The C.M. Punk/Jeff Hardy issue is evolving at an interesting clip and I'm willing to bet a bottle of J.R.'s Original BBQ Sauce, available at www.jrsbarbq.com, that their World Title Bout at Night of Champions will be a gem dandy. Hardy seems to be feeling the pressure to win the World Title while Punk continues to play enough mind games to add to the youngest Hardy's angst. more »

It's good to be home after a challenging road trip smack dab in the middle of a helluva heat wave in California while producing LOTS of TV. There were plenty of weary folks on the tour by the time WWE arrived in Bakersfield on Wednesday night. Let me assure that it was HOT Tuesday in Fresno, HOT! As in 109 degrees. A small but lively crowd left their AC to come to the arena to see 3 TV shows be taped. Here's some BBQed randon thoughts...... ECW is going to be a mix of a handful of vets mixxing it up w/ several rookies. WWE has many, talented youngsters who will make ECW their home for the foreseeable future.This show will showcase their ever improving skills.w/ some talents winning, some losing and all of them improving. That's the goal. Got a feeling this show will be feast or famine w/ no lack of effort. more »

Hello from Fresno. Hope all are well. Here's some random thoughts. Need to buy a damn laptop...this Blacberry is hell on which to work. Loved the Jericho-Rey match at the Bash. Amazing stuff. Two, big time players delivered & their bout was challenging to follow. What's next for these two? The Edge/Jericho dynamic intriges me. Really happy that they're on SD. Expect them to be capable of adding to Raw as well. What's next for Teddy Long & Mr. McMahon? Jack Swagger showed flashes of why he's going to be a future star. more »

It is has been a scorching week here in Norman, Oklahoma with temps as I write this at 103 on our patio. It looks as if I won't be traveling to "cooler" weather as we head out to California for "the Bash" and other television projects through Wednesday night when we will be in Bakersfield. Business seems to be picking up in our store here on the website which is timely and appreciated. We have several items that make great gift ideas for a variety of occasions. Scorching, hot days here in Oklahoma is not doing the BBQ business any favors even though we have great a/c and the coldest beer in town. Thanks to having a convenient drive through, however, we are still "in the hunt." Next week we're scheduled to be in "only" the 90's. California Here We Come! Right back to where I started from as I was born in Fort Bragg, California and attended 4th grade in Santa Rosa, California. How's that for some useless trivia?! The Bash this Sunday in Sacramento will be as hot as the Oklahoma summer and yours truly has plenty of predictions for you to ponder. Here we go...

Five man scramble bouts are challenging to evaluate because they are so unpredictable but I'm going with the long shot in this one....Tommy Dreamer to surprisingly retain his beloved ECW Championship. Good things should happen to good people and that description certainly fits the veteran protege of WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk. Plus, Dreamer is pals with the New York Yankees Johnny Damon and that ought to count for something. If Stocky Balboa happens to end up in Dreamer's corner, stick a fork in the other four because they will be done. more »
