’s Shopzone is selling some flavors of our sauce and our Jerky and they ship worldwide, so for you folks outside the USA, you might want to check out the WWE site and place your orders there. I confirmed that they ship everywhere this week, so if you’ve been waiting for it, you can order it from WWE! Below is the link to take you right there when you’re ready to order! If you go through the WWE SHOP main page, the J.R. items are listed under “Other Merchandise.” We are still working on the paperwork and such to get this done for our own site. I don’t have a timeline as to when this task will be completed. As far as ordering your sauce and jerky RIGHT NOW and getting it ASAP, WWE has a huge shipping department that ships all over the world already Click here to order J.R.’s Family Bar-B-Q sauce or Beef Jerky from WWE Shop to get worldwide shipping. Let’s get to your comments… Fish- Jeremy Shockey is a helluva football player who grew up in Ada, Oklahoma. I think he has matured over the past season or two which will help his preparation for this season and should contribute to him having a nice year for the Giants. Jeremy is a character and probably would be a helluva star in the WWE. The WWE has zero control over “drunk fans” at WWE events because it is the arena that controls the sale of beer and other concessions in their arena. People who drink and make an ass of themselves are a bore to be around, no matter what the event. The only person that can stand a drunk is another drunk. Jesselee- I seriously doubt if the Hollywood Blondes of Austin and Pillman would have ever had a reunion in the WWE. Both were hell bent on singles careers. Natalie- I don’t know all the details of why Bruno Sammartino is perpetually angry at the WWE but it seems as if he is. That’s too bad, as Bruno deserves his day in the WWE sun at the Hall of Fame. It is hard for me to fathom that I am in the WWE HOF and Bruno isn’t. I find it very unhealthy for anyone to carry such angst with them for prolonged periods of time. Plus, Bruno’s fans deserve to enjoy the moment at the WWE HOF if Bruno would accept entry. And no, I don’t think he should go in without his blessing and support. I suggest to the legendary Sammartino, and I mean that in all seriousness, to “let it go.” Kathy- I concur with the moderator that Rudy’s in San Antonio is a good Bar-B-Q to try. I have had several meals there with Steve Austin myself, as Steve used to live near there. However, Rudy’s won’t compare to J.R.’s I assure you! Ryan- What do I do Tuesday-Sunday? I travel on Sunday and I travel on Tuesday. When I have free time, I work on the website, I am helping open a major investment in our restaurant, I have “honey do’s” to accomplish, and I hang out with my friends, many on the OU Football coaching staff. Plus I still have significant WWE administrative responsibilites to fulfill. And I hit the Sonic about every day. Jack in New Zealand- I don’t think YouTube, or any one else, has the right to make money off of products they do not own. I enjoy YouTube from time to time also, but why should someone be able to profit off of another’s property? Also, any company HAS to protect their copyrights by law, in order to continue ownership. Jack- I don’t think factions are dead. I think they are less likely to be utilized until the right combination of talent is assembled for a new faction and the timing is right. Again, the lack of depth has changed the way wrestling companies book their product. Michael- King uses a company laptop at ringside on Monday nights. We really don’t need King’s personal laptop sitting in a public place! Just kidding. Greg- The great Danny Hodge deserves to be in every wrestling Hall of Fame that exists. Period. Yes, we plan on having our Bar-B-Q at the OU home football games again, in addition to having our restaurant open on June 27 as it now stands. Noah- I absolutely was a Phi Lamb at NSU in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in my college days. Every Phi Lamb story I could think of involved 3 things, cold beer, parties, and intramural football. All were wild, fun times. Nickel beer night was a dangerous deal when the Phi Lambs got together. Terry- Good grief…I never said I did not like Alberta when I spoke kindly of Toronto! Plus, I have as much to do with the scheduling of events as you do, which is nothing. I could bitch and moan about OKC not having any events that I am aware of, the entire year of 2007, but I won’t. That proves right there that I have nothing to do with scheduling! Daniel- Jim Cornette is one of the most talented minds ever in wrestling, albeit he oftentimes demonstrates a volatile personality. I loved doing commentary with JC and have many fond memories of our relationship that dates back to the 80’s. JG- Did I really “rip” MVP’s attire? Is “rip” the term? I don’t personally like his ring attire, but I damn sure don’t “hate” it. My only point is that it seems that MVP has a good physique that fans may never see. He’s got a truck load of potential, nonetheless. Bobbracew- Is