C. Rodgers- The Undertaker is THE man without question, and the fact that he wrestles on a network television show, Smackdown, doesn’t make Taker’s status any less. I personally believe that Monday Night Raw is the WWE’s flagship program, not because I am on it for goodness sakes, but because of its tenure on the air and the fact that more PPV’s are successfully promoted off of cable than off of network TV. With all that said, The Undertaker being one of the cornerstones of Friday Night Smackdown is a good thing for their brand and WWE in general. You indicated you enjoy Smackdown better than Raw, so what’s your issue? I too enjoy Smackdown a great deal, as they usually feature more actual in ring wrestling than Monday Night Raw. Joseph- If I had an opportunity to step in the ring for 5 minutes with anyone I have crossed paths with over my career it would most likely be Stone Cold and we would have a few cold ones together. Or Trish Stratus if it were a “closed workout”… (: Nonetheless, no violence, thank you very much. Matt- The ECW brand is not going up in flames. Sci Fi has renewed the TV contract of the show and if one studies closely the ratings that ECW delivers to Sci Fi based on the other Sci Fi shows, one can see that ECW is an evolving asset to the cable network. When some of the ECW talents “get hot,” which will happen in time, then the Tuesday night show will indeed be considered much more “must see TV” than perhaps some perceive it to be now. ACE- I assume the WWE will return to Japan at some point in time, as Japan has always been a great host for WWE events. The WWE’s international growth is fascinating and will continue to grow as their TV’s in international territories matures and builds audiences. To my knowledge, the WWE has no affiliation with any Japanese wrestling office. SteC- I can’t tell you how the ride from Manchester down to Birmingham was, as I was sound asleep in the back seat of the car. I do know that it didn’t take us too long, as we seemed to motor along quite quickly. Lisa- Whoever wrote that a “modified” move actually means a “blotched move” doesn’t know what they are speaking about. GEO- I do not know the whereabouts of Kristal, as it’s not my day to watch after her. I have no idea if she is through with the biz or plans on trying it again. Gregory- I enjoy watching TV Poker and feel that I could broadcast a Poker event with no problems. I play occasionally with friends, but my free time is so limited that I don’t play as often as I would like to, as in a “weekly home game.” Playing with the pros might be fun, but to donate my cash to them, just to be able to sit with them at a poker table isn’t my idea of a great time. Nick- Teddy Hart has had about 3 chances to stick with the WWE, as I recall. Whether or not he gets yet another chance isn’t my call. At some point, however, all involved in the process have to realize that some things just aren’t meant to be. Jake- I always look forward to visiting Cincy and am a big fan of the Montgomery Inn and Skyline Chili. One of my best friends, Kevin Wilson, who coaches at OU and formerly coached at Miami of Ohio, has Skyline Chili shipped to his house! That’s dedication. OU vs. the Bearcats will be at great series for both schools. Plus, my old pal Les Thatcher lives in the Cincy area and Les is a credit to the biz. Jorden- I do not have access nor do I seek access to the “WWE’s radar” as to who they are scouting or not. I also am not familiar with Larry Sweeney. If Larry doesn’t wrestle on Raw, play football, or eat at J.R.’s, he most likely, in all due respect, isn’t on my “radar.” However, one has to assume that the WWE is scouting the ROH on a regular basis. Why wouldn’t they be?? It makes sense for the WWE to thoroughly understand what is going on in the Ring of Honor. Bob- OU has to win out to even have a chance of playing for the National Title this college football season. It looks as if Ohio State and LSU have a great opportunity to play for the big prize on January 7 in New Orleans, but Ohio State must essentially run the table and beating Penn State in Happy Valley is no down at the beach nor is beating Michigan at the Big House. Tough days are still ahead for the Buckeyes. LSU can’t afford another loss and must win the SEC to get to the Promised Land. There is lots of great college football left to play with essentially nothing guaranteed for any team. Adam- Shouldn’t we assume that Penn State tailback Austin Scott, accused of rape, is innocent until proven guilty? Tom- Yes, the lovely and talented Lilian Garcia is single. Her new CD has some great stuff on it but I don’t know if it will be the commercial success it deserves to be. I will be appearing with Lilian on October 30 in Orlando promoting Wrestlemania. Jess- I have no idea what sort of work load HBK will attempt to maintain in the WWE but less than an absolute full time schedule would not surprise me at this stage of his career and considering Shawn’s list of injuries. Doesn’t the arena in Melbourne have a list of the WWE Superstars that will be appearing on their website elsewhere? Many times fans simply need to call their arena to get the info they seek regarding who is appearing on a specific card. James- With a new athletic director at the University of Arkansas, I would suggest that head football coach Houston