J.R.'s Superstar of the Week - Chris Jericho (from WWE.com)

Random thoughts from under the black, 200X Resistol hat from suddenly chilly Oklahoma, as your resident barbeque aficionado is preparing for the annual Bedlam Football Game between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State this Saturday in Norman and still thinking about the 21st Survivor Series last Sunday. I really enjoyed the 21st Survivor Series last Sunday in Miami and felt that many of WWE’s most valuable Superstars really stepped up to the plate in their respective bouts. The Hell in a Cell Match was wrought with physicality and drama. You gotta love it, as Undertaker and Batista beat the hell out of each other, but it was the returning Edge who seemingly got the last word. WWE Champion Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels put on a clinic of a wrestling bout, which took me back to days of yesteryear when great, pure wrestling matches were the order of the day more often than not. The Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match was exciting and showcased several talents who needed the extra exposure, and none of them failed to deliver. Even the use of three announce teams in the Elimination Match worked well, as that journey could have certainly been a train wreck of individual agendas and people talking over each other, but that was not the case. J.R, you are the greatest commentator that I've ever seen in the history of the WWE. You revolutionize the term "sports entertainment". It's me and my friend's dream to get to the WWE and we hope you share some of your wrestling wisdom with us because you're the greatest, man. Keep up the history making in the WWE because nobody's voice is better for this great business that you represent and that's the WWE. Alex Fuentes
whats do you think of Jeff Hardy.
Hey J.R. any way my question is in wrestling. I want to become a WWE superstar. It is my dream, it is my passion, and i want to learn the bussiness so that i may become a wrestler. It's what i've wanted to do since i was 5 years old. I am currently 17 and as soon as i get out of High school, im going to wrestling school so i can become the best. What do you think, what more can i do to ensure i get a chance, fankly i dont care if they say no, i wont take that for an answer and ill keep coming back untill i am taken and sign that dotted line. You know passion JR and that why i came to you. Please write me back when you get the chance.

You do a wonderful job. Have been a wrestling fan 40 years, Jim - going to back the Olympic Stadium in down town Los Angeles - Bobo Brazil, not to mention Gorilla Monsoon. Am an attorney and a newspaper columnist, married 23 years with two fine young boys. Here is my concern: Jeff Hardy. You recently did a Raw telecast (I think this past Monday the l9th of November), and part of your dialogue was that Hardy just works so hard, and his body takes so much punishment, and etc. It was in the sense of praising his dedication and work ethic, but I am not a point with the sad to horrible injuries and fates that have befallen so many of these athletes -- Kurt Henning to Eddie Guerrero and of course whatever horrors overtook Chris Benoit -- that Jeff Hardy is on his way to a similar fate (no pun intended on twist of fate). In l0 years do we expect him to have anything other than aches, pains and residual negative effects from his work ethic? And, Jim... it is Jeff's work ethic, or the company's demands, or a little of both? He is a prime example of what we should have learned - don't push your luck too much - and I hope the WWE can do seomething to reverse what does appear to be a trend. Young man made very old and decrepit long before their time because of the demands placed upon them, and the demands they make upon themselves. Thanks for listening - Best, Ron Sokol
Don't forget... Ultimate Warrior, Texas Tornado, LOD & so many more.
HEY JR I JUST WONTED TO SAY THAT I LOVE YOU FOOD AND I DONT WONT YOU TO EVER EVER LEAVE THE WWE BECAUSE WHEN I GET TO THE WWE I WONT TO TO COMMEMTARY AT LEST ONE OF MY MATCHES PLEASE DONT EVER LEAVE US WWE NEEDS YOU AND KING YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST
Hi JR! First of all, gotta say, I think you're the greatest commentator to grace the wrestling industry, bar none. Living in Norway, it's not easy being a wrestling fan. There's no wrestling airing here, and when they tried airing it, for some reason it never caught on. Now I have to have a satellite subscription through the UK to catch SKY, just to get my dose of WWE:) During the last two years, I've been to four WWE tours, including tv tapings of Raw, Smackdown and ECW on three separate occasions, and I'm loving it! I was lucky enough to attend the tv tapings of Raw at Earls Court Arena in London last april, and privileged to witness the hour-long Cena-Michaels match, which by the way was awesome! My question is this - what did you think of this match and how did you feel calling it? Sorry for the rant, just wanted to let you know I appreciate your work :) Sincerely and with best regards Stian K. Norway.
I just want to say thank you for the wonderful job you do here and on WWE. You are a positive roll model for all. I also would like to wish you and Mrs. Ross a Happy Thanksgiving.
OK , I just wanna say J.R., that I have to make mention on the constant referrals that The Rock being one of the all time greats, being mentioned in the same class as Hogan , Flair, Funk, etc. The Rock was EXTREMELY enteratining in the WWE , but one thing he didn't have was longevity. He didn't start getting hot as a main eventer until late 1998 , and the after Wrestlemania 2001 , he was a part time wrestler for a couple of years , and then has been gone from WWE totally for over 3 years now. (so he was a full time , main event draw for 2 1/2 years) , to me , that doesn't deserve to be in a class of all time greats when guys like flair , undertaker and hogan have all been top draws for 20 years or more. Some of the great all time performers in no particular ordr were... Bret Hart Steve Austin Hulk Hogan Ric Flair Randy savage Triple H Shawn Michaels terry Funk Sting Kurt Angle Chris Benoit Chris Jericho Undertaker harley Race Andre the Giant Ted DiBiase Mr. perfect Arn Anderson and (yes I said it ) John Cena .... just to name a few
