J.R.'s Family Bar-B-Q

Does Anyone Have a Cup of Coffee?

Well, this is your sleep-deprived, overworked Webmaster with a website update. As you can see, I have done absolutely nothing, in fact, I have taken stuff away. No, this is not some sick joke, just more delays in a never ending battle with our online shopping cart. We are trying to make your time at J.R.'s a pleasant and enjoyable experience, and on your way out, we hope that you will purchase some of our fine merchandise (the holidays will be here before you know it). Anyway, you didn't come to this site for my endless babble. I am pretty sure this is J.R.'s website, so I will stop typing and get back to work. To get you through the day, I thought you might like some feedback from your favorite Wrestling and Bar-B-Q Aficionado... Good Bye Moolah.. Football Talk.. Headbangers.. Missing Cruiserweights.. Thanks for stopping by and checking out our site. Exciting things are going on here and many major changes are underway. I hope you will take a moment to browse in our store (as soon as my webmaster has it finished) as we have some awesome new things for you to check out. I was truly saddened to hear of The Fabulous Moolah’s passing last week. The first woman to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame was one of a kind and survived in a male dominated world where many men generally thought a woman’s place was being pregnant and bare footed. Moolah had a tremendous influence in the world of women’s wrestling serving as a trainer, mentor, manager, tour organizer, and had a 28-year run as the Women’s World Champion. Moolah’s legacy will be forever remembered as the most powerful woman in the business and she has left us to meet her Maker and will no doubt charm Him with Lil’s Southern Belle warmth. Do you think Moolah will call the Good Lord Darlin’? Let’s get to a few of your comments: Chris- I missed the Ghost Hunter episode on Sci Fi with Elijah Burke, but I have no idea what in the hell WCE is. WCW fan- Buy WCW if you can, but you will still have talent depth issues no matter who’s “jersey” they are wearing. Ron- The Sooners will roll this Saturday against an outmanned Baylor team that is seemingly close to saying “enough is enough” for this football season. The Sooners simply need to take care of their business and WIN. All the other BCS stuff will work out as it will. I hope OU runs the table and faces Kansas in San Antonio for the Big 12 Title, which gives both KU and OU the best chance of making it to the BCS Title game on Monday, February 7 in New Orleans. Kory- Adrian Peterson is a stallion to the 9th degree, without question. The Vikings have a player with which they can build their franchise around for the next decade. Let’s just hope AD can avoid any serious injuries and any of the other distractions that some NFL players fall victim to. I can say this… the more carries AD gets, the stronger he runs. It will be interesting to see how those purple Vikings #28 jerseys continue to sell. We will have an AD signed Vikings’ helmet in our 2nd Bar-B-Q Restaurant. BA33- I know there have been “Warrior imposters” over time, but there is only one “Ultimate Warrior” of which I am aware. I would suggest the mold was broken with the creation of the “Ultimate Warrior.” Ed- I have no idea if the WWE Cruiserweight Title will ever be brought back. I enjoy cruiserweight matches, but that’s just me. The cruiserweight division never seemed to be taken too seriously in the past. John- Nice job adding the J.R.’s Chipotle Ketchup® in your tomato soup! And yes, politics have existed in wrestling long before the day I walked thru the door in 1974, and that particular matter isn’t apt to change unless the human element can be factored out, which isn’t too likely. Jeremy- I think the ship has sailed, regarding a return of the Headbangers to the WWE. Charlie- We have always gotten a fair amount of orders here on our site from our Canadian friends. We need more of them though, I can assure you, and we do ship worldwide these days. Come on fans in Canada… give our store a visit… and thanks!! Dan- HBK is still one of the top five in-ring talents in the world today. Shawn has the experience from wrestling in the territory system, the passion of being a life long fan, and the athletic ability that only God can gift one. HBK’s in ring skills are amazing considering he missed almost 4 years of in-ring activity with a bad back and is presently wrestling on knees that have seen their better days. HBK’s upcoming DVD should be a huge hit. I can’t wait to see it myself. Oliver- In my eyes there is nothing “transitional” about Randy Orton’s WWE Title reign. Orton’s best days are ahead of him and he could well end up one of the WWE’s all time biggest stars before all is said and done. Time will tell. Trojanfan MIke- I don’t think USC will lose another game this regular season and may not lose their bowl game either. An OU-USC Fiesta Bowl is a distinct possibility. Tully