Bar-B-Qed Fan Feedback: Kramer- I have not heard from you since that stand up comedy routine you performed that went “south,” nonetheless, I do not see TNA on the same level at this time as WCW whatsoever. Not even close as Turner and Time Warner had much more resources. Ron- I am happy you enjoyed your Sooner experience in San Antonio. It was a heck of an atmosphere which is one of the many reasons I love attending college football games especially OU games. Many of my WWE-Texas colleagues love to pile on when the Sooners have a bad day, but I rarely retaliate and I chalk up their boorish behavior simply as being insecure and jealous. Eddie- I have no clue who is spreading the rumors of a potential Ric Flair vs. Sting match at Wrestlemania 24. I would be shocked if that bout is even being considered, much less if it would ever occur. I feel that it is wishful thinking on the part of some long time fans, and nothing more than that. Sign Guy- I have been fortunate to have been asked to write many forewords on a variety of books, but the toughest to write may have been “Brody” because it had been so long since Frank Goodish had passed away and I had to re-create some of the experiences we had together, but once they returned my interactions of years ago with Bruiser Brody became much clearer. I highly recommend reading “Brody” if you have the opportunity. TMW- The packaging of the Legends Roundtables into DVDs is an intriguing idea. (Webmaster says, “I’d buy them!) Paul Francis- Mr. McMahon is a shoo-in to be in the WWE Hall of Fame at any time. Love him or hate him no one can dispute Vince McMahon’s contributions to the wrestling business. I don’t know when, but I feel it is a guarantee that this will happen… perhaps at the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania in 2009. Leon-I would love more of The Sopranos, but without James Gandolfini the program would not survive long. Perhaps a full length feature film is possible but as far as a series back on TV I think the chances are slim and none and slim just left town. Same goes for another of my favorites, Deadwood. I just met actor W. Earl Brown who played Dan Dority on the show, and found out he is a long time fan. Earl recently sent me some cool Deadwood swag which just made me want to see more of the series. Nonetheless I have the Sopranos and Deadwood on DVD for a quick fix. Wildchild- I have no idea if there is going to be a Fan Axxcess or not at WM24, but I assume WWE Hall of Fame tickets will be available soon. Perhaps in the early part of 2008. Dr. Gonzo- With my schedule, as I have said before, I do not watch ROH DVDS and rarely watch a TNA broadcast. In my current role, I am not scouting talent, but I would assume someone at the WWE watches these programs to scout prospective new hires. Some idiot will take my busy schedule as a sign of me “losing my passion,” which is absolutely brilliant. Not. Godz- I have a feeling we will do more “Badass” Legends Roundtable discussions and perhaps get back to Vader, who was extremely physical back in the day. Vader was the most athletic big man I ever saw in the business. The Vader-Hanson slugfest was the match that helped me facilitate getting both hired for a time in the old WCW. Jeremy- Ohio State will have a challenging night in New Orleans against LSU who can take a short bus ride to the game. LSU’s overall team speed will be hard for the Buckeye’s to defend. I lean towards LSU in their backyard on this one. Jeffro- I have never been to Shealy’s BBQ in South Carolina, but would love to try it someday. Johnny- The BCS system in college football sucks and a playoff system is LONG past due. Many- Having Wrestlemania outdoors in Milwaukee in March isn’t too likely. I always thought that Molly Holly was underutilized. Malachi- I never knew that the WWE