Nutt’s days are numbered. I do think Nutt is a good man and a fine coach but he has seemingly alienated many Hog fans and supporters for whatever reasons. Disgruntled parents of Hog football players served as a source of embarrassment for the many Razorback fans that demonstrate class and support U of A athletics. James- Most wrestlers don’t care if they are cheered or booed as long as there is a backside every 18 inches (the standard width of an arena seat.) Empty seats equate to less cash. Jeremy- I have no issues with there being a female commentator on any wrestling TV show as long as she is qualified, talented, and is a fan of the product. Today’s fans won’t settle for just anyone, male or female, handling a broadcast especially if the more educated, hard core fans denote that a commentator isn’t up to speed and is filling the job simply because of youth and their “look”. I am sure that some day a woman will handle play by play on a WWE broadcast. No issues with me on that one. Brad- the NFL will likely continue to do what they can to establish a fan base in Canada just as they are in other countries outside the USA. That’s simply good marketing. Buffalo is looking to play a game in Toronto next season which makes sense on several fronts not the least being that Toronto is a helluva city. Canadian fans are passionate and that has to attract any entity such as the NFL or the WWE. Andy the Bitter Hurricane Fan-I would love to personally see Sting have a productive and profitable “run” in the WWE before he hangs up his wrestling boots, but that is simply one man’s opinion. Will it happen? Only Sting can truly answer that question and no one else. OU “running the score up” on your Canes, is a result of your Canes’ defense or lack thereof, on that particular day. Coach Stoops is not one to pile it on plus you can get even when OU travels to Miami for the return game. Don- When we get to the franchising aspect of building J.R.’s Family Bar-B-Q brand, all the food will be prepared with the same techniques and with the same recipes as we use here in Norman. Let’s hope those franchising dreams become a reality in the next 3-5 years. Pete- I have no memory of meeting any one named John Southern at the Hyatt during WM 23. Perhaps I had too much “fun” with Austin and company at the hotel bar as several of my friends were there and I do remember that we may have over indulged. Carlos- To compare any other company’s wrestling PPV’s to Wrestlemania is ill advised and downright silly. If you are trying to get a cheap plug for TNA, then there it is, but to compare any wrestling PPV to Wrestlemania is a stretch, at best. Jay-Bird- Wrestlers who work the Indy circuit are to be commended, but comparing working a handful of independent dates a month to working full time, as in 7 days a week, back in the day in a territory including a weekly TV show, etc. isn’t comparing apples to apples. Paul- Unfriendly unions can indeed adversely affect a company from running an event in a union run building. I know the WWE doesn’t boycott any area, but sometimes the building deals are simply too stiff to overcome. Fans who are disenchanted with the WWE because a live event, TV, or PPV doesn’t happen in their local building, need to examine the matter more closely than simply lashing out at the organization. Paul- In my opinion, if all the brands were merged there would be many talents who would lose their jobs, as one brand doesn’t require as many wrestlers as the WWE has under contract. I still believe that in time and with the development of new stars and fewer serious injuries to establish stars that the three brand system can still work. In time, I may change my mind but that’s how I feel about that matter today. Neath- I don’t need to know who will wrestle whom as I prepare for all potential combinations of a match to be featured at Cyber Sunday, for example. I thoroughly enjoy going to ringside, sitting down and letting what ever happens happen and being a fan that just happens to be doing play by play. I have complete confidence in my ability to call any wrestling match just as I would broadcast a football game between two teams I had never seen before. The game is the game, and the fundamentals of the process will always be in place as it relates to my approach to the presentation. Thanks and I hope you will keep your comments coming to our site. JR, I grew up watching Jerry Lawler during the territorial days of CWA/Mid-Southern/USWA. From around 79' to 96' I attended matches at the Evansville Coliseum on Wednesday nights on a weekly basis. One of Jerry's angles was the quest for the title throughout his career. In your opinion...Do you think King would have made a great NWA world champion short or long term? Also, it would be great for him to grab some gold again....How neat would it be to see King and Naitch as WWE tag champs even for a short time??!! By the way have you ever tried Moonlight BBQ in Owensboro, Ky...? If not, skip down there if your ever in the Western Ky., Southern IN. area..I'm sure King has at one time or another. Thanks, Chad
Enjoy reading your blogs and watching you and the King on Monday nights. But as a big Laker fan, I gotta let you know that Staples Center holds 18,997 for a Laker game which is more than the 17000+ when you said that Raw outsold the Lakers.