Kennedy “injury prone?” I doubt it and hope not, that’s for sure. He’s another young WWE talent who is going to really be a star. Ivan- Why has The Undertaker been involved in so many specialty matches? Because many have lent compatibly to his persona and perhaps more importantly, is that Taker is good at them. Smokey- Wrestlers not appearing on TV doesn’t necessarily mean that they are not in the arena. Sinistergrynn- I do love “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” but I won’t be going to Ted Danson for any investment advise on the restaurant. However, I may try to recruit “Hugh.” Mile HIgh- I know the King would love to wrestle in a significant series of matches in the WWE. King would much rather wrestle than do commentary. I hope Jerry gets to compete at a Wrestlemania some day, as in 2008. King still wrestles several days a month in Memphis and on the indy circuit. Jordan- I have not heard the whereabouts of Muhammad Hussan in months. I don’t even know if he wants to get back into wrestling. Bill- Dusty Rhodes is working in WWE Creative using his impressive creative skills to help the product. Dusty kidded me about my HOF speech going too long and I kidded him back about the highlight of his speech being Dusty shaking his ample arse. Simon- I totally disagree on Benoit. Chris is a main eventer in the eyes of everyone who counts, and to compare Chris with Angle doesn’t work for me. They are two totally different personalities. Rory- I do not consider Mick Foley a “stuntman.” I am not against using foreign objects in matches, but I am against the “overuse” of these objects. That’s a personal preference on my part. No one has to agree but if these chairs, etc. are used less frequently they will mean more when they are used. Horowitz 3:16- If there ever was a Umaga-Khali “Evening Gown Match” I think Styles and Tazz should call it, because seeing the two competitors in “large” evening gowns is definitely extreme. Tim- When the announce tables are broken, they are reassembled as a rule. Why leave chairs around ringside? Where do you propose folks sit without chairs? Chris- Why did the 1991 Scaffold Match take place with most of the competitors afraid of heights? There is no logical answer. It certainly was not good planning and may have been someone’s “after thought” and simply added to the show as it was not a featured main event. That was a long night. IMan- It seems you simply don’t like some of the creative you see, which is certainly your choice. As I mentioned, success is judged in many forms, including financially and artistically. I was never a Doink fan either, but I always exercised my option of changing the channel when I saw something I did not like. There is always “Weather on the 8’s.” Jonny- As I mentioned, WWE.com’s Shopzone is shipping some of our products internationally. I hope you will check them out. Plus, my entire induction speech is available on WWE.com too, which I hope everyone will check out. Reverend Funk- Cables or ropes? I think cables the last I looked. My most memorable experience of George the Animal Steele was meeting him for the first time in 1993 and George talking like a normal person. I was somewhat taken aback. B.A.- This is another topic we have touched on, why don’t wrestling play by play men call more holds and moves? Because the companies want stories to be told and for the play by play guys to not do the "hold for hold" method any longer. It’s called, following the directions from the “home office.” Nick- I am sorry Carlito did not smile for your Disneyworld photo, but if you were with Mickie James as well, it couldn’t be all bad. Perhaps Carlito was having “female problems” or something that day. Or a bad hair day… who knows? Newton- One of the reasons I have not answered you could be that you asked questions I have already addressed on numerous occasions. Yes, I know we need a FAQ section badly. However, Steve Blackman is teaching mixed martial arts and self defense in Pennsylvania and charming people with his warm personality. Just kidding, as I had a lot of fun with Steve and his dry wit. Jay- We are looking forward to Raw in Hampton, which is sold out. (No “slump” in Hampton!) After the show everyone, goes their separate ways. I assume some may go to their hotel bar, etc. I don’t recommend it, but that’s just me. Sometimes less than good things happen real late at night with the wrestlers and drunken alpha male bar patrons. I have a 6 a.m. flight out of Norfolk on Tuesday morning, so I know where I will be after Raw… in my room taking a couple of hour nap. Stug- I am totally against women competing against men in a wrestling ring. Call me old fashioned, but it makes no sense to me. I never liked Chyna competing against men either. Nathaniel- I strongly suggest you check out Harley Race’s wrestling school near the Lake of the Ozarks. Harley is a legend who is also a great teacher. Down the road when other wrestlers ask who trained you, if you can say Harley Race, they will approve. J Horal- When I mentioned Scott Hall having a