J.R.'s Superstars of the Week - Our Fans (from WWE.com)

Posted in:
Greetings from under the black, 200X Resistol hat from your resident Okie, who is looking forward to traveling to Pittsburgh this Sunday for Armageddon and then on to chilly Buffalo for Monday Night Raw, which will have a hard act to follow after the three-hour, 15th Anniversary Raw Monday evening in lovely Bridgeport, Conn. It was great seeing so many former WWE Superstars Monday, as it was hard not to see everyone in the relatively small confines of the Arena at Harbor Yard. I am sure I missed visiting with some folks, which I unquestionably regret because one never knows when the next opportunity will arise for a gathering such as this or who of us will still be around the next time there is a special occasion such as a Raw Anniversary show. Good Day Mr. Ross, I would like to inquire about Randy Savage. I am under the impression that he is not on speaking terms with Hulk, however, is there anyone at WWE that he does converse with? I ask this because I'd love to see him in the HOF one day. He was and still is my favorite Superstar.
Here is a question that I bet no one ever asked you: What is Bret Hart's religious denomination?
JR, Will Raw ever feature more action and less talking? It seemed like over half of the show was spent on the mic. I don't tune in to see talking, I tune in for action.
First and foremost ...let's go Mountaineers! Secondly, I love the round table discussions on 24/7, recently you had the badasses of wrestling....where does Ken Shamrock fit in there? Thirdly Rich Rodriguez is a son of a b*$&@!!! And fourthly, I think The Rock most certainly should have been at XV. You may say he changed careers yada, yada, yada. I would venture to say that The Rock's biggest fanbase is still the wrestling fans, and if he can forget about us, I guess we could forget about him. Is there another page/blog site, where WWE fans could go to vent, instead of on your's? Vince likes to think he has his finger on the pulse, man after 30+ yrs. of watching and loving pro wrestling, It's starting (to me) to become stagnant and way too predictabe! God I miss the old territories! And for the readers.....WWE 24/7 is worth the extra $8.00 a month if its available in your area.
Is there anyway someone in charge can convince Randy Orton to do the Orton pose again?
Hey J.R, I was wondering what your personal opinion of Raw head writer Brian Gewirtz is? I've heard some former WWE superstars portray Mr. Gewirtz in somewhat of a negative light, so what do you think of him as a person? And what do you think of his abilities as a wrestling TV writer? Thanks, Drew M.
Why in the heck hasn't the Bastion Booger had a match for a long time? If he did, I'd enjoy it!
J.R., (Long time fan, first time comment;) as of now I don't think that the WWE can afford to survive WITHOUT RVD. As a property he (RVD) puts the ass*s in the seats and without a doubt he recieved the bigget pop of Monday. While I am happy that the Rock did not show, yes, I am not a Rocky' fan- I am saddened by the return of the man called Gillberg. It was without a doubt the most disappointing display of the night. In my opinion, the fan's dream would have been Goldberg knocking out Gillberg on his way down "The Long Walk" complete music change, the men holding sparklers on the top of the ramp run... you know... a real GOLDBERG entrance. (Can you tell who I'm a fan of?) Other than that, take care and Happy Holidays to you and your family.
I read that JBl wants to get back into wrestling again, and I was wondering who would replace JBL as announcer on Smackdown. You think 2 possibilities could be Tony Schavonie & Craig Minervini?
Bob Backlund looks to be in great shape! Any chance of WWE signing him?
Hey J.R. i just wanted to ask if you know how Matt Capotelli is doing these days? I'm so glad he has been able to move on from in his life and it really is an inspirational story. Also have a great holiday season and don't go eating too much turkey, Merry Christmas.
Hey JR, how's my favorite Oklahoman doing? I know you've been asked about TNA Wrestling before, but now they're gonna have a house show in Oklahoma City on January the 12th ... You Gonna go? I Know I am!
Who throws Stone Cold Steve Austin those beers? He/She/It has been so accurate for so many years. Is it the "timekeeper"?
J.R., What can you tell us about "Dry Aged Beef" it is something I have heard about and have thought about trying, but it sounds pretty complex. Have you ever tried it? Is it easy? Is it worth the trouble? Still waiting on a word about "Par-Boiling" too. What is the latest on the Boogeyman? I haven't seen him much. Any chance of seeing a Boogeyman Papa Shango tag-team?
Hi Jim, just a suggestion for your ever expanding food line. Dunno if you have them over in the US but over here we have a big thing for DRY roasted peanuts. I'd also bee intrigued as to what you could do with potato crisps, especially bbq flavour. Yum! Btw, and you may well have mentioned this before but are we likely to see your products in UK stores anytinme soon. Seeing how Walmart own Asda, maybe you could strike a deal with them. Anyway, wishg continued sucess with the business and look forward to you and King calling the Hardy/HHH match this Sunday. Go Jeff Go!
It was great seeing some of the past greats on the anniversary show. I was especially impressed with Sunny (who wasn't?) and Steve Blackman (he looked in great shape). Would there be any interest from the WWE in bringing these two superstars back.
Oh crap, one more thing! What was going through your head recently when Kennedy brought a fake Diesel and Razor to the ring during RAW? And whose idea was it when you did that back in the 90's? I know Diesel was played by Glen 'Kane' Jacobs, but who played the Razor part, and where is he now? Thanks and sorry for the split entries.
JR, a few questions... Have you read Bret Hart's book yet? I'm in the middle of it and find it highly entertaining and insightful. I appreciate Hart's honesty and warts-and-all approach, something not everyone is willing to do. It makes me miss his wrestling days dearly. Is there any chance of Jerry Lawler ever doing a heel announcing gig anytime at all? I found King's best work to have been when he was a heel to your face announcing. One always complemented the other and created some great fireworks. I find hearing both announcers swoon over the same ring performers to be lame at times, not discrediting either of you. Finally, WWE hasn't been to Canada, much less the Maritimes, in a long time, I know partially due to the Benoit tragedy. But don't you guys think you've waited long enough? You go overseas far more often than you simply come across the border. I'd love to bring my little girl to see the boys in action, which she watches every week with me on TV. Thanks for your time in reading this. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
hey jim do think sid will ever be able to come back to wwe? he looks like he is in great shape after breaking his leg years back. i know that he is interested and it would be a great acquisition for wwe. sid was probably the best big man to ever step foot in the square circle.
