J.R. Agrees to New Two Year Contract with the WWE.

A new, two year contract has been signed between Jim Ross and World Wrestling Entertainment. Ross, a 34 year veteran of pro wrestling/sports entertainment, is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame and has been with the company since debuting at Wrestlemania 9 in 1993. Ross and his fellow WWE Hall of Fame partner, Jerry “the King” Lawler, comprise the broadcast team on the WWE’s longest running, flagship broadcast, “Monday Night Raw” which airs live on the USA Cable Network every Monday night at 9/8 central time and globally in over 100 countries. No other details on the terms of the contract have been released.

Dear JR, With all due respect you and Jerry "the King" Lawler have been in the WWE for a long time and longer than most superstars. I think you deserve a longer contract andbecause look your a WWE Hall of Famer and most people who are in the hall of fame arent around anymore and you and "the King" are you do as much as you can for the WWE, you give all your respect to the fans superstars and the World. In my understanding you deserve way more. - Joe(a fan of Raw's comentary team)(the best ever)

Great news! For those of us "old school" fans especially -- in California, we had Dick Lane describing the action between Freddie Blassie and John Tolos -- it will be nice to have you around for at least a couple more years. You've been the best in the business for a long time, and you manage to make even the not-so-old-school matches come alive. Congrats!