great “wrestling mind,” it is akin to a football player having natural instincts, especially a QB who can quickly recognize defenses and coverage’s. Scott had the ability to quickly size up his opponents strengths and weaknesses and to know what the audience wanted to see. Joey- When I think of the old days of the San Antonio wrestling territory I think of Bruiser Brody and Jose Lothario, but there were so many more. Perhaps some old timers can chime in here. (Moderator adds; “Mr. Piledriver” Bob Sweetan, Kevin Sullivan, Tully Blanchard, Ivan Putski, Scott Putski, Luna, Johnny Mantell, Scott Casey, Jonathon Boyd and the Sheepherders of course, and many more. Bruiser Brody, managed by Playboy Gary Hart, was indeed the icing on the cake when Brody was on the card! At a big outdoor event in San Antonio, Brody once came to the ring in the back of an ambulance that was wailing away. The ambulance stayed at ringside to take Brody’s opponent back to the hospital after the match! The Sheepherders were later replaced by the Maori’s from New Zealand, managed by Boyd, when Luke and Butch left for Mid South Wrestling.) Cory- It is great hearing from an Oklahoma State fan, as I pull for the Cowboys every game but one. We are still looking for feedback on the potential of making our “J.R.’s Cookbook” available for the holidays and I appreciate yours and everyone’s feedback. Tired Hippo- Can one wrestle with Cystic Fibrosis? I could not answer that one, but I don’t believe on putting any limits on one’s self. If you ask some people, TV announcers with Bells palsy should be on radio and not TV. Don’t let people tell you what you can’t do… ever. Ron- Yes, HBK is a huge Spurs fan who follows them closely and used to be a season ticket holder when he was off the road all those years. I don’t know when the Adrian Peterson Vikings jerseys will be available, but I think the purple and gold #28 jerseys will be a hot seller. Let’s get AD signed first, as I hope he gets to camp on time and is ready to run. Again, I hope you will check out WWE.com’s Shopzone for J.R.’s products and remember that the WWE is shipping them all over the world. Plus, my Hall of Fame speech is available on WWE.com as well and I sure hope you will check it out. Many have liked it and some haven’t. You be the judge. In the meantime… please visit our store here and enjoy “Jerky-Mania!” BOOMER SOONER! J.R.

Hey JR, You've witnessed a lot of great moments in Pro Wrestling and from the intros in the WWE cookbook and your blog writing, I can see you definately have a knack for writing. Ever consider writing a book documenting your time in the profession? If Mick and Edge can do it, why not you? I think it'd be one heck of a read.
Hey JR, Hey I got two questions, first is another Kane question. Kane is my favorite wrestler, and I liked him better masked, which makes him more mysterious. Now, I am not going to ask if he will return being masked or not, I am just wondering when he is going to win his next WWE/World Heavyweight title? Do you think he should deserve a big push? If he does win the WWE/World title, will he keep it more than a day? Now, with all due respect, there are more talent than Batista and Cena, even though Batista is not champion, he is constantly made the #1 contender. Well, tell me what you think. The second question is, you may have been asked this before, but, have all ppv's being tri-branded become stressful to you? Is this extra scheduling have been an advantage or disadvantage? Well, I love the web site and your one of a kind announcing on RAW, keep up the good work. Later!
Is Kane coming back masked anytime soon?? When is the next draft lottery?? Is the rock coming back? Is the Big Show coming back?
is stephanie mcmahon ever going to return? what wwe wrestlers like nascar?
This could be a tough question. Has the Internet affected wrestling in a negative or positive way? Or maybe a bit of both?
Is there going to be a 2007 King of the Ring tournament??
Hello JR.I was wondering about James Laurinaitis. This upcoming season he will be a Junior.Do you know if he's being scouted for a chance to be drafted by the NFL?
Hey Jim, A couple people have mentioned that there seemed to be tension between you and Jerry last Monday. With all due respect to Mr. Lawler, I personally cannot stand the way he announces. I think he makes himself sound like an idiot, which I know he is not. In my opinion, a person with Jerry's history in the business would not talk the way he talks on camera - it ruins his credibility. Its funny... I find myself wishing every week that you will just ignore him when he asks a rhetorical question or makes a stupid comment. Thanks for making my Monday!
Just want to say you're great, keep up the cool blogging. As for the t-shirts the red and black ones are cool i'd buy them both.If it came to the push though it would be the black. Good luck with your new venture. Love forever, first timer, tracy xxx
Jim - What are the chances of WWE releasing full year-long DVD sets of Raw and Nitro? People would buy these sets.