Blanchard was a truly talented athlete who was a good college QB at West Texas State back in the day and a helluva technical wrestler during his prime. “Underrated” is certainly a viable term to describe Tully, who with Arn Anderson was one of the best tag teams I ever saw. Mike- I think the WWE would be well served to have a Canadian developmental system in place some time in the near future. Canada has produced some great wrestling stars and those stars have influenced many young men and women who want to follow in their role model’s foot steps. Adrian- No, none of the McMahon’s have dined with us in Norman as of yet, but perhaps they will some day. I won’t hold my breath, as Mr. McMahon doesn’t like to eat food without the use of a knife and fork, which isn’t exactly the recommended way to eat J.R.’s Hall of Fame Ribs. ChrisUGA- Good luck on obtaining the Wrestlemania 24 tickets in Orlando. Tickets are still available, but one has to assume not for long. The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is also something you will want to check out. I assume you are a Larry Munson fan if you are a Georgia Bulldog supporter. Thorsten- I am a big fan of “See No Evil” and definately feel it has legs for a sequel. Writer Dan Madigan did a great job on the story and is ready to write more horror oriented material. Kane did a helluva job too in the film in his role of Jacob Goodnight. I suggest that all fans check it out on DVD. Matthew- I am not counting the Redskins out of the NFL playoffs yet, but their division is awfully tough. They do need to get on a roll. Don- J.R.’s Cookbook is a great tool for anyone, especially men, who want to learn to grill and to Bar-B-Q better. Our recipes are simple and easy to execute. I assure you that you will enjoy it, plus we ship them free in the continental USA and autograph them too! T-Money- The Calzaghe vs. Kessler fight Saturday is definately on my agenda. Junior- There is no logical reason why DH Smith should not become a big time star in the WWE over time. Smith seemingly is bred to be a wrestler, without question. The 22 year old will have to make better decisions going forward and I feel very confident that he will. DH is a good kid from what I have seen of him. Everyone can make mistakes, but repeating history isn’t wise. Lee- A J.R.’s BBQ in London has been discussed… casually, but discussed. WE ship all our sauces, Jerky, Gift Buckets, merchandise, etc. to the UK, so I hope you give our products a try. They make super holiday gift ideas. Tyler- The Alabama football program is a proud tradition that Nick Saban will do well with in future seasons. I was pulling for Bama against LSU, for my Sooners’ sake. Recruiting is the key for the future for the Crimson Tide and with Tommy Tuberville being rumored for the Texas A&M job, perhaps Saban and crew can clean up on the in state high school football stars. Alabama is noticeably better than they were last season as it feels like the spirit is back on the field and in the stands. The Bear must be smiling. Bob- Wrestlers violating policies is not a good thing, but wrestlers who violate the same policy more than once is downright stupid. Thomas- I have said many times that wrestling fans have not seen the last of Ric Flair. Until “Naitch” tells me he is done, I still see Ric in the ring and still holding his own. Personally, it would be a shame for Ric to not be a part of Wrestlemania 24, but that’s just one man’s opinion. Bill- The OKC ownership of the NBA Seattle Sonics had it in their minds all along to move the team to Oklahoma City, in my opinion. The Sonics, or whatever their new name might be, will draw well in OKC and I look for them to push for a new facility as well, even though the Ford Center is virtually brand new. BigWWE Fan- Would I list the greatest WWE Champions in order? No. I don’t do that… Kris- If I stated that Jeff Hardy is older than his brother Matt, then I made a mistake. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Now go buy some Bar-B-Q Sauce! Don- There is no New England Clam Chowder recipes in J.R.’s Cookbook. Sorry, but that would not be a specialty of yours truly. Try a Google search or check out the Food Network’s website and I would be you will find what you are looking for. Chance-Thanks for making the 90-minute drive from Duncan, Oklahoma to eat at “J.R.’s”. We are having a great time with our place and take great pride in our food and our service. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Sooners rolled over the Aggies, but OU still has many miles to travel before they sleep. Thanks for checking out all the great things going on our site and for your feedback. We will have more blogs this week….guaranteed. BOOMER SOONER! J.R. (intro from the Webmaster)

i love the BBQ good on hamburgers.Do you show the PPV for WWE in your restraunt
Do you know what happened to Carlito? I read somewhere that he turned in his 3 weeks notice. Is this true or just a rumor?