I was wondering about your opinion about TNA just from a perspective of talent. Do you think it has potential and possibly could build up (in time) to anywhere close to WCW or even the WWE? I look at it like the WWE once was in its infancy. I ask because I respect you as a broadcaster and a recognize your expertize for potential in new superstars. Do you think that wrestling is experiencing a lull right now? It seems like the viewer ship for both TNA and WWE are at a low point. I wish both you and Jerry Lawler the best for the rest of the year and into 2008. Go Sooners!! :)
Hey J.R., Because of the massive amounts of injuries, suspensions and releases that happened this year, the WWE roster has taken a few blows. I was just wondering, if you were still head of talent relations, what indy/developmental/TNA/past wrestlers would you be most interested bringing in. Oh yeah, love the blog and BBQ sauce too.
Hey, J.R., love the column. My brothers and I went nuts at Wrestlemania XIX at Safeco Field, but where's the love been since then? Raw and Smackdown! are okay, but when are we going to see another WWE pay-per-view make its way to the Pacific Northwest?
Hey JR I was wondering if you caught Elijah Burke on Ghost Hunters? Do you think he will take any ribbing in the back for freaking out towards the end of the show? Have a great week!!
JR, wwe.com ran a contest to name the ECW ‘stream’ of the Tuesday night show that shows on the website the following day. I submitted several possible names, all variants of one simple concept, playing off the homonymous relationship of the words ‘stream’ and ‘extreme’. As it happened, one of the names made the top 5, and then the fans were asked to vote. The name I submitted, ‘ECW X-Stream’, apparently won as that is what they are now calling the show. They asked for my name, location and email address when submitting my entries. Am I ever going to receive a thank you or at the very least acknowledgement of my contribution?
Hey J.R., other than BBQ, what do you think is your favorite kind of cuisine?
Hey, JR. I have a question about your buddy Stone Cold. When he was a full-time wrestler, I remember him being billed from Victoria, TX (which is only an hour or two from my hometown between San Antonio and Corpus Christi). Does he actually live in Victoria or somewhere else like Austin or San Antonio? (Where Paul London and HBK are billed from respectively) I sure am looking forward to watching RAW this week. Hopefully someone will get Stunned in LA. Safe travels and keep it up, Jim. -James from Falls City, TX P.S. Good luck to OU against Texas A&M. See you on ABC.
Hey JR....just here saying i love reading your blog....but anyway whats up with the Cursierweight title did WWE Phase it out? cause i loved Cursierweight title matches no matter how short they were i mean no offense Cursierweight are in my mind are not as good as X Divison Matches ut thats just what sets TNA apart. But still i don't get why WWE would Phase it out but to me it looks like they did.
Good Evening JR! I just wanted to write and say how dissappointed I was that I was unable to make it to the studio where Lillian and yourself were doing an interview with our very own John Handiboe for "Hey John! What's goin on?" about the HUGE event for Orlando next year, Wrestlemania 24..I am a video editor for Central Florida News 13. I was really looking forward to meeting you both while you were there. I hope that I get the chance to meet you down the road as we head to Wrestlemania 24! Would love to have to sign a couple of bottles of your BBQ sauce...and of course pop a couple of them open and pour them on some ribs and burgers! While I am here I wanted to ask, do you have any predictions as to what or who we might see in the Main Event? Should be very interesting!
Since it looks as though the cruiserweight title has been dropped from smackdown, has anybody ever thought about moving the division over to ECW? I think ECW need another title on the show. It would give some of the guys who don't get used something to strive for.
Hey Good Old JR, I just read your opinion on OU and the claim of them running up the score on the Canes. But what do you think about the Patriots? I personally have the same opinion that if they can't play the defense then don't complain when you get scored on.
Hi JR, I'd Just Like To Say I'm A Hugh Fan. I've Been Watching (Listening) To Your Commentry For Years On WWE/F Programming And Cannot Picture Those Memorable moments Without A Good 'Ol Jr Quote To Accompany Them!!! ("As God Is My Witness, He's Broken In Half!!!"). Anyway, I Just Wanted To Comment And Maybe Get Your Thoughts On My Feud Of The Year So Far - MVP And Matt Hardy. Thats How The Good Old Fueds Used To Be - Long Drawn Out Affairs And in The End The Wrestling Match Had Meaning And Entertainment. What Do You Think, It Reminds Me Of Owen Hart And Steve Austin In '97.