JR's chipotle ketchup "recipe # 26"::: ...on a Jack in the Box Sourdough Ultimate Cheeseburger.
What's happenin? Lately there has been a buzz regarding a Joey's Smokin BBQ based in California. Since the Laker's Luke Walton recently opened one of their resturaunts, they are now trying to claim that they have the best BBQ in the country, after their resturaunts have only been open for 2 years! Have you heard of Joey's Smokin BBQ? Would you eat there? Maseo
Rock and Sock Connection???
Hi JR, just wanted to ask that have you thought about releasing an autobiography, which could mention Stone Cold, Mick Foley, Eric Bischoff, WCW, SMW, King and Vince. You could give us huge insight into wrestling. Having read Foley's brilliant book, I feel you could also let us see how the WWE is run. Speaking of Foley, do you think we will see more of him in the ring, WWE is missing him. One match I'd like to see is Mick Foley vs The Undertaker, King of the Ring 2008, A decade on (Hell in a Cell). That would be a sell-out pay-per-view. Hope to see you call matches at WWE for years to come.
JR, why did WWE change Little Bastard's name to Hornswoggle? Also, who do you think would win in a match/fight between Hornswoggle and Little Beaver?
Hello JR. Thought you'd like to know, if you didn't already, Turner Classic Movies is having a John Wayne marathon next week starting Monday night (I know you're busy then) lasting till Wednesday then showing some more classic Duke movies in prime time the rest of the week. I'm sure "The Cowboys" is in there some where, so you may want to skip that one. Love the site and keep up the great work on RAW.
J.R., great job on monday night as usual. I have a quick question, And that is I have noticed on several occasions during broadcasts over the years that both you and Tazz have referred to Paul Heyman as "Happy Heyman" Why is that ?
Hello, my best friend, Kev, referred me to this website and I think it's totally awesome that you take time from your schedule to respond to your fans. That is total class, JR. I've been reading some of your posts and I see that Toronto is one of your favorite Canadian cities...Other than Toronto, what is your next favorite? Have you ever been to or heard of Timmins, Ontario and do you know if the WWE will ever come up here... Timmins has a pretty good Bar B Q joint too, i hear. :) I'm sure that if you ever visit Timmins, you'll have a new favorite Canadian city. ;) Keep up the GREAT work,JR. PEACE
Hey J.R. We have always enjoyed the wwe shows when they come around the carolinas. I am a South Carolina Native, so we love our BBQ. Just wondering, have you ever eaten at or heard of Shealy's BBQ?
My dream match is... The Great Kahli vs 100 midget army. Kahli vs 100 midget wrestlers. That would be entertaining. They'd be climbing on his head, inside his black sweatpants, going speedbag on his groin. He's be throwing them all over the place. Sounds awesome to me. Who do you think would win?
I've seen the WWE in Dothan, AL several times. It's a great place to see wrestling because the civic center is fairly small. I wanted to comment on the female wrestlers. I believe that they come off much better live than on TV. They really look like the incredible athletes they are live. Candice was very impressive live as was Mickie James. Just curious if maybe they are more relaxed at house shows than on TV and thats why they come across better live. I think that given time, Candice or Mickie could be known as the best womens wrestler of all time.
Hi JR, I've noticed that people have been posting old WWE clips on youtube and after a month or so, they are taken down (copyright infringement perhaps?). I have a solution to this problem: The WWE could do what alot of current TV series (ie: 24, Lost, Entourage) are doing and that is release entire previous seasons on DVD. For the WWE it could be: WWE Raw is War 1997 or WWE Monday Night Raw 1995. Personally, if I could buy a DVD box set for the full year of Raw in 1996 or '97 or '98, I would not hesitate! Thanks for reading, Mike
Hey JR! Greetings from the Adirondacks. Great blogs as usual. Thanks for answering my questions a couple blogs ago. I agree about the talent/charisma quotient. Do you have any interest in making/selling a Sweet n Sour sauce? No offense to BBQ I eat as much as I can but I likes SnS for dipping. I also agree with the premise you've said that injured wrestlers make room for healthy bodies. Interesting wording too. Maybe some of the undercarders will step up into the top. Peace.
