Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there and I will be spending my Father's Day in Long Island enjoying WWE's Fatal 4 Way via a locker room monitor. Should be fun. First WWE road trip since Bells palsy #3 in October.

We had a minor, computer glitch with PayPal orders recently but that has been rectified and those pending orders have been taken to Federal Express. The system wasn't showing the complete order but that issue has now been addressed. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused anyone paying with PayPal.

I don't know why more visitors to the site don't register so that they can contribute feedback and to the Q&A's. We don't sell these names, they are confidential and will never be used by anyone other than us. There are no security issues with registering here whatsoever.

Speaking of Q&A, I updated all that I could Saturday morning. Check 'em out. Remember to keep your questions short and succinct. Those tombs that start out with "I have three questions for you" are likely not going to make the cut.  You're better off sending three different albeit short questions.

WWEShop.com told me business was solid with our products no on line there. WWEShop.com is the only place that ships JR's Original Sauce internationally specifically to the UK, Canada, and Germany. WWEShop.com ships the Championship Original Beef Jerky only to Canada due to government regulations of the other countries in question.

Cool on line promo/feature on the new THQ/WWE video game WWE All Stars and the clip that I saw featured the Rock wrestling against John Cena. I have yet to begin the voice over work, at least my part of it, as of yet but expect to do so soon. The game looked very good from what I saw but I am far from an expert. I will have a better feel for my aspect of the game once I see the copy.

An emailer asked if I remembered the Austin-Tyson confrontation on Raw. Without question. It was at the old, small arena in Fresno on a hotter than hell day. Tyson came with a much larger entourage than humanly needed. Lots of hanger's on.' WWE had to get Mike a trailer to park outside the arena to use as his dressing room. We stayed at a hotel right across the street from the arena there in Fresno. The crowd was jacked when Austin and Tyson made contact with some of the most intense emotion that I can ever remember on Raw. The moment, the timing, the individuals involved, the entire package created a memory that all fans would enjoy seeing either again or for the first time. I also realized that day just how big a wrestling fan Mike Tyson is and, as I have mentioned, he is a great historian of the WWWF era of wrestling in the northeast.

It will be just like old times for the King and me on Sunday as we will take the short ride from our hotel to the arena for Fatal 4 Way together with King driving and me riding shotgun. King will be announcing and I won't but I'm sure that we will have a few laughs during the day as every one preps for the PPV. Going to a PPV and not working is a challenge for me but as the Great One said, "Know your role" and my role at ringside no longer exists but I do plan on helping the broadcasters as much as I can during the afternoon. It's called being a team player and there ain't no 'I' in team.

My new WWE Blog is currently live at wweuniverse.com. It's a fun, short read where I ask 10 questions and provide some predictions on the Fatal 4  Way. Just a hint of what's included....I don't like fellow Oklahoman Jack Swagger's chances in retaining the World Title. He's built no momentum going into the event to speak of. Also, contrary to what was said, Swagger NEVER won a Heisman Trophy. Stop the pain.

Emailer. ...if I could select one person for induction into the WWE Hall of Fame who would it be? That's a layup....Danny Hodge. The greatest living wrestler who's in every Hall of Fame for Wrestling, amateur and pro, and has the Division one Wrestler of the Year award, their 'Heisman,' named after him. It's humbling to know that so many Okies are in WWE's Hall of Fame and that Hodge isn't as he was the greatest of any Oklahoman by far not to mention competing in two Olympic Games, never losing or be taken down in college and then winning the United States national Golden Gloves Boxing Championship with no formal training.

The biggest reason that I'm appearing in Charlotte at the NWA Fan gathering in August for Greg Price is because of Danny Hodge. I always love meeting the fans, don't get me wrong, but Hodge was and still is my boyhood hero and is being honored Friday night of the event.

Regarding the Charlotte event, I had hoped to be able to sell autographed bottles of BBQ Sauce and/or bags of Beef Jerky but that has yet to be addressed throughly for those of you that are asking.