Hey Jim. I was recently doing a tv trivia on WWE. Now I know my stuff as a HUGE fan but 1 question caught my eye: In WWE RAW, which wwe comentator writes most of jerry the king lawlers comentary ? (difficulty: unknown) JBL (5.4) jim ross (53.1) micheal cole (20.4) vince McMahon (18.4) skipped (2.7) I for on edo not believe this. Does the king as i assume tdo his own commentary?
hy jr is edge aka adam copeland, respected backstage? or people dont like him because of the personal problems he had with matt hardy? also, edge used to perform his dropkick in a more perfect way back in the day.. is it related to the neck surgery he had? keep strong
JR, What would you think of a DX vs The Brothers of Destruction match?
Hey J.R.! Just wanted to let you know that you are by FAR the best announcer in the industry today. Jeff Hardy is RED HOT! Ever since he was nominated for the Cyber Sunday spot, he has stepped up his game and taken himself to a whole other level. If you go back and watch the Raws from the past couple weeks, you can see for yourself the differences in the reactions that he gets in his matches compared to almost everyone else on Raw. I know that you expirienced it live, but sometimes its hard to see the difference until you watch it again, which I have found out from watching the live events I have gone to again. But here is my question. In your opinion, shouldn't Jeff Hardy get a run with or at least a shot at the WWE title? Fans would go insane for this, and I think Jeff has deserved it after 14 years of wrestling. Thanks for your time and I hope everything is going well! I am going to buy some of your beef jerkey. Which do you reccomend?
Hey J.R. Question for you. I noticed before how you eluded to a minimized tag team division in the WWE due to a lack of interest by the fans. Conversely I also noticed that TNA has a growing fan base behind the tag team division and seems to really support it. What are your thoughts? Also, can you reccomend any great marinades for a garliclover in reference to steaks?
Hey J.R, I love reading your blog and I enjoy your BBQ Sauce very much, and I just wanted to ask an HBK question, since he is my favorite wrestler of all time. In your opinion, what has been Shawn Michaels best match since returning in 2002?
Jr, Just wondering when we will get to find out who is behind the new promo every week, will it be soon, like say before december?
I had a second question for you J.R. Do you find Santino to be funny doing these Condemned skits? I think is song in grand rapids michigan my home state was hilarious and just each week its funny. Careful tho don't let him open a can of the a-whip. lol thanks j.r.
JR, i was a huge fan of the cruiserweight title back in it's wcw days as a proven succes in wcw, how come the wwe never fully capitilized on the cruiserweights, the title was always treated as a joke, i mean having hornswoggle win the title is just further proving my point, i would just like to know in ur opinion why the title was never given the respect it had in wcw, as the cruiserwieghts almost always stole the show and could give us a nice alternative to Friday night smackdown which is littered with hosses ie, khali, henry, and now big daddy v.
Jim- 1-How good of a promoter was Fred Ward Best Wishes
Jim- 1-How "over" was K. Muta in WCW during your time there? 2-Could Muta have made a considerable run in the WWE, or would the language barrior have been too difficult? 3-When wrestlers are caught in the ropes, is this a result of deliberate choice or accident? From the outside, it just seems so unlikely that this might happen. 4-What are your favorite restraunts in Atlanta?
J.R. I have a WM23 question. I was wondering was that john cena driving the mustang all the way thru detroit to ford field or a stunt man? Thanks rmcnellis86
In their day they both carried the company, but who do you feel had the edge when it came to in ring wrestling,The Rock or Stone Cold Steve Austin?
JR- First of all, you are the best announcer to ever grace ringside. You and the King are quite the team every monday and im glad to watch week after week. Ive been watching raw since it all started on 1/11/93. I wanted to ask over your long career(no offense) I know you have called some of the best matches in history. Foley/Taker, Rock/Austin, Hart/Austin, just to name a few...but who in your opinon is the greatest talent and nicest superstar you've been able to work with? Once again JR you are the best ever at what you do, and i appriciate your years of service and calling the best matches i have ever witnessed. Thanks, Dylan
J.R., has the WWE ever considered a wrestling hall of fame in a physical form? Like a permanent museum or perhaps a traveling exhibit? Maybe one that also features an arena for a developmental league so that fans can see sample matches or exhibitions. It's hard to believe that something like this doesn't already exist. Does it? Failing that, does the WWE offer tours of its headquarters in CT? Elsewhere in this thread, Alex's suggestion for a J.R.'s Bar-B-Q tailgate party at WM24 is really cool, but I understand if it's too impractical.