Hey, I was Lucky enough to go the the raw live event of May 14. When you came out I was able to get a picture but when The King came out I wasn't able to. After the show I saw The King walking backstage. I had seat directly next to the ramp so I ran over to him because I wanted to get a picture. He was on the otherside of a security gate but I tried to get a picture. Another person there was screaming his name and trying to get an autograph but Jerry just walked right past us with his head down . I was just wonderind Does The King not like crowds? I thought you miht be able to answer this cause you announce with him. Thanks, Savannah
I enjoyed Raw, I am very excited to see Ric Flair at Judgement Day against Carlito. I hope I see the "old" Flair, by that I mean I want to see him command the ring and hold the audience in the palm of his hand. I know he can do it. Anyway. I was watching the WWE 24/7 Online subscriber video of your induction in the WWE Hall of Fame. Congratulations again, you more then deserve it. Watching it got me thinking about the following. Which wreslters WWE in Ring personas' are most closely related to their "out of ring" personalities. The reason I ask is that I noticed that Stone Cold sounds the same our of the ring as in the ring. Your thoughts?
Hey JR, Excellent blog as always. Can't wait to try the Jerky, do you have any plans in the works to make it available through retailers in Canada? Was sorry to hear about Vito and Sabu being released. Seems strange to be releasing people with the ECW Tag Titles supposedly in the works, but if their heart isn't into the product what can you do? My real question is, being that you are a virtual wrestling encylopedia, I was wondering if you ever encountered guys that I remember from the Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling promotion in eastern Canada. I saw you had mentioned Leo Burke, was wondering if you ever had any dealings with any of the guys such as The Beast, The Cuban Assasin, Sweet Daddy Seki, Steve Pedipaw or even Tom Billington aka The Dynamite Kid? I remember going to their events as a kid and there were so many great heels, but encountered a few outside the ring and they were just great guys. I believe Kurgan and Rene Dupree may have been trained by some of their alumni, but not sure anyway, take care. Oh yeah, and when you see people from Alberta whining that you like Toronto, the reason is two fold, One all non-Torontonians in Canada hate Toronto, no one knows why. Reason Two Alberta is the spoiled rich kid of Canada and doesn't like it when they are not the center of attention. Take care and thanks for all your hard work on the site and in WWE.

Love the site, and plan to buy me some jerky very very soon. It's great that you can not only keep this up so often but not let the higher ups at the WWE prevent you from expressing your true feelings. And all the ridiculous rumor squashing doesn't hurt either!!

My question is about Val Venis. The poor guy can't seem to get a break. He's stuck doing Heat matches, loses fast when he appears on TV, and all his other TV appearances are as an extra! Just hanging around when they need a guy (like when HBK was ambushed a few weeks ago). He's a talented guy, great on the mic, and even used to be an Intercontinental Champ for crying out loud, and yet nothing major has come of him in years!! Do you think we'll ever see a day when he's in the spotlight again, at least the mid-card spotlight?

I've been fan of the WWE all my life, but my interest has faded since the brands were seperated. The rosters don't seem to be deep enough to support it. Also the storylines were given more time to develop. I dream of a day when WWE could become one Brand again. What do you think?
What's the good word JR!? Will we ever see Rey Mysterio on the RAW roster?
You've probably been asked this question before, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Is there any chance that Sting might get a dvd package, since WWE pretty much owns all of his early career footage? I still watch him on TNA and bought their dvd of him, but it left a lot to be desired for people that grew up watching him. I would love to see a Sting vs. Undertaker or Sting vs. The Rock match.
Hey JR i think up here in Minnesota that the jerseys for AD are already on sale but im not sure, as soon as i see one though im buying one thats for sure. Also im wondering what your opinion is about Sabu getting released, i think i heard why but it may be just a rumor like everything else on the internet. Thanks JR!
Hey J.R., Just so you know I think the smile shirt is HiLarious! The smiley has that serious J.R. look which cracks me up! If you have a prototype you'd like to get rid of I'd be happy to take it off your hands :) or is that :|
WE DEFINITELY need a shirt that says "Business is about to pick up!"
J.R., I just watched your Hall of Fame induction on WWE.COM. Let me just say this; if your character and passion for this business could be measured in wrestling ability, you'd be Ric Flair. Thanks to you, I am now changing my major, at 28 years of age, to communications. I want to be the next best the business has to offer. Thank you for coming to work on Monday's and being a "fan" with the rest of us. God Bless!! An OSU Fan!!
JR, how has Funaki manage to stay with WWE for so long? Everytime I hear of a release from WWE, I'm surprised Funaki is not in the list. Nothing against him, but he never wrestles on Smackdown. What is he doing that guys like Sabu and Vito aren't?