Hi J.R. Just a reply to ComaRed who stated that John Cena is a cancer and a headless chicken. Now i'm NOT a huge Cena fan but I do recognise that he has come a long way since he first debuted.I'm from Ireland but I was in the Staples Centre for WM 21 and at the time both myself and my friend were not happy that he won the strap from JBL.However 3 years has passed since and I do believe he has developed into a worthy champion. His in ring skills has improved as they had to and his mic skills were never in doubt. The fact is that Cena was pushed hard and fast by Vince and almost forced on the fans but the so was The Rock, Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar, tho I was never convinced that Lesnar had what it took and he proved this himself by bailing so soon into his WWE career. Cena has, like the Rock and Angle, begun to prove himself tho I believe he's got years to go before he can be talked about being in the same league as either of them. But he's had some excellent rivalries with Edge and Umaga and his HBK rivalry is coming along nicely, including this years WM.Who else was going to carry the strap all this time??especially if Vince wanted a face champ..HBK has injury issues and HHH is best when he's a heel.so who else is there at this level?? Its always a shame to see a nasty injury and Cenas was so inconspicuous its a pity. Also it would have given Orton greater crediblity to have beaten Cena in the ring rather than have the strap handed to him ( tho tye subsequent win over HHH in the LMS match got some of that lost crediblity back. I will certainly appreciate having Cena back when he does return and I guess the silver lining in the cloud will be that he will be fresh and may have added a few strings to his character bow. As for ComaRed's wish for Batista to be fired, while he's no doubt not the greatest wrestler, he brings intensity and popularity to the ring and I've not heard of him doing anyone any legitimate harm in the ring so I say, who would you rather choose as champ, Batista or the Great Kahli??I think ComaRed needs to take a chill pill and realise that even if a guy isnt the greatest wrestler or a personal fave, that doesnt give him the right to call them a cancer or wish them bad luck. Thanks J.R
JR, Who do you think will win the big 12 north showdown in KC..Missouri or Kansas? Im a life long Tigers fan, I know we haven't had much big game success in November, but I think Chase Daniels and are amazing WR corps is ready to change that. Growing up in St Louis, I remember the great Bruiser Brody and Flair main events at the old Kiel auditorium as a little kid. I was wondering what were some of your great wrestling memories of St louis over the years.
I dont know if you have seen the edited and unedited videos regarding the John Cena interview on CNN but let me comment real quick. First, it is no secret that Ted Turner and Vince McMahon have had theier troubles in the past. The way CNN aired the interview and the way John Cena really answered were totally different but instead of saying "absolutely not" and just leaving it at that, he said, "you cant prove that I have and I cant tell you that I havent." I hate to say this but based on this statement, it makes me wonder. Nobody will ever know.. Take care
So, what do you think of the latest "what if" section on wwe.com? I thought Triple H's (didn't he play Mama Fratelli in The Goonies?) comment was priceless. Because the company has, in fact, proven time and time again to be just "that stupid". I think that if the screw job was reversed WCW might have won the Monday Night Wars. Why? Because having 4 of the 5 members of the Kliq taking on WWE would have been no contest. Hall, Nash, Waltman AND Hickenbottom VS the then WWF? (WWE could have kept Hogan as far as I'm concerned. He was never nWo material anyway.) And I'm willing to bet Levesque would have jumped ship too if all of his buddies were working for Easy E. I think we'd be seeing Vince McMahon as Nitro's General Manager. And with WCW's more humanitarian schedule we'd be seeing careers last a whole lot longer too, I'd wager. Had WCW won would you have gone back to work for them? Or would J.R. be sitting next to Don West these days?