had plans for Mr. Kennedy to headline WM24. That’s news to me. Kirk Herbstreit is a great guy and I heard he gave me a shout out during the OU-Mizzou game, but Brent Mushberger is a classic old school, main stream sports announcer and those guys rarely acknowledge that wrestling even exists, which is sad. Fred- HBK taking Cena to the next level is NOT a knock on Cena whose work and work ethic I respect. But make no mistake about it, HBK was the veteran leader of that contest but I will agree that it takes two to tango. Cena’s work in the ring is often under appreciated but HBK is largely in a league of his own these days when it comes to bell to bell wrestling. Dr. Z- We are waiting on you to visit us up here in Norman. The drive from Denton will take no time and we like to think our groceries are worth the drive, much like the Brisco Brothers Body Shop. kidmachismo- John Cena is far from one dimensional, but some internet fans will never cut John any slack. That’s simply the way it is. John’s best in ring days definitely lie ahead of him. I saw John recently and he looks really good, is ahead of schedule and will get more news on where he stands medically within the next couple of weeks. I look for John to be back maybe by WM24 but more than likely afterwards. That is simply speculation as only the Good Lord knows for sure how fast Cena will finish the healing process. Solo-Chances of seeing Owen Hart in the WWE HOF someday? Excellent. The chances of seeing Angle, Lesnar, and Goldberg in the WWE again? Slim. JohnMan- To the best of my knowledge, HBK and The Rock has never been in the ring together under any situation. It is “highly unlikely” that they ever will. Darren- After being a part of over 700 Raw Broadcasts it would be impossible for me to name the best match I ever saw on the show. Impossible and unfair to so many deserving men and women. However, I can eliminate yours truly and the train wrecks I personally participated in from any consideration. Can you say “cow on ice” as in I did not belong on that stage? A wrestling internet site, some are so warm and fuzzy, even named my “Country Whippin’ bout with Coach in Chicago as the worst match of the year. They were probably right, too. Adam- As I write this, I am a Hatton “lean” vs. Mayweather this weekend simply because it “appears” that Mayweather is taking Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton lightly. If so, that is a bad mistake but would lead to a huge return bout. Hugh- There is some casual talk of J.R. doing some Bar-B-Q oriented work for the Food Network in 2008 if schedules can be worked out. Time will tell. This matter is only in the talking stage and I don’t actually know how much more I can stack on my plate, no pun intended. Joshua Featherson- Take it easy my friend – and have a sip of Sanka (like I used to say to Paul Heyman/Dangerously). I don’t even know what your question is, but you acting like you’re 12 doesn’t become you. Plus threatening me to not do any shopping here isn’t exactly intimidating as you can shop wherever you damn well please. However, if you reconsider, we do appreciate yours and everyone’s business. You get a “Lighten up Francis” from me for your tirade. SoonerFan Man- We close at 9 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday because that is when the place usually clears out. We tried and our business in the 9-10 p.m. hour on those days do not merit staying open later. Everyone doesn’t like the sound turned up on any TV show, including Raw or even OU football while they are eating. We aren’t a sports bar in that respect. Thanks for all the feedback and for your business. Don’t forget you still have time to do some shopping with us and we will do our dead level best to ship it out within hours. Keep your feedback coming!! BOOMER SOONER! J.R.

