Greetings from under the black, 200X Resistol hat from your resident Sooner, who is knee-deep in “Q” and preparing for a trip to the desert for Tucson, Ariz.’s Monday Night Raw. (Would that be the “A” show, the No. 1 show, the flagship show, or the simply “the show up and go to work show”?) This week’s royal panel consisting of Jerry “The King” Lawler, King Boo-kah, King Cobra, Moondog King, King Harley Race, King Kong Bundy, the most recent King of Extreme, and Sgt. Preston of the Yukon’s trusty, husky “King” has selected the WWE’s “most beautiful male wrestler” (his words not mine), Randy Orton, as Raw Superstar of the Week. Instead of the usual gifts from J.R.’s Family Bar-B-Q Restaurant and lovely parting gifts, young Randall will receive a gift certificate for a free facial and a manicure from his favorite salon in his hometown of St. Louis. Hey J R, Congrats, on the restaurant. I hope to sample the menu personally, some day soon. If I may, I would like to address Vince McMahon's planned return, to Raw tonight. To see Vince on camera, is pure poison. One reason, is that, we all saw, "Mr." McMahon "explode." How will he explain this one? Perhaps "Mr." McMahon's evil twin to exact revenge? Vince is the good side, of "Mr." McMahon. Think of him, this way: Ebeneezer Scrooge, before the change. What do you think? I do not think very much, of WWE's decision, to ban the very mention, of Chris Bemoit's name, since the Benoit Tragedy. What is Vince hiding? I am not convinced, that Benoit is guilty.

Just would like to stop by and say Hello. You and I know alot of people in the Wrestling biz and also are Big OU SOONER fans. I have been trained by Harley Race and have had the pleasure of knowing the whole Hart Family (I trained in the Dungeon Also) Bruce and Ross and I sat in the kitchen many mornings listening to Stu talk about the Ol' wrestling days gone Promoters such as Sam Avey and so forth he also showed me a few things (for a man his age he had some strength let me tell ya.) Me and my son met up with you at the Middle Ten. game, that was the moment for my son. to met JR and to be at an OU football game. I am now attending college now here at Northeastern State University. I work at the NSU Fitness Center and guess what? my boss is one of your good friends who Ref'd with you back in the day. Ron Cox ..does that name ring a bell ? He had some good things to say about you. I am hoping to eat at your place very soon and I hope we can met up with each other agin at another Good Ol' SOONER Game. Oh yes and one more thing before I go ...Tell ol' Trevor Murdoch that a good friend and traveling buddy say's Hey and get ahold of me sometime so we can catch up. This world is sure a very small place ...isn't it?

Hey JR: I'm really disappointed with what is going on in the WWE these days and have to agree with Maria's new boyfriend Oh guess i should watch out or the ref, might have Umaga beat me up too. One other thing Do we all really want Randy Orton to be the next WWE Champ, I think not please! So what he was the youngest WWE champ however many years ago and only for one month, Now we're going to praise some guy who gets off on kicking old peoples heads off and young first timers Please has he beaten anyone worth beating like Lashley, batista, Cena, real Champs. as for the person who is bored of the same champ for two years. It seems to me Cena is one of the best honest and funnest Champs of all times it took him that long just to get peoples respect and fought and beaten people like Lashley, HHH, the show stopper HBK, Khali, twice, Umaga Twice, Edge a few times, Etc... Etc... We should act like he has no right to be a Champ for that long, and everyone whats A Champ that beats old people up I think not. If John Cena has to lose the title God please let him lose to someone like Triple H, Lashley, even dare I say Mr. Kennedy would be better than a two bit disrespectful old lendgey beater Randy Orton. Let the guy defeat real fighters before he has the right to be a Champ, Randy Orton is not one of the all time great young talents of WWE. He is what the great American Dreamer said he was a few weeks ago. And for Jonathan Coachman Oh he needs to stop trying to be a Vince clone. The matches he makes well i wouldn't even go there, What was it he said once to Edge Vince doesn't like matches that are predictable, so far every match Randy Orton has had was exactly that PREDICTABLE. We know he would win the matches than kick in the old persons head, So put that in your hat and smoke it Coachman!!!!!!! Coachman try being your own kind of man dude. Hey JR. I too like the old school stuff, I was going thru some old need I say "VHS Tapes" and I was watching some stuff with the Four Horsemen, battling with Dusty, Nikita and the Road Warriors, I miss the build up that they used to have with all these events, it made me think who would Dusty get for a partner one week and the next would be I wonder who the Four Horseman are going to jump this week. I guess my question is do you think the WWE will bring that into their TV shows, it would definitely make things a lot more interesting?

