J.R.'s Family Bar-B-Q

More Feedback..

"Let's get to your feedback you Bar-B-Q lovin' Knuckleheads." Chris- I agree that Goldberg and Hogan returning to the WWE would be most interesting and most likely stimulate ratings but it “ain’t going to happen”. It takes two to tango and they aren’t dancing these days. Not that there is any thing wrong with that. Jim- I ate at Abdullah’s House of Ribs and Chinese Food many years ago and enjoyed it a great deal. But there is only one J.R.’s…... JBates- The Austin DVD will be out in February of 2008, as I understand it. The Condemned DVD will be out in September. Jake- Jonathan Coachman is the “acting” General Manager I am told. Yes, I agree that Cena vs. Kennedy has a significant upside but to say it might be the next Rock vs. Austin is a tall order to fill. Wesley- I have never been to St. Cloud, Minnesota no matter what the cops may be saying up there. Adrian Peterson will help the Vikes this year IF he gets into camp on time. AD is a stallion who has a great future a head of him if he learns to run lower and avoid the contact that he seems to relish. That’s Coach Barry Switzer’s assessment as well and not merely my pigskin ramblings. In the name of former fullback Bill Brown’s flat top haircut, let it be done. Glen- Who is the most likely to wrestle again in the WWE, Austin, Rock, or Hogan? Officially I do not know, however, my educated guess would be Hogan. Will- Best Memphis Bar-B-Q? I really like the Cozy Corner, which was introduced to me by the King. Not Elvis, but Jerry, The King. Ricardo- Yes, John Cena is a legit good guy. But he will still get booed most likely the next time you see him on TV. Ty- I don’t know what the physical location of the proposed WWE Hall of Fame might be, but near their HQ in Stamford, CT wouldn’t surprise me. It won’t be in Norman, dang it. Steven L- I don’t hate the idea of the wrestling divas being on Raw and the Cruiserweights being on Smackdown, but I ain’t calling the plays. Stu- We slow smoke our brisket for hours, 8-10 hours, over low heat using hickory wood and that makes our sliced brisket and chopped brisket so good you can’t sit still and eat it. I mean it Stu. Kyle- HHH is slated to return in August perhaps even at SummerSlam, which would be great. He is missed on Raw. Anthony- I appreciate your comment regarding the hatchet job the Daily News did on yours truly. It P.O.ed me a thimble full but I didn’t get the limbertail. I have had worse things happen to me in my illustrious career and some of that media stuff just goes with the territory. Hopefully, the next time you decide to gut and quarter me on your site you will remember my misfortune and take pity on this aging Okie. Seriously, keep having fun…..that’s what we are supposed to be about in this whacky business. Chris- Will we ship our products including Jerky and caps, etc to Ohio? Oh, hell yeah! My thanks to your family for eating with us all the way from Ohio. Tony- “Inserts,” pre-recorded comments made by a wrestler while said wrestler was on their way to the ring, used to be a staple in the 80s. I am not sure why it isn’t used with any regularity any longer. Sometimes the business goes to great lengths to re-invent the wheel, so to speak, which makes little sense to me. No-Yes- I will absolutely watch Randy Savage on the Surreal Life. Mrs. J.R. loves that show and I have also enjoyed it on occasion as well. It’s the proverbial car crash one can’t take their eyes off. Richard- My thoughts on cruiserweights in the WWE? They are underutilized. Case closed. Ministry Hunter- I have tried to erase the 1996 J.R. rants from my memory and have no idea of what you speak regarding a Dr. Death and J.R. hostile takeover of the announce desk around 1999. Did that really happen? I thought all along it was just a poorly designed dream or the residual affects of one too many nickle beer nights at Northeastern State University back in the early 70s. Brad- I am pleased that your grilled chicken brushed with J.R.’s Bar-B-Q Sauce was a hit down there in Starkville. It also works well on burgers, pork chops, grilled salmon, and steak. I once met many of the Miss. State football assistant coaches here in Norman one spring and had a few cold beverages with them. I have great respect for Sylvester Croom, for the record. Travis- My thoughts on the Great Khali? He is an attraction, a head turner, and is very tall. Chad- I am told the next WWE date in OKC’s Ford Center will be in June 2008. No dates in my home market the entire year of 2007. Bummer. Jordan- Sorry I left out Wisconsin when talking about the Big 10, but I have not done my official college football blogs as of yet. Stay tuned my football friend. I do hear that Camp Randall Stadium is a helluva place to be on a football Saturday, nonetheless. Now, lighten up, Francis. Ryan- You or someone else will have to be more specific about yours truly leaving the announce table per your comment. I honestly don’t recall leaving my position, but I have blurted out a few bad words unfortunately, in the heat of battle. Chuck T.