Hi JR, I was wondering if you knew why all the WWE Diva's have been removed from wwe.com. Is there a method to the madness or is this some type of a glitch. I was also wondering if the WWE will ever make it's way back to Western Canada any time soon. I am still a little bummed that I had to refund my tickets to the Raw show but due to those unforseen and very unfortunate circumstances I understand why. One final thing, do you know how Gregory Helms is doing. I know that his injury was pretty bad but do you know how his recovery is coming along and do you know when he will return.
Will WWE be producing anymore hardcover autobiographies anytime soon. I really enjoy reading these, I will be picking up Batista Unleashed very soon. Personally I would love to read the life of Triple H, The Undertaker, Kane, John Cena, and you Good Ol JR. Sam~
JR, I was wondering how you feel regarding the editing of Chris Benoit out of WWE's video library. I've been watching 24/7 lately, and he's been cut out of a lot of things that he was most definitely a part of at the time. On one hand, I totally understand the need to erase him for the time being, due to the publicity of the situation, and I can't say I miss him. He was great at what he did, but I don't get any enjoyment out of watching his work anymore. But on the otherhand, how do you erase a man who was such a big part of history? Do we just pretend the main event of Wrestlemania 20 never happened? Do we just pretend Randy Orton won his first world title from someone else? Does the Royal Rumble 2004 victory now move to second place (Big Show)? Erasing his minor matches (such as a 1997 victory over Ice Train on WCW Nitro) is one thing, but as the years go on, how do you think WWE should/will proceed with Benoit as it relates to the years of history and footage he is forever linked to?
How old are Jeff and Matt Hardy? Thanks.
Hey, JR. Love what you do every Monday night, keep it up. I watched that CNN documentary a few nights ago and was wondering if you saw it and what your thoughts were on it. I, for one, am quite appalled that CNN would stoop as low as they did when the edited John Cena's interview and twisted his words around to make it seem like he had taken steroids. No network should ever do that and I wonder how they are able to get away with it.
Hello JR, Do you think Sean Waltman will ever be back in the WWE someday? Personally I think he played a major role in paving the way for today's WWE cruiserweights. If you look back at some of the stuff he did in the mid-90's, you can tell that the guy was way ahead of his time. I was wondering if you had any idea why he was so unpopular with the fans? Do you think it was a gimmick issue? Alot of people like to compare Waltman with CM Punk (probably due to their similar size) but personally in my view it is like comparing apple with oranges. Waltman had his own unique style whereas Punk is just ripping off Japanese wrestlers' moves. I think Punk is incredibly overrated, boring and routinely generic. Your thoughts?
JR: -I was bummed about Booker T's departure from WWE; I've been a fan since Harlem Heat. He will be missed. -Any word on Edge's return date? -Prediction: no major talent will EVER get canned due to the Wellness Program. The guys that have what it takes don't make the same mistakes over and over, they learn and move forward. The head cases may get over for awhile, but they wear out their welcome fast (then post shoot interviews on their websites blaming everybody but themselves for their career woes).
Hi JR, WWE should Buy-Out JEFF JARRETT's TNA Contract -WWE Fan
Hi JR. I think the tribute to The Fabulous Moola on Raw was exceptional, and a great way to farewell a true legend of the wrestling industry. There will never be another like her. Just a quick question, as you are so conversant with American college football, what is your opinion of Australian football, particularly the NRL and AFL? Are you conversant with these codes? Like you, I feel that any superstar who deliberately flaunts a company policy is just plain stupid, and deserves evrything they get. Thanks for reading. Jayne.
Hi JR, I am a bit concerned for the well-being of HBK. When he first came back from knee surgery he was jumping all over the place, but the last couple of weeks he has been noticeably more limited in his movement. I know that you mentioned his knees have "seen their better days", but if Shawn isn't really 100% from his surgery, then shouldn't he have been given more time off to heal than he was? I just hope that HBK is OK. Thanks for your time!