I learned many things about this facts while I was working for Trianz. I also learned there how to manage a large company and how to make money and I am really proud of that I can say. Some of you might be interested in this matters so feel free to check up more things about it.

Hi JR, As a kid, I loved wrestling. I grew up in a small Canadian town, bought every wrestling book there was. Thats how I followed wrestling as we did not have cable in my town and when it was finally available we could not always afford it. I dreamed of being a wrestler. I have lost touch with wrestling, as many of my favorites are gone. Only Ric Flair is left, when hes not on the show I don't watch. I knew that Steve Williams was fighting cancer however I thought wrestlers made more money that they could spend in 2 lifetimes. I was really wrong. I was sad to learn that Steve had to sell property etc to pay his medical bills. And at this stage in his career thats so sad. Its sad when something bad happens to your hero's. I heard that he was doing some training with the WWE so at least he was making a living to support his son. Then I read on the internet that he was let go. All I can do to help is ask people or his friends like you to help. He has a book out, maybe a plug on Raw or even if you could mention it on your Web site. I wish that could do more to help him. Hopefully his real friends that CAN help will. Please, help the Doc. Sincerely Paul God Bless You JR.

First of all it's "FEATHERSTON" not "Featherson". I asked you a question in one of your football blogs. Hell, only two people left comments. Myself and someone else. I just wanted to know what your feelings were. By the by, I don't drink coffee. =) Especially not Sanka. =) Haha, acting like I'm 12? This coming from the man who I've admired since before I was 12? Tsk Tsk James. I understand you are a great man with a beautiful wife. When you were inducted into the HOF I almost shed tears. However, I saved those for Mr. (Curt Hennig) Perfect. I simply would have liked an answer to my question. If you don't give a damn if I shop from your store well that's your loss ($). It's odd when you finally got to something of mine it was me blasting you. All the other times when I was very cordial and polite you (or your webmaster) brushed me aside. I think my questions are important. If you don't want to answer them that's all you. By the way I am far more devious and "dangerous" than Paul E. By the by, if someone has an idea for the WWE do they actually read them? Or is that a crock of "JR's BBQ Sauce"? Don't get me wrong, I love the WWE. I won't watch any other sports entertainment with it having the unique WWE intro. However, has WWE ever thought of holding a writing contest? Similar to the Diva Search or Tough Enough? You know actually giving a fan a chance to let his/her creative juices flow? I think it would be a good idea. What do you think and don't tell me to have a Sanka. In other words, I am sorry JR. and would like to shake your hand. ::shakes your hand and as your turn you get sweet chin music:: lol Sorry hadd to add that. By the way, had your peanuts, you need to make them in a more mild yet still spicey way. I'm a Buckeye that doesn't like having my tongue sear, forehead sweat and eyes water. By the way Sopranos was great, last episode sucked. Deadwood in it's first season was good, then it lost me. If you want to see a good HBO show watch Big Love or The Wire. One last wrestling related topic. BRING BACK SUNNY. I can see that it looks like it's heading that way. But Good GAWD. She seems to have exercised her demons and is ready for another BIG RUN. For all of us fans that were there for "The Golden Age of Wrestling" "The New Generation" "The Atitude era" until now GIVE US SUNNY. TALK TO WHO YOU NEED TO TALK TO!! I know you still have some influence even though you are not the head of talent relations any longer. Get on Johnny Ace's ass and tell him She knows we want her....and YES WE DO! One thing I will say if you were still in charge of talent relations, you would bring her back. Because you are smart. Smart enough to realize that you don't want to lose a customer either!! hehe. Next time Raw Heads to Cleveland or Youngstown. I'll be there and introduce myself. You'll realize I'm not such a bad guy. We'll leave that up to Scott Hall for no showing events. Take care and have a Merry X-mas.

I thought the raw anniversary show was good on a whole. It was a little corny at times but that was to be expected. Is it just me or was that not the real "repo man"? As I recall the original repo man was played by a member of "demolition". Now unless the original guy has really let himself go, and I apologize in advance if he has, that was not him. Also I find it odd that as much as the people here are knocking the rock for not being on the show they are forgeting about one of the biggest divas in recent memory. I'm talking about "stacy keibler". I missed her appearance on the show. And I must agree with others here that "sunny" looked as good as I remember.

hey jr! i just watched wrestlemania 23 over the weekend and i took a note on the undertaker vs batista match. i noticed you slammed your fist when taker connected the tombstone on batista. tell me, how happy where you personally for the undertaker when he was once again a champion. it was almost five years when he last won it and i from the stories i heard from you guys there you make it sound like the undertaker is a role model of boys backstage..thanks jr and more power to you!

Normally, I am the last person in the world to agree with "Triple H"... but I have to agree. Jericho's return has been pretty dull. And could someone keep the mic out of that man's hand? His promos are God-awful. And did Richard Simmons dress him? I was expecting a sleek black Matrix style Jericho considering his "code" videos. I mean the Rivethead thing worked for Alex Wright. Surely even "Why?-2-J" could pull that off. But sequins? And his rhyming "off" with "off" over and over again on Raw was beyond retarded. Chris. Buddy. Shut. Up. Go change your clothes and stay off the microphone. Capiche?

J.R, On the McMahon DVD I hear you say that during the Montreal Screwjob Vince McMahon was "outed" as the owner but if I had to credit anyone with the "genesis" of Mr McMahon besides what happened in Montreal it would be your ill-fated heel turn in September 1996 which in my opinion makes you the first person who acknowledged Mr McMahon as the owner but MrMcMahon was still a "good guy" in 1996 and the "Montreal Incident" eventually led to the evil MrMcMahon who unlike in 1996 reviled in being MrMcMahon.