Hey, JR. It seems i've posted this in an entry a month old, sorry. I was wondering if you knew anything about the Hart family allowing the WWE to use Owen for certain things, such as a biography & match style DVD, or even a Hall of Fame induction. This is not to speculate if he will be in next year or not, but just to clear up if he isn’t being (hate to say it) “held back” by some members of his family. Thanks.

Why was the WCW/ECW Invasion angle sabatoged on purpose? I mean after all these years I tried to give the WWE the benefit of the doubt but with all I'm hearing on CREDIBLE wrestling news sites (and yes there's only about 1 or 2), it just seems way to hard to believe that the WWE could "accidently" destroy what should have been a multi-million dollar making angle? I mean for starters the first WCW match on televsion featured Buff Bagwell. A huge part of WCW was DDP and DDP's first appearane was getting squashed by the Undertaker -- and later his wife. I know you were never the booker, and I hate being one of these bitter fans -- because I'm usually not, but at the time everything just seems to point in the direction that all Vince wanted to do was make WCW look foolish, even at the expense of millions of dollars. Was the Invasion angle was never meant to be taken serious? Was it truly just to stroke Vince's ego? Was it because Vince was too interested in the XFL -- which even you have to admit was a disaster and should've humbled Vince -- to pick major player's contracts? What the hell happened to what was supposed to be the biggest angle in WWE history?

when will vince let the wargames in the wwe? I think it would be huge PPV match & money maker. I know I am not the only fan that would love to see this match on a WWE PPV. I know the hell in a cell & the chamber matches are great to but, the wargames was the original or old school if you will.

Greetings, J.R.:I’m enjoying WWE from Argentina, since in my country there are not any good wrestling corporations. Anyway, I have a few questions for RAW’s main commentator. I have saw something on Chris Jericho coming back to WWE some time this year. Know anything? Do you think that completely borrowing Chris Benoit of the history books is right? I mean, the guy should be a Hall of Famer, for what he has done in the business, don’t you think? And the last one: The Undertaker. Do you think he’ll become a world champion again, maybe more than once? I mean, after what we saw at The Great American Bash, neither Kane (Who was close ant Wrestlemania this year) or Batista (Who seemed to have a chance) seem to be able to defeat him. But the Undertaker already has, twice (That Last Man Standing last year and this year’s Royal Rumble). So maybe we’ll have to wait until the Phenom’s return to have a new World Heavyweight Champion. I've been wondering something for some time, and this article reminded of it. I hope you can answer this. Back when you had to leave for surgery (By the way, thank God you were able to get through all of that as I know from experience it isn't fun), were you willingly working with the WWE's choice of a story line? Or, did you get pushed into something that would explain the leave? I'm not a fan of big corporations because I'm from small town Arkansas. We see nothing but revenue from good crops and hard work, so I just kind of wanted to scratch this itch. I love you like a brother and hope you are able to stick around another 20 years in that same chair. Take care of yourself. Thomas

Great to meet you tonight J.R. Actually second time but the first time I had the chance to eat at your fine establishment. Drove over from Tuttle just to try it out. The food is outstanding and everyone should go there when and if they ever get the opportunity. Randy Orton has not always been a favorite of mine but has really started to entertain me as of late. He has to be one the most over heels and a long time. My question is, does it come way too natural for him to be such an arrogant.. you know what?

Jokes aside, you have to admit, JR, that Randy is possibly one of the best young talents ever to grace the WWE. Personally, I think he is very entertaining; and potentially, one of the all time greats. I have a great deal of respect for people like Randy, Edge and Mc-Vince; who don't let their egos transcend their desire to entertain. My question is: how much do you know him (Randy), as a person; and, how driven is he face-to-face when you, no-doubt, have talked to him behind the scenes?

J.R, don’t you sometimes get bored of seeing john cena as WWE Champion? He has been champion since wrestlemania 21 and even when he loses the belt he is always still the number 1 contender for the belt and he always regains it. I just think its a little boring seeing the same champion for over 2 years. What do you think?

Hey JR! =) Not sure if you've ever answered this question before but... Pro wrestling has always been popular but back in the 90’s (attitude era) it was on top of the world. What do you think what caused pro wrestling to slowly move away from the mainstream spotlight? Do you think the fall of WCW and ECW affected it? Also do you think the WWE has the next “Hulk Hogan”, “Stone Cold” or “The Rock” in there current roster of young wrestlers?