Do you see a future return for X-pac, Johnny Stamboli, Maven, Muhammad Hassan, Rob Van Dam, Marcus Cor Von? Do you see Mistico ever coming to WWE to rejuvinate the cruiserwieght Division? I know thats alot, but I'm curius?
J.R., female family aside, who would you rather have cook a meal for you, Rachel Ray or Giada De Laurentiis?
Hey JR, I am curious, if a fan ever pitches a storyline to you on this blog and you honestly loved the idea and thought it would be something which would bring in ratings and a lot of money, would you ever pitch it to higher ups at WWE?
Hey J.R. I just finished both Jericho and Bret's books. Just wondering what your opinion of Bret's was? Both of these guys make me wish I was Canadian. Bret has had quite the life huh?
Hi JR! I usually don't write in, let alone when I hear a rumor on the Net. But with this one I felt compelled; I heard the The Nasty Boys will be competing in a dark match and possibly be showing up on ECW. What are the chances of this happening? Like I said, I just had to ask you about that. The Nasties to me are one of the finest tag-teams of all time and I think the younger guys could learn a lot from them. Thanks! Lee
Dear JR, I know this seems to be a recurring issue, but I would like to inquire about the status of one Macho Man Randy Savage. I have respected your progression through the territories, WCW tenure, WWE announcing tenure, food products, as well as the era where you were involved in Talent Relations. When Savage was on fire, jacked up, and stirring up mayhem in WCW, him and WCW couldn't come to terms and Savage was virtually a free agent. Why did WWE drop the ball so badly on this possibility? Do you understand what a Randy Savage/Rock feud would cause in the industry? Chaos and a dream match. You were the head of Talent Relations, so unfortunately I solely place the blame on you. Maybe it's not the correct statement for me to make, but that is unfortunately how I feel. Do you have any thoughts or opinions to make the average Savage fan feel otherwise? Thank you sir, and have a great day.
Hello JR From Stilwell/Westville OK. Looking forward to the website coming back up. PeeWee has requested some of your special sauce for Christmas....Look Forward to eating it...Take Care
JR, as you seem to spend a large amount of time answering questions from WWE fans,I thought you may like the chance to ask a question instead! So go ahead, ask me anything and I will answer as openly and honestly as you do in your next blog.
Hey JR have you ever met or had any dealings with Garth Brooks? Also have you heard about and or seen Mid South Wrestling Giants, Midgets, Heroes & Villians DVD?
I and some of my friends had the opportunity to spend the past weekend in Norman. We were able to dine at JR's with the man himself. Also, had some delicacies from the trailer at the game from Timmy. I just wanted to tell you folks, that in North Carolina we know alittle about Bar B Que pork, and I will say that JR's is right up there. Now the smoked bologna that I had was fantastic. This is not an add for my good friend Jim Ross, but I will emphatically state that the Nachos were the best I have ever had outside of Mexico. Simply delicious. Now JR, you have ruined my nacho eatin anywhere else. Thanks for a great weekend and we will see you in Charlotte.......
J.R. or Webmaster Ever thought of having a live feed over the web from J.R's restaurant ? Some of us who balk at the idea of a 28,000k round trip, so we can taste even J.R's ribs, would love to see whats happening "LIVE" Also damn i miss the WWE not having a Poet Laurete nowdays, Where's the new Leaping Lanny Poffo.
I too would like to share my condolences to the WWE crew and fans of the Fabulous Moolah. I watched her tribute on this week's Raw and thought it was very well made.
Hey JR, was just wondering what your opinion is of Alex Wright and do you think he has a chance of ever going to WWE?
Hi JR I was just wondering if you happened to catch the Family Feud episodes with the WWE Superstars in them?