You see JR you have a lot of fans in South Africa. Not just me and Mark. Did you know we are the Rugby World Cup Champions? I don't know if you've ever seen a rugby match but I'm sure if you enjoy gridiron, you'll enjoy rugby. Keep well
One of my favorite wrestlers over the past few years was Heidenreich. What happened to him, and is there a chance that he may ever be back with WWE?
When Triple H "broke" your arm, I heard urban myths that you had to get surgery and the doctors had to breka it anyways, so you told Triple H to do it. Obviously, I'm no fool and took this with a grain of salt but how did you go about with the entire broken arm in front of the live audience
Hi Jr a couple quick questions 1. What do you think of the Chiefs being I think in 1st place of I think its the AFC west? 2. Have you got the New Eagles CD yet? Its grate! I got it the day it came out. Heads up for seeing them on TV. I believe they will be on the CMA Awards this Wednesday on ABC.
JR, I was curious if you knew if WWE 24/7 has quit doing the Monday Night War segment? It hasnt been on in the last two times it was updated. Also, when is the next Legend's Roundtable discussion going to happen? I remember reading that you were going up to do a new one a while ago...it is my husband and I's favorite show WWE does! Thanks, and Boomer Sooner!!! : ) Sandy
I was wondering JR I watched that WWE Roundtable about the Monday Night Wars let me ask you does Michael Hayes have brain damage or something he just seem really rude during that discussion. Go Sooners..
Hey JR, Have you ever had chance to have a vacation in the UK at all? As a UK fan I can say I appreciate the mentions we UK fans get on the WWE product on a regular basis. Also who in the WWE do you see being potential main eventers 5 down the line? CM Punk? Will Jeff ever get a shot? Or am I just an over hopeful fan? :)
Which group came first The Four Horsemen or the Fabulous Freebirds ?
J.R., I just purchased your cookbook. Really looking forward to checking it out and getting some ideas from it. It was nice meeting you and the gracious Lilian Garcia Tuesday night at the FYE in Oviedo, Fla. Sorry for the rainy weather. Thanks for being there for us fans and for signing my Chris Jericho book (great foreword!). J.R., I wanted to congratulate you on your Hall of Fame recognition this year. Sometimes you forget what you want to say when you're in front of a famous person. You truly deserve this honor. I've come to the conclusion that Triple H was right: you're as good as Gordon Solie ever was. Wrestling, like most things, is an ever-evolving medium. Gordon was the best announcer of his era. I grew up watching him in the '70s on Championship Wrestling from Florida and loved hearing him and Dusty do commentary on grainy clips of Dusty's matches filmed over the prior weekend. They had great chemistry; Gordon's serious, earnest personality really allowed Dusty to show off his colors while Gordon kept everything grounded in reality. He was the best announcer imaginable for that era of wrestling. I'd love to see him join you someday in the WWE Hall of Fame. You remind me so much of Gordon and I think that you are a big part of my returning to watching wrestling after a thirty-year sabbatical. You both bring the same, ineffable qualities to the show: authenticity, honesty and integrity. You don't stand in his shadow because you both stand in the same light. Gordon Solie was the best of his day. You, sir, are the best of ours!
PLEASE induct ABDULLAH the BUTCHER in the WWE Hall of FAME !!! The legend is 70 years old and deserves to be recognized and hailed for his memorable Japan bouts with the likes of HARLEY RACE, HULK HOGAN, and BRUISER BRODY! I also want to say that Larry Matysik of St. Louis and Sam Muchnick's NWA should also be recognized. I grew up watching Wrestling at the Chase and saw people like Bob Backlund, Ted Dibiase, The Von Ericks, and many other greats wrestle the way it should be done. I know you are not THE decision-maker but please put in a good word for people who paved the way.
JR, another good read as usual, my question pertains to a paticular show that I find myself liking more and more every week I watch it, I'm talking about ECW. I've really been getting into the show the past couple months, especially since CM Punk (who is tremendous) won the title from Morrison. Over the past month, I've really started to see a lot of potential on the mic and in the ring from The Miz which amazes me because I hated his gimmick for so long. I don't know what all the fuss is about JR with ECW, with the young talent like Punk, Morrison and The Miz along with the gigantic Big Daddy V and the ECW originals, I'm seeing good! What's your opinion on Morrison, The Miz and Punk? Who has the most potential to put a backside every 18 inches?