- Doak Walker was a great, college football, star running back for SMU in Dallas in the early 50’s. He was a teammate of Fritz Von Erich who was known as offensive lineman Jack Adkisson in those days. Lydia-Mae- As many viable improvements as can be made in the wrestling biz, I honestly feel our presidential candidates have many more important issues affecting many more citizens than debating pro wrestling. Let’s leave that to the real experts like Glen Beck and Nancy Grace…good night friend. Ian- If the Michael Vick debacle is true then Vick proves beyond a shadow of a doubt he is one dumb, formerly really rich human being. Athletes in every walk of sport and entertainment do some of the dumbest damned things these days that one can imagine, including in the wrestling business. Immaturity and the age of entitlement has not done these big money ball players any favors. Perhaps they won’t realize what they have until they lose it. I hope it is not true but the news media is now hammering the NFL which gives others a rest at least for the time being. Trent- I don’t think being in Hog Pen matches will get Henry Godwin to the WWE Hall of Fame, but that’s just my opinion. I have a photo of me after doing an interview in hog manure following a HHH vs. Godwin match at a PPV many years ago, and I was wearing overalls. It was really a lot of fun having hog manure thrown on me too Trent. You should try it with your pals. Blue- My late father was indeed J.D. Ross and he was Adair County Highway Department foreman for many years until his retirement. Dad died at only 64 and I think about him every day. He instilled many things in me including character, honesty and keeping my commitments. He was also the man who got me hooked on John Wayne movies. For the record, I am not an Oklahoma State “hater” whatsoever. I really don’t “hate” any team but rather would say I am simply a fan of the Oklahoma Sooners which is one of the reasons we moved to Norman a few years ago. We still own a farm in north Adair County, but I don’t get down there much. Dan W.- Thoughts on rookie Dan Rodman? Big, athletic, impressive body but very green. Not ready for prime time….yet. The T’Cha- I don’t know if King is a Justin Timberlake fan but I know that Justin is a King fan, growing up in Memphis, where Jerry is the ruler. Josh- I have to be honest with you Josh, we aren’t likely to have any tofu ribs in J.R.’s for you vegans. We do have big arse salads, green beans, cole slaw, Bar-B-Q beans, mac and cheese, fried okra, fried pickles, and jalapeno corn bread for starters. Will any of that work? Robert- I am very familiar with Clinton, Oklahoma high school football. The Red Tornados are one of the state’s most respected programs. I even remember former Clinton players, the Bell brothers. Come see us in Norman for the “Q”. Terry- How difficult was it being in charge of the WWE talent roster? If one was part marriage counselor, Psychologist, financial advisor, dean of boys, travel agent, contract negotiator, paymaster, baby sitter, recruiter, coach, mentor and father confessor it is a breeze. Seriously, that particular job is perhaps the most thankless job in the business. It was 24/7 seven days a week. Just ask the Mrs. Jamie- The next time you are in our place and I am there, please ask your server to have me come by your table. I try to make it by all the tables, but when we get really busy it often times gets challenging to make it by and see everyone without interrupting their meal. I love visiting with our fans, so at worst just come up to me and introduce yourself. I only bite our food, not our guests. Thanks for the business and for stopping by. Adam- I don’t know what the exact answer is for giving the wrestlers an “off season” but I agree that designated time off would be a good thing. I have some ideas on this matter and I think that there may be more than one right way to initiate a plan to give the wrestlers a break in their road schedule. Ric Flair has been off of TV due to having ear surgery and should be back soon. Thank you for visiting our site, be sure to visit our store and check out the new merchandise, keep sending in your feedback, and drop by and enjoy some DE-LICIOUS "Q" at J.R.'s! Boomer Sooner J.R.