Hello, Seeing how most of Hulk Hogan's former enemies were inducted when Hogan was inducted into the Hall of Fame, what are the chances that Rick Steamboat, Rick Rude, Rick Martel, Ted DiBiase, and most likely Arn & Ole, Tully, and Barry Windham could all be inducted with Flair, when he is inducted sooner or later? Danny

JR, Do ypu believe Hogan's Savage impersonation on Monday to have been written into the show ahead of time, or merely ad-lib? Either way, what were we supposed to take from it...I'm not sure i "dug it"...

Hey Jr Do you think we will ever see dallas hart vs reid flair?

Hi JR, What are your thoughts on Scott Norton? Also, I was a little surprised to see Drew McIntyre called up to the main roster instead of Burchall even though Burchall was working dark matches with Dave Taylor. As an (English) Brit, I would love to see Burchall recalled but I do like the look of McIntyre. Do you believe that that this is one of the stongest set of British wrestlers (inc. Regal, Finlay, Highlanders) that has ever been seen in WWE? Happy Christmas!! Nick

On WWE.com they have a "Champions of Raw" section to celebrate the RAW XV show. It was a good show, no doubt about it. But I could've sworn Chris Benoit was also a "champion of raw" (2004). Odd that he'd be left out of that list. Perhaps at some point in the future, his time as champion will be totally erased & there will be a mysterious "title vacated" period?

There are a few rumors going around that CM Punk was drinking a beer at the end of RAW this week? Is it true? I would believe he didn't but there's a side of me that has to know for sure.

JR. Just wanted to send my thanks to you and everyone else involved in Raw XV. I sat 4 rows behind you for Monday's show. It was great to see all the old faces there, especially Barry Darsow. I was also exceptionally lucky to have CM Punk and Gerry Brisco give me thumbs up at the end of the night for having a "Bring out Ricky Steamboat" sign. The work that went into that show was astonishing. The high school students I teach went absolutely crazy for all the pictures from the show that I brought into school today. Just wondering what your own favorite memory of the show was? Thanks!

mr. ross, thanx for the awesome show monday nite. it was entertainment as usual. i was wondering if there is a "rise and fall of wcw" dvd in the work or if you've heard word of such a thing. i really like how that story ends...haha. since you don't check out tna that much, let me tell you..it's horrible. nothing makes sense. even lance storm has given up watching it. as far as booker t going to tna, i'm sure it was because he didn't want to fail the wellness program again..so he can go down to tna and shoot up all he wants.

JR, why hasn't WrestleMania been to New Orleans yet? I think the Superdome would be a great place for the big show. And it would really help the city big in a lot of revenue. -Tracey

Greetings JR This my first time ever posting on your blog and so far, iv been havin fun readin everyones comments. Ok my question is abit bizar and extremely unlikely... But at the rate TNA are robbing talent off WWE (Christian Cage, Dudleys, Steiner, and now Booker?) Will Vince ever declair war against TNA? Will it be WCW vs. WWF/E all over again? Another thing... Wheres Heyman these days cause honestly, ECW is nothin with out em' Have a nice day!

J.R., I hope all is well with your family and friends in the Oklahoma area after the ice storm, on the news it looks horrible there. Having been through two I know they are not fun and quite dangerous. My question is this, do you ever see Ric Flair's son Reid follow in his dad's footsteps? I love the nature boy and he has left a profound mark on this business. Also, how would one send a letter to Flair, or any of the superstars? Thanks and take care.

Hey, I always wanted to know why does The rock want to do anymore wrestling. I beleve that if you cut out of what makes you, then your doom to fail. Do you think that he will change his mind one day and suprises us all?