Hi J.R. Just wanted to ask your thoughts on Raw. Just watched Mondays and have to say it was probably the best episode ive watched in a long time. The reaction to dx reuniting and stone cold making an appearance was amazing. But for me what made it even better was Santino Marella on the mic. He plays the fool incredibily well and him and stone cold seem to have real chemistry together. Added with some great match-ups and this really was top class. Also would like to say that i attended the Raw event in Cardiff U.K. last month and it was great watching live. The biggest pop of the night which maybe suprising to some people (but not me!) was For Hardcore Holly! He has been in the wwe years and seems to be the consumate professional. Do you think he could be elevated into title territory in the near future? Thanks J.R. Mike.
Hey JR, I just found this website. Didn't realize you had all this going on great job man. I think i'll have to pick something up. What do you recommend? Anyway i have a question for ya if you don't mind my asking. I have been a fan of WWE for along time well make that wrestling since i can remember. I buy dvds just to study them, i watch alot of the old school days (midsouth) on youtube just to study it. I have always wanted to be a wrestler and now after 4 years of hard work in the gym i am 6'4" 280. Lean not fat. (I can see my abs if that tells ya anything) I was wondering if you knew of any place i could train in the columbia sc area. Maybe even charlotte area. That's only an hour away. I have heard you have to be careful about wrestling schools they can be scams. So if you know of any that you would call reputable i would appreciate it. OH and RIP MOOLAH. She lived just about 10 minutes from me.
Hey J.R., I was thinking about the upcoming Survior Series this year and was wondering what you thought about WWE bringing back the women's Traditional Survivor Series Teams? The divas haven't had their own match up at the event in quite awhile and with all the female talent currently around, I would defintely like to see the mix of styles and contrasting skills from the female side of things on the card, for not only first ever branded, but first ever tri-branded women's Traditional Survivor Series Teams. What do you think? & Could it happen this year?
JR, Hello again from Austin, TX! I am a huge Bret Hart fan (always have been), and since tomorrow will be 10 years to the day since he last competed for the WWE, I feel a Hit Man question is appropriate. It breaks my heart to think about what all Bret has gone through in the last 10 years...it's a long list of terrible stuff, and I know you're already aware of all of it, so I won't bother listing them. Will you just talk a little bit about Bret's place in the history of the business? Do you think his style is still influential to superstars in training today? Also, I know you don't like reliving Montreal, and I know you weren't in charge, but do you believe that what happened was necessary, or do you feel it could/should have been handled differently. Lastly, I've always wanted to know if you and King knew what was going to go down that night, and how you prepared for it if you did. I apologize if you've answered this before, but I'd be grateful if you answered anyway. I know Hogan drew bigger crowds, Stone Cold played a bigger role in catapulting WWE to a new level, Flair won more titles, and the Rock was more popular, but I feel Bret's storytelling abilities and technical skill are unequaled, and I think he brought a little of everything to the table. That's why he is the best there is, the best there was, and the best that there ever will be. Thanks for reading, JR, and I hope all is well. -Grant
Hello, JR. I'm curious who would you rather see your Sooners play in a potential Big 12 championship game, my Mizzou Tigers or the Kansas Jayhawks? Thanks!!
Please tell Cena that he has no idea what taking risks involves. Because he never does. He's stale and isn't even good enough to be considered a flash in the pan. He continues to bore everyone but little kids and heavy women. He's a cancer along with Batista. Someone who is notorious for being a jerk that gets along with no one but still has a title. Forget steroids kids. The WWE wants its champions to have no wrestling skill at all and to be hated in the back. CM Punk is your lone exception. And whether Cena has friends or not you can't take away the fact that he's a chicken with his head cut off in the ring. The man, himself, is a joke. Oh I know, he had it so rough winning EVERY SINGLE match he was in. Must be tough to get something for nothing. He gets the money and glory. We, the fan,get ripped off. I respect Vince McMahon for everything he has accomplished. But adoring wrestlers with zero ability seems to be Twilight Zone to me. Snitzky? The man was loving feet and getting shoulder rubs from Tomko. WE remember this stuff but now he's a monster that keeps destroying jobbers like Val Venis and Carlito. Ooooo... we need more of Snitzky's back acne. With DX and Austin on RAW, I finally let out a breath. That was awesome. But please, find a way to keep the ball rolling. And fire Batista.