hey jr. hows it going? first off i think your the best shall we say "voice" of wrestling. Now i was searching the internet the other day, and i saw something about an article/blog that you had wrote about Cena's dream match. so i clicked on it interested to see with who. and come to find out it was my favorite wrestler in the whole world...the most electrifying man in sports entertainment...none other than THE ROCK. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? John Cena vs The Rock. john cena is the WORST wrester i have ever seen!!!! (i grew up, well i was in junior high during the best time in wrestling history the, attitude era. and i'm glad i got to experiance it first hand. so maybe i tend to compare too much of today's wrestling with then.) but your are kidding...haha jr your a jokester... cena has 5 moves top. you know that's true. he probably would of been a star in the 80's, so maybe a dream match would be with the ultimate warrior or macho man. wait wait did i just say that. they may of have the move list of todays john cena but they were stars in their own right, down right superstars, nothing of which vince wants slash writes for cena to be. A cena dream match, of the century. should be Gillberg vs john cena (when gillberg was still a jobber). that's my cena rant. i simply dont like the man. how come all his fans are girls or little boys/kids? because their to naive to know any different. and last but not least, how come all the wrong talent get major pushes and the "real" superstars of the future get sent to heat or ovw??? Here's some names i think should be on top, all of these people have way more skill than cena, but may lack mic skills, does that really matter i think not because cena cant talk either. ok... shelton benjamin, cryme time, (how come their push lasted like 2 weeks), i cant think of much right now but anyone on the roster is a better wrester/entertainer than cena. i stopped watching wrestling when everyone left. not because i didn't like it anymore but because of cena's push. the only reason i started watching again because i heard the never ending rumor that the rock was coming back. which i found out not to be true and sadly probably never will be. so i just started to watch because of my current fav wrestler...Randy Orton. and also because i heard that triple h wants him to take the title from cena so that he in turn can just take it from orton. which is cool i guess. i'd definently watch if cena was not champ. recently i've gotten into TNA just because i got sick and tired of wwe bs. its like their not even trying. vince russo story lines may of been outrages at times but it kept you on your toes. today its a 99.9% chance that the champ will retain their title in WWE. its all too predictable these days vince mcmahon needs some help. he gots plenty of talent but seem to shove the worst of them down our throats. TNA isnt all that great either, their shows could be entertaining but they all seem to rushed and when there's in ring interviews the crowd reaction isnt even realistic. but most likely its because of its 1 hour timeslot. i'm hoping it'll get alot better when they add their second hour. then maybe in the future when they become a threat vince will try once again to make his product like it was when it was wwf vs wcw. well here's to the WWF......RIP. how come wwf got gay slash boring when the "E" replaced the "F"??????????????????/
Hey, J.R. I was curious if you could see the WWE brining other titles into the fold in the forseeable future. Perhaps like a Television title?
Hey JR, Why isn't Terry Funk in the hall of fame yet? Do you think he will ever be in it? Also Jerry Lynn? I read that the wwe was interested in Nigel McGuinness of the ring of honor is that true? If So what do you think of him? I have seen him and he is very talented but he is in a contract with the ring of honor! What do You think of the Ring Of Honor Talent? I have seen there pay perviews and I think that they can compete with the wwe's 1s. What brad with Keith Walker, Ace Steal who will be known as Chris Guy and Colt Cabana be on? I think they they should be on ecw brand. They all know C.M. Punk as I do to. He is my uncles friend and I knew before the wwe signed him that he will be a big star someday. What do you think of C.M. Punk? Do you think that he can be an ecw champion someday? Do you think that he should be a heel or a face? Why do you guys in the wwe bard the Pepsi Plung? Is it because it is a copy cat off the pedergry? Well it is 1 and Punk has done it for a while He should be able to use his than since HHH isn't on ecw and Punk is on ecw. I'm happy that Punk isn't on raw!!!!!