Hey JR, Hows it going? Ive been to many WWE Televised events, and i always wondered, why when the cameras are on you and the king and its being showed live on tv, why doesnt it appear on the titantron. for the last couple of years, every time you guys have a closeup live for the broadcast, the titantron just flashes the raw logo. Whats up with that? Thanks Steve
I like the new idea with ECW and Smackdown brands having merged talents. Will the ECW wrestlers be able to compete for and defend the Smackdown titles?
JR, I really enjoy this site. I love reading your blogs. I also will be ordering some things from your store for Christmas. Keep up the good work! Now on to my question.... I really like Lance Cade. He seems to have the size, look, athleticism, and overall ring work to be a singles star. Perhaps eventually (with some creative help) he could be a main eventer. I see him as a more athletic JBL. It looks like a breakup angle between him and Murdoch is starting so I guess this question is coming at the right time. What are your thoughts? Do you think he has what it takes to be a singles star? Thanks again, Mike Stock
Hi J.R, love your blog, keep up the good work. Just one question, hope you haven't answered it before though. If Stone Cold never had all his bad neck injuries, do you think he'd still be wrestling full-time in the WWE at the moment, or at least for a little while longer, and not just his occasional appearances that he's restricted to now?
I've been reading hi-lights from your blog on ewrestling for a while now. Once in a while I actually make it over to your site to read the rest of them. I'm not sure how you pick and choose which of the many comments you get here to reply to...but I thought I'd share a view on the three brands with you. First of all, I like the three brand system and believe it is working...perhaps not at the level we'd all like, but it's getting there. One of my beefs, however, is the way in which ECW is used. The potential exists for an entire division to represent the program. Now, doncha wanna ask me how... CM Punk and Morrison are two very incredible talents. The Miz isn't far behind. Now, imagine a world without an intercontinental or US champion. Imagine a two hour ECW program. Imagine the program represented by the likes of the three mentioned above, along with stars such as Shelton Benjamin, Carlito, Holly, Val Venus, MVP and those who fit the same mold. Imagine a hardcore division that includes Boogeyman, Dreamer, Big Daddy V, Balls Mahoney and so on. Where does that leave Raw and Smackdown!? With the amount of talent they'd still have on the show, the women's division, the tag division, cruiserweight and all the 'big guys' vying for the heavyweight and world titles...they likely wouldn't even have to cut back on the story telling aspect. What I'm getting at is this...have the ECW become the Intercontinental and US title collectively. Bringing back the hardcore title would pay tribute to what ECW was always all about. WWE's roster has the depth to do this. There is no reason to call any of the shows the 'A' show. They can all be great for their own reasons, and have the star power to draw people to watch. Just my two yen. Keep up the great work, JR...and please let JBL know that the colour commentator should not have to repeat the same line about MVP three times a match! ;)
my question is that dh. smith- is that you and the king say he is a 2nd generation wrestler isn't he a 3rd generation wrestler.
JR- Please name your favorite 'high impact' move (powerbomb, top rope move, etc.) and who you think does it best, and name your fave submission move and who does that best. I hope some day you can open a JR's BBQ place out here in Northern California...it's so hard to find good BBQ these days.
JR, I just got back from your (and Lillian's) appearance at the Oviedo Marketplace in Orlando. Thanks again for taking the time out to meet fans. Also, please look into the possibility of JR's BBQ sponsoring a southern style tailgating party the day of Wrestlemania 24. You know we are all about tailgating in the south! It would be great promotion for WWE and JR's BBQ if you teamed up with the Food Network to tape a special that day also. As Lillian said, she could set up her band and sing some tunes. If that doesn't pan out, you can always hang out under our canopy and enjoy a frosty beverage and some BBQ. See you then! Alex Orlando, FL
JR, Regarding your constant use of a cowboy hat as your choice of headwear. Have you ever considered mixing in a ball cap, like Austin had suggested to you at one time? Was there ever an occasion that you ever tried covering up with a bandana much like the beloved Hulkster? Personally, I think you would be best alternating between a cowboy hat and a bandana akin to Randy Savage in his latter days…
JR, I am a native Californian and have never particularly liked BBQ sauce. Is it possible that I am just completely crazy or is it more likely that I have just never had good BBQ sauce? Please advise.