Why has Scott "Flash" Norton never been in the WWE? After Sting, he is the best former WCW wrestler never to be in the WWE; and Vampiro is after Norton.
I would like to know about your thoughts on the Nitro Girls. I personally think it was innovative. I also wish that Extreme Expose would have a little more then just three members which is now down to two with brook's releace.
Hey JR, What was it like being on Family Feud?
Sir, one question that I've bee wanting to ask...how many dvd's on the Rock have been released? As far as I know, there have been only 2, but does Just bring it look at his career?I know about his ancestry and all, but I was curious as to how he got employed and the evolution of his character and all. I hope the Wwe releases one final tribute DVD, a big one that looks at him from every perspective, his career, his matches, promos, everything memorable. Especially, the Rock Concerts. They were hilarious! Plz tell Vance about this. That DVD will stay #1 for many months I think.I also hope that like he dissed off the Warrior in the warror's dvd, instead of honoring him....he doesn't do that with the Rock. BTW, a second short question too- What do you think about TNA at the current moment and are they sufficient enough to compete with WWe head to head? I mean, their ratings are even worse than the worst brand Wwe has ever made,no offense to the XFL...but ECW is pure garbage with only 3-4 guys holding it on its legs. Tna,despite all the talent and 2 hours, have still not improved much. Your opinion plz?
With Tennesse's slip in recent years, do you think that the game has passed Phil Fulmer by, and if Tennessee decides to go another direction, is the Tennessee job still a top ten job?
Jim, do you think it would be better if all three brands would join and be one because it seems like it will happen eventually since ECW and Smackdown are on each other's shows.
JR, Name a current NCAA Division I running back who is better than Darren McFadden. Your answer probably translates into the NUMBER 1 overall NFL pick in the next draft....but does it also translate into Heisman hardware for D-Mac? -Wagdaddy
J.R. - when I hear or read about Ohio Valley Wrestling - just where is Ohio Valley Wrestling headquartered. Enjoy the rapport you and Jerry Lawler have - ya'll are a good team and keep up the good work. Too bad I moved from North Texas before you opened your BBQ Restaurant - stuck in SE Indiana (yep close to Montgomery Inn) - but give me TX or OK BBQ anyday. Heck these folks up here don't even know you can eat brisket!!!!
hey jr, hows it going? just wondering your opion on wrestlers going into mma like sean'o haire, kurt angle, brock lesner and ken shamrock have done? also what is your opinion on sean o'haire? thanks jr cheers, stu
Hi J.R., What is the point of having the brand split thesedays especially with the seperate brand PPV's now gone. Surely it would make ratings sense to have Raw feature all the star names such as Taker,Batista,Mysterio,Edge ect. I know you have said alot of wrestlers would lose their jobs but without trying to sound cruel there must be at least 10 wrestlers under contract that are never likely to any draw money or get over.
Thank you J.R. for the funniest line I've heard on Raw in a long time. When the Playboy bunnies started dancing and you told the King to "keep your hands above the table!" I I fell off the sofa laughing.
Which legends would you like to see put in future Smackdown vs. Raw games? I know Bruno Sammartino is not on good terms with WWE, but does the company still own the rights to his likeness, and can they include him in the game? Will we ever see the most old-school wrestlers like Bruno, Pedro Morales, Superstar Billy Graham, Harley Race, Gorilla Monsoon, etc.? What about tag teams like Demolition, The Rockers, The Hart Foundation, The British Bulldogs, The Rock n' Roll Express, Midnight Express, etc.?
do u know when bobby lashley will be returning and do u think he will be a future wwe or world champion because his skils are the best but he needs work on the mic and thats it but wat do u think jr do u think lashley will be a future champion and have a good run
There was always & always will be one Ultimate Warrior. Jim Hellwig is, was & always be- Warrior, Ultimate Warrior, Dingo Warrior, One Warrior Nation / That's All. (Mainly... The Ultimate Warrior) I miss him in the WWE & on Monday Night Raw. BRING BACK THE WARRIOR! What do you think JR, Can one more chance work?