Mister Ross, I'm 16, and I want to become a prowrestler. Do you have any advice on the best School i can go to? I've been a fan of wrestling since I was born, and there is nothing I would rather do with my life than entertain ppl the way I have been for as long as i can remember. I know you're an important and buisy man, but any advice would be graciously recieved. Thank you for your time, Larry Crowder
JR, My name is Matt Rotonda, I play basketball at Ocean County College in Toms River, NJ. I have been an avid WWE fan since the Royal Rumble of 1991, I was only 3. I have in excess of 100 pay-per-view events and countless Television airings recorded on VHS, almost every action figure from the 90's, the video games, DVD's, the whole bit. I also must say that I have become an even bigger fan of the business itself, aside from the product, through watching certain behind-the-scenes productions like the Monday Night War DVD, and the now defunct Confidential. I'd like to tell you that I am in agreement with Stone Cold's induction speech comments regarding your superb announcing, I think that some people just have a knack for it, I've been told I am one of them, and did a little Public Address announcing last year at York College of Pennsylvania. Secondly, I recently purchased and enjoyed the WWE's most powerful families of wrestling DVD. I was wondering if I could get your thoughts regarding how successful Dustin Rhodes' WWE career was, as most second-generation guys in the business seem to be decent in-ring performers, but lack what their fathers had. I mean, the company must have felt that he could hold a decent spot on the card, they did give him the Intercontinental Championship on two occassions, whether that decision was made because of the controversial nature of his character, I guess only the guys on the creative team at that time would know that. Your take? Thanks
Hey J.R. First off, your bbq sauce is the bomb! But this is a legit question/concern: Owen Hart. When will we see an induction to the WWE HOF and a dvd about his life? Thanks so much, and love you on RAW, never miss a show! Jason
give kane a push and crown him world heavy weight champ, why randy orton and not jeff hardy
great site! I was wondering if you could tell us about your first time IN a match...maybe even some old ref-ing stories. Thanks! Keep up the good work! Rusty
What are you referring to when you say lighten up Francis? Thanks for blogging so often and keep up the good honest work, good luck with the future of the resteraunt. Richie
Hey J.R. I was wondering what your real thoughts are on Candice Michelle. I hear you talk her up a lot at events put i was just wondering if you really feel that way about her or not? Personal I Think she is trying really hard, and has come such a long way from where she was in 2005 and really does deserve the gold.
At this moment I would like to see a WWE Championship match at the grandest stage of 'em all, Wrestlemania, between John Cena and The Undertaker. any true wrestling fan would pay top dollar to see that, and the ratings would be through the roof. i realise that there is a lot of red tape would be involved i.e. "undertaker being injured/ as well as being on the Smackdown roster, and they both being fan favourites......etc. but it would be a match to remember, so wat r the chances of that match taking place?? huh??
JR, do you foresee a huge WCW One Night Stand show or some type of "Best of WCW" DVD coming out soon? I feel as if a spot in my heart is wearing away for wrestling because my explosive Monday Nitro nights are gone....
Mr. Ross, At Summerslam, John Cena faces Randy Orton for the WWE Title. How about if John Cena faced Orton and HHH in a I-Quit elimination Hell in the Cell Match for the WWE Title at Summerslam. If it happened fans would get the first ever Summerslam Hell in the Cell Match and the first ever I-Quit elimination match. That means you are guaranteed two wrestlers saying I Quit in the same match. What are the chances of such a match ever happening.
Hey JR! Long time no comment! LOL! I was watching No Way Out 2000 w/Cactus Jack VS Triple H. This was one of my top five Triple H matches of all time, as I am a huge Trips fan. Was it known that Mick was gonna go through the cell? It looked as though the camera crew knew as they zoomed out for that shot. How is it that there is no mention of this match on commentary or listed on dvd? I've only heard you refer to this match a couple times when there's a hell in a cell match in the works for a pay per view. It's as though people behind the scenes want to keep it quiet. I know you've referred to the Foley Taker HIAC plenty of times.
i would like to see michele mccool on raw and the womens championship defened on 3 brands instead of raw
I'm getting excited for the release of the World Class DVD. I wanted to know if there was any other promotions that you would like to see as a future WWE DVD release? I would like to see UWF/Midsouth Wrestling, Crockett Promotions/NWA, Memphis Wrestling(CWA, USWA).