J.R. Hey I think this is so kind that you take time out of your busy schedule to do this blog! I was watching RAW last night and was so anxious to see how the match between Naitch & Carlito would be set up. After all the build up the last couple of months I really felt like creative dropped the ball last night. Naitch didn't appear until the end of Carlito's match and didn't even get a mike. I think last night if given the chance Ric could have talked a few people including me out of 40 bucks come Sunday night. I understand time constraints but didn't see the point in the length of the match without Ric getting involved or cutting a promo this close to the PPV. I have been a Flair fan since his heyday in the 80s and was so pumped at the push he was getting last year with the IC title run and all the great matches with it. I was just wondering if WWE is phasing Naitch out? I would love to see at least a few more great matches before he retires. Thanks for all the years J.R. & God Bless!
Hi JR! When will Shane be taking over Vince's old on air heel personality? I love Vince playing the current crazy guy, funny heel because it works well with his over-the-top personality. Shane too is a great heel but I see him as being more the serious, manipulative, yet cowardly heel he was back in the old days and not just a side kick. Whereas Vince can play both a great heel and a great babyface, Shane can really only play a heel. Why is he not used more in that role and kept on tv on a more consistant basis to build this character? He's definitely one of the funner guys to hate. Thanks!!!!
"This stinks Ross, it stinks" - Jesse Ventura Ross, Was Rick Rude training for a comeback before he passed away? wes st cloud, mn
JR, you need to realize that Bruno isn't as angry as much as he doesn’t care. Some people seem to think that your life isn’t fulfilled, your career isn’t complete unless WWE puts you in their HOF. Some fans might think that. But Bruno doesn’t. He is content with his life and career, so everyone needs to leave him alone!
Hey JR I left a comment about a WWE storyline idea on your last post and since it is entirely to long to write again I wondered if you could look at it on your last blog. :] And yes I would love it if you sold JR's Cookbooks signed by yourself! Thanks JR, and if you get the time check out my comment on your last blog.
J.R. don't knock weather on the 8's, besides if I don't enjoy a Raw/Smackdown segment I come here to cry about it.
Just wondering, this past Monday (5/14), you and the King were very "rough" with each other over the air. Almost if you two got into an arguement before the show. You and the King 99.9% of the time "mesh" well together. This was the .01%. Hope all is well? Scott - Jax, fl
Ah, Sonic! Excellent. I have long stretches where I'm there at least once a day. What's your drink from Sonic, then, JR?
What are your thoughts on Matt Hardy being a #1 contender against Edge? Do you think he's ready for the big dance??
Hey Mr. Ross! First want to say congrats on all your recent success! Keep going strong man as your certainly a legend in your own right! I just wondered if you could ask Jerry Lawler or if you know the answer already to the question of whether or not "The King" if he could, would want to start his own wrestling organization that's exclusively for Divas?? And could an all-ladies wrestling federation work in terms of success? Thanks.
Hi JR, please please please reply 2 this message if possible...when u used 2 do the play by play in the old nwa, early wcw days with terry funk as your broadcast partner, did it ever make it hard or annoying when terry always jumped in and started 2 call each move like a play by play man and interupt u? when he was supposed 2 be doing the analysing, plus where you encouraged in them days 2 mention that the "nwa wrestlers dont come out to rock n roll music, they just wrestle" i take it that was a dig at the wwf at the time, your the greatest announcer of all time JR keep up the great site!
J.R., Two points: 1)I mostly agree with the notion that 'men versus women' matches don't work, but I think Chyna was the exception to the rule. I think it belittled her to fight the women who she could easily manhandle. It was obvious that she could have beaten the Women's Champion in a blink. But, it made sense for her to fight the men, and in my opinion, she more than handled herself in the ring. 2) Do you have a favorite Eddie Guerrero moment (in the ring or out of the ring)?
Hello again JR. Always great to read your comments. I made a post about the World Title and NWA title a week or two ago, and now more drama from the NWA, as they have parted ways with TNA. That means that Kurt Angle is not recognized as NWA World Champ, since the NWA stripped Christian of the title prior to the TNA PPV. Is this the final nail in the coffin for the NWA namesake?
Hi Mr. Ross, Just wanted to say Thank You for taking the time to answer my question. Keep up the great work on your blogs! Take care, Chris
Hey JR. I was wondering if you were in a bad mood or mad at the king on Monday Night. You seemed like you were upset about something and argued with the king. Either way your are still great.