Be well to all and have a super weekend. Enjoy the Fatal 4 Way and if you have the time or inclination to place orders with us we will get them shipped on Monday. Thanks!!

Boomer Sooner!

Austin / Tyson:

Hi JR,

Just had a quick comment regarding the Austin / Tyson angle that took place on Raw. I attended the show since I live in the Fresno area. It was actually at the Selland Arena which hold's about 10,000 people and has been host to several Raw shows and PPV's over the years. The Raw show in which the Tyson/Austin angle took place was January 1998, during our winter season in Fresno. We are only hot in the summer months. Anyway, just wanted to mention the name of the arena. In 2004 the WWE started running shows from the new Save Mart Center arena on the campus of Fresno State but Selland Arena is still in operation in downtown Fresno. By the way, Fresno has been home of 2 Royal Rumble's with the 1994 Rumble taking place from the Selland Arena and the 2005 Rumble from the Save Mart Center. Anyway, just some trivia I thought I would share.

Take Care,

Jon Southerland

Hi J.R.,

I had registered to this site but accidentally deleted my password; I just took the time today to get that reset.

I thought I'd let you know I had a real nice surprise for my birthday recently.  My younger bro, Andy dropped by the law firm with what he said was a gift for my birthday.  He called when he arrived and imagine my surprise that I had a  box of goodies from your store (including the Chipotle Ketchup, BBQ Sauce, Beef Jerky, and an autographed cookbook)?  This definitely qualifies him as great brother....Of course I did not get the entire case as he did keep a few items for himself.  I do think we are stocked for the summer except for the jerky which seems to disappear when I take it to the office...Imagine that? LOL.

James, my partner and I are thoroughly enjoying all of the items and what a great read the cookbook is and some of those recipes are a definite must.  In our household, the one that has garnered the most compliments is Jan's Caesar salad.  It is quite delicious and please thank the Mrs. for us.

Happy Father's Day and enjoy your trip to Long Island for the pay-per-view.

people may not log on to your site because you started out sending emails a few weeks back I canceled my account at the time. the emails as I recall were annoying automatic and not very well done. I don't recall what they were about.

Love the site though love the bbq sauce..

When I reset this account to get a new password it asked me what 6+3 was when I mistyped and put in 8 it said welcome longhorn!

I have no idea of what emails you speak of but they just might have been to let you know that we had published a new blog, etc. You can't be getting tht many emails as you are the only person in over three years to even mention it.

Not having you doing any announcing at the PPV in my opinion continues the string of stupid decisions that Vince McMahon has made lately.  However, all will be forgiven if Bryan Danielson shows up in some capacity and you are revealed as the mastermind behind the NXT takeover; something similar to the character you played alongside Dr. Death would be epic.

I can go one better. The kings WWF prime was when he came from tennessee finally. My god that feud with bret was classic. The wrestling wasnt, but i still remember the raw(s) at the manhattan center where stu n helen were in the crowd, king went up there during brets match (maybe against samu?) and was just downright nasty to the harts on the mic. Lets not forget KOTR 93 where king jumped bret during coronation. Summerslam 93 where evil doink took his place. King was on fire! His calls on superstars and raw during that time were one of a kind! Hodge is legendary JR. I knew about the olympics...I wasnt aware of the golden gloves. Tyson Austin was classic stuff but lets not forget mr tyson callin him "my man cold stone" at rumble 97. not a "total" historian haha. Sent from my iPhone

Glad to hear your talents aren't going to be totally wasted on Sunday!

Out of interest, seeing as how you mentioned King...Is it just me, or has he lost his passion for the business? Or does the PG era stop him from being "himself"?

The reason I ask, as I am sure you (and surely he is) aware, his commentary is nowhere near as entertaining as it was when for instance you were sharing ringside with him. Perhaps it's a question of how he works with Cole, and the chemistry isn't the same, or it's how he has been asked to work...but in my honest opinion, King just doesn't have the same impact as he once had.

P.s.  Don't get me wrong, I'd still listen to him over Striker any day of the millenium!!!