Hello! Im a big wrestling fan, and i always read your blog, but i´ve never decided to write on it. Im from Spain, and you can be sure if one day, im going to US, i´ll go to your restaurant. I´ve been reading the news since here, feeling really happy for you. Im sure it´ll go great. My comment or question is about the WHC. I´ve always loved the character of Kane, since his debut in 1997. The litle things i´ve read about Glen makes me think he´s a very nice guy and it makes me even a bigger fan. Anyway, im upset about how things are going now. I wasnt expecting to see Kane winning at GAB, but after reading last SD spoilers, it looks like he´s once again far from the main event, far from getting a title shot while Batista isnt. I´d like to know, really, if this is a Glen´s decission (i´ve heard many times he didnt want a title show, but none has showed me actually any interview where i can read it ny myself) or wwe considers Batista as a better option. Im one of these fans who believe Kane has always deserved much more than he has got, and i´d love to see him as Champ once again. If Glen is okay with his situation, i´d respect totally his choice, and i guess i would admire even more for that. The wortst, is the feeling that wwe is never giving Kane a chance. Sorry if there´s any gramatical mistake and the long post. Thanks for the blog
I think im done watching wwe programing, I just think wwe doesnt really offer me anything exciting no high flying moves no cruiserweight division, no good tag team wrestling, and finally a wwe champion who cant seem to distingush himself from a rapper or a marine and every time a new world champion is crowned he gets injured i know you cant fix any of those things, and you''ll probably tell me to shut up and if i dont like it change the channell who cares about what one fan thinks which is true so i think i will change the channel to spike or maybe fox in the fall to watch tna wrestling atleast ill get what i want out of wrestling . and not the same old crap. good luck on your resturant wish one would come to texas or you would start selling your barbe1ue sauce at wal-mart or something.
Where is Sid Eudy nowadays and can you share us some of your memories of him from your WCW days and mid 90's in the WWE? Is there a possibility of him resurfacing in the WWE some day?
Any word on Roddy Piper's proposed They Live TV series? I know he met with J. Carpenter recently about it...
Have you spoke to Roddy Piper lately? Any updates on his They Live TV series? I know he was meeting with John Carpenter about it recently. Thanks for being a great commentator!!!
Hey JR was just watching a classic Raw moment when the Rock returns in 2003 in Anaheim to help Mick Foley and the buzz off the crowd was just electrifying. I've never been to a live event but even the buzz at home during these sort of moments is unbeleivable. My question was do you think in any other form of sports or entertainment you can beat that raw emotion. I've never found anything in my life that replaces that some people might think that sounds sad but i beleive it. Also was just curious at survivour series in 97 was Vince originally suposed to be on commentry and was that when you officially became the lead announcer in the company? Your the best take care and god bless
When you are watching Surreal Life, will you hope for the Macho King to prevail?
James Michael, almost all of the thought provoking questions found in the feedback of any given blog on the website will be, rest assured, completely ignored in favor of the totally softball questions and the suck up comments.
Hey JR, With the opening of your restaurant, I'm surprised that you still have the time for this blog site. Thanks for the great work and the updates. I have a question some of the former divas. Do you know what Trish, Lita, Molly, Jazz, and Sable are doing these days? The first 3 are my favorites and I think Jazz could have been something great, but never seemed to go anywhere. Also, Kane seems to be on an unbelieveable losing streak of late and it seems to me and some of my friends who are all kane and undertaker fans that maybe Kane should take a page out of the Undertaker's book and mysteriously disappear for a short time and then come back in the mask and have a huge push again. Wow that was really wordy, but we'd all love to see Kane as a champion again and let him put the fear of Kane back into some of the talent on smackdown. Anyway, keep up the good work. It's always fun to catch up on your blogs on my days off.
I ask you this question with hope of an honest answer. What are the chances of the Beverly Brothers returning to the WWE for a final run, possibly accompanied by Lanny Poffo? Bloom and Enos deserve a final run. Also, with WCW femme fatale Gorgeous George in the news recently with her husband's band "Gorgeous Frankenstein" coming to light, is there any chance we may see her in WWE?????
I saw a DVD entitled "Macho Madness: The Randy Savage Story" featured on WWE.com as an option in a poll last week. Any hope on this DVD actually getting made and fast-tracked?
How do you feel about a special Patriotic Prime Time show next July 4? I think this should be done, as it will be the 15 year anniversary since the heroic Lex Luger slammed Yokozuna on the USS Intrepid. Also, the Hart Foundation flag match and the Hogan/Slaughter war could be featured on such a program.
Did you see this on 1wrestling.com? Savage said some brutal stuff to Triple H. Jerry: What about the situation with Triple H and Stephanie? Is there any validity to reports online? Macho Man: At one time brother, Triple H, I thought, was a really really cool, person. But now, I just wanna bitch slap him. He is very disrespectful. He had called me a dinosaur in this wrestling business. Well you know what? Years ago, this dinosaur called that idiot out and he never answered my open challenge. Now I hear he is getting over an injury. Hell I may be a dinosaur, but he needs to watch what he says. He shouldn't be the one to call names out on people when he knows damn well his time is limited in the ring. His brand value in years will go down big time because he won't be on tv each week as before. Then he'll soon have people backstage calling him the dinosaur and see how he likes it. That punk @$$.
Hey JR! hope all is doing well, just something thats been on my mind. Now don't take this the wrong way, infact, I may be totally wrong or misinformed. Now call me crazy...but it seems to me you may (again I could be wrong) be a conasewer so to speak of BBQ Grilling. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But many things have lead me to believe that you are infact a fan of BBQ grilling. Is this true?
Has there been any developments to the story of Heartland star Treat Williams making a WWE cameo? I saw "Substitute 2: School's Out" on the other night on HBO, and I witnessed him execute several "rolling attacks" and assaults on an evil schoolteacher and his gang of thugs. I think it would be a mutually beneficial short term partnership for both Treat and WWE...
I wants psycho sid 2 come bk hes cool
Is there a specific reason Lex Luger is not being offered a WWE Legends deal? I think it is well deserved. He was sorely missed from the Four Horsemen DVD, and has been going through some rough times. So rough, in fact, that he is living on a mattress on the floor of his pastor's apartment. Still holding onto his bulging biceps and love for wrestling, I don't see why Lex can't be a promising on-air character for WWE. Anyone remember the Lex Express tour? It had many more ecstatic kids cheering, flexing, and donning the American colors than the Kurt Angle USA face gimmick did. The small bit of popularity the face Angle drew caused WWE to basically condemn him to being a perennial heel until his TNA jump. I say give the Total Package a chance to come home to where his fans mainly remember him from. His epic battles with Yokozuna and Mr. Perfect cannot be touched. It is time for someone to refuel the Lex Express, and drive it straight to Stamford, CT. Lex Luger is not someone who should be tossed to the proverbial "WWE curb"...but someone who needs to be welcomed back into the WWE family who loved him with open arms. How can Vince honestly watch his biggest star from 1993-1994, his biggest money maker and draw in that period, lay to waste after a battle with drugs and emotional distress and not open his arms to him? Give the newly reborn Christian one more chance. I mean, how many chances have Sean Waltman and Jeff Hardy been given when it comes to drug-related issues?
Why isn't Gene Okerlund being used in a more prominent role? No matter his age, he makes Todd Grisham and the other crackpot rookies look like bums. He should be doing the backstage interviews. Him and Finkel are definitely the 'golden trademark voices' of WWF/E, and should be used wisely and to the company's advantage. The biggest shame is that WCW icon Tony Schiavone has not been extended a lucrative WWE offer...
Is there any special reason that ECW alumni Shane Douglas, Perry Saturn, Gorgeous George (blonde ECW vixen), and New Jack have been left out of all ECW renunions/Tuesday night programming? I find it kind of odd TNA diva Trinity made her way to ECW, while George didn't. How can John Morrison be considered an extreme champ when he never threw fists with New Jack? Any thoughts?
I truthfully believe the most beautiful wrestling babe ever is Gorgeous George of WCW fame. Is there any chance of seeing this blonde beauty showing up on WWE Raw or Smackdown television? I would love to see her serve up Melina a fresh can of whoop-@$$!!!
Hey J.R, Haven't commented here in a while so thought I'd ask a question. When is Rey Mysterio going to return I know that he was at the shows in mexico and I have seen footage of it myself but apparently he only did a dark match for smackdown? When is he going to come back on T.V?
I remember reading at one point that former WCW diva Stephanie Bellars ("Gorgeous George Frankenstein") was almost a part of WWE in 1999/2000. I understand she was visiting Molly Holly at a taping, and WWE brass asked her to confront Chyna in an impromptu angle and declined. Any truth to the words that this beautiful and talented diva was a possible WWE entrant? Also, is there any chance that you see of her becoming a WWE Diva? Thanks Jim, and have a great day! Best of luck with the restaurant!
Hey J.R. Let my tell you first off, that you are truly one of my heroes of wrestling. Your passion for the business and respect are what makes every Monday night special, because i know that just like us your a fan as well. I was just curious, in your opinion “if” (and when) Chris Jericho returns to the WWE, do you think that he will have a spot with “WWE Films” with the likes of Kane, John Cena, And Steve Austin? To me he is one of the top candidates, not just because he is my favorite superstar, but because his charisma and ability is unmatched. Also, a quickie…it may not be up your ally, but have you ever heard Chris’s Band Fozzy? They are honestly one of my favorite bands. if you have, what do you think of them? Thanks J.R. Keep up everything you do, trust me, you are appreciated.
JR, In you humble opinion where does “The Little Bastard” Hornswoggle rank among the greats who have held the Cruiserweight Championship of the World, a title who’s lineage goes back to ultra competitive and dynamic cruiserweight landscape showcased by WCW in the late 90’s. Does the name Hornswoggle belong alongside other technical greats to hold said title?...greats such as Rey Mysterio Jr., Den Malenko, Eddie & Chavo Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, Shane/Gregory Helms, The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Iaukea, “Above Average” Mike Sanders and of course Ed Farrera as Oklahoma.
has the purposed DVD project "Macho Madness: The Randy Savage Story" been 'green lighted' yet? its what the people want to see.
J.R.! Will be in Norman passing through to get somewhere just wanted to let you know that your spot was the only reason I wanted to be in norman in the first place and I am looking forward to eating there! What do you think about the SEC this year and do you think that our Game****s( Ass Kickin Chicken's) Have a chance to win the SEC East this year? I Know that we are long over due only winning a ACC title in the 50's. I got one more question. Why does WWE tape SNME on monday with Raw? It looks wierd. Just the whole set just dont look right.
Hey JR, I was just wondering what your personal opinion was on segments like the Hardys/Candice/Ron Simmons bit at The Great American Bash where it almost felt more like a sitcom rather than a wrestling show. I found the segment funny, though. But, I don't know. This isn't the first time the WWE have done segments like these (with actual background music and special effects). What do you think of them?
J.R Was just wondering what your opinion was of Christian Cage? I was always a big fan of his while he was with WWE, and always thought he was one of the most underrated superstars on the roster. Now in TNA he's not only proved to be a definite main eventer, but also for my money the best heel in the business at present and also (again in my opinion) the best all round performer in wrestling today. Was just wondering your thoughts regarding Christian and whether there could be a possible WWE return in the future? Cheers J.R, keep up the good work!!!
What does Boyd Pierce from the WCCW look like now and where is he living at. My wife saw someone in Burleson, TX who knew a lot about the Von Erichs and WCCW and WCW and I was wondering if it was him. He was an older man, heavy set with a beard I do believe. Thank you for your time JR. Dusty
will the wwe bring back DX once hbk and hhh are back from injury? and do u think undertaker will get a 6th title reign considering he had to giv it up cuz of injury and what about ric flair will he be a 17 time world champ
J.R, As wwe now has the talent of cm punk, Ace steel and colt cabana, is there any chance that the WWE will be allowed to use them as a tag trio once cabana and steel get the promotion that im hanging for or will there be legal battles as they were a team in another company?? Thanks :)
First off, I am doing all I can (in college at Alabama) to become an writer assistant at WWE. (P.S.- Not asking for favors, just giving some backstory). Anyway, since you have connections to some prominent people at OU, could you ask them to renew a home and home with us (Alabama). You were lucky to get that one in Tuscaloosa several years ago. That game was my first one as a student and it was awesome. Maybe one day, if lucky, you and I can, in person, discuss that fake punt pass.
Hey JR! I don't know if this is a dumb question but why doesn't Cena turn into a heel already? I always thought he was a great bad guy (and very convincing) in the early goings of his WEE career. I've actually been expecting for that to happen for quite some time now. When people seem to be booing as it is, I'm sure it would be a great angle to utilize all that.
Hey JR I read list this's latest list and I must say that I don't agree with it. I would like to ask if you agree with it or not and if not could you come up of a list of the ten most extream matches. I will give mine here. Please note that its not limited to just in WWE or ECW 10. Ladder Match. 9. Ultimate X. 8. Frist Blood. 7. Steal Cage. 6. TLC. 5. I quit. 4. Last Man Standing. 3. Elimation Chamber. 2. Hell In a Cell. 1. Barb Wire Massacre aka Barb Wire rope match.