Yo JR, Loving the blog but you said... JohnMan- To the best of my knowledge, HBK and The Rock has never been in the ring together under any situation. It is “highly unlikely” that they ever will. Well, what about Triple H vs. Rock at Judgment Day when the undertaker came back and HBK was the ref. And he also was the special referee at another match during HHH and the rock on Smackdown. If you meant if they have ever wrestled then fair enough, my bad. Was also wondering if it is true that WWE are now going to edit out anything to do with Chris Benoit in their home videos.

The 15th Anniversary Edition of Raw was spectacular! I liked how the show started with a montage of the past opening videos for Raw. I was pumped up after seeing the Attitude Era opening video. That reminded me of the heyday of wrestling where virtually one out of every ten people I saw walking down the street, in school, or other public places would be wearing an Austin 3:16 or DX T-shirt. Ah, those were the days… The opening segment with the “family portrait” was pretty funny. I thought I knew virtually all of the old wrestlers there, but who is Knuckleball Shwartz? The Ladder Match was the most exciting match of the night. I just hope Jeff Hardy isn’t going to be wheelchair bound when he gets older. I was totally stoked to see RVD return to decimate Santino. RVD is one of my all time favorite wrestlers. The six man Evolution reunion Match was cool from a perspective of how many future hall of fame members were in the match. It was fun to see The Hulkster make his return. I will be watching American Gladiators when it comes back in January because I was a fan of the original series. I thought the 15 man Battle Royal was one of the best parts of the show. I was happy to see how many of the previous generations were represented, even if the crowd seemed rather blasé. I was especially delighted to see Bart Gunn, Steve Blackman, Bob Backlund, The Repo Man, and the others. But none of them matched the aura, tenacity, and charisma of… GILLBERG!!! I remember Duane Gill from when I was younger because he is from Maryland and there is a huge shortage of wrestlers from the Baltimore-D.C. metro area. I’ve always enjoyed Eric Bischoff’s authority figure heel persona… the business could use more people like him. It was great to see Lita and Trish again. On a side note, am I the only one entertained by Jillian Hall? Kennedy vs. Jannetty was okay, although I think the 1980’s wants Jannetty’s ring gear back. The closing segment was a nice way to finish the show. There’s nothing wrong with a good ol’ fashioned beer bash. The only question that remains is… where was The Rock? P.S. I hope this gets posted, even though it’s 405 words long. It’s just hard to sum up three hours in a few sentences.

What did Hulk Hogan's "Never say never, oooooh yeahhh" comment mean on Raw on Monday? Can Savage's return be on the horizon?

JR, again with the Patterson comments on Monday...love it!

Jimbo, what was with Hogan's Savage impersonation this past Monday? Was that mean to be a dig on the Madness or a 'shout out'????

Hey, J.R, I had a couple of questions. 1.) Is there any chance of that 15th anniversary RAW being released on DVD? It was, in my opinion, the best RAW I've seen in years, and I was happy to see it. 2.) Do you think that the Dolphins will go 0-16?

Hi JR, I want to thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to interact with your many fans. My question to you is, do you feel HHH's relationship with Stephanie is a conflict of interest? And do you feel his legacy will forever be clouded by the fact that no one will ever truly know what he would have become had he been "on his own"? I'm not questioning his talent, I just question whether or not his relationship with Stephanie provides him with an unfair advantage amongst the other athletes? One thing's for sure, it must make for some pretty interesting backstage politics.

Hi JR loved the RAW 15th Special I knew it was gunna be good but that was something else!!! I just wanted 2 know what your thoughts on when Hulk Hogan said "And Never say Never OHHH YEAH"??? Could this possibily indicate A long awaited Rematch between the real life rivals of The Hulkster and The macho Man, Hulkamania vs The Madness! possibly at WM24. I know its wishful Thinking but in This Bussiness NEVER SAY NEVER!!! Can u Dig it JR cus I sure can OHHH YEAHH SNAP INTO IT!!! P.S please ask Vince 2 Rehire Gillberg!!!

The rock's failure to appear last Monday night was disturbing to say the least. Does he not think that the Millions ( and millions) of the Rock's fans got his start in Rockwood ( Hollywood) because of the WWE ? I believe he owed it to the WWE and more important THE FANS to make an appearance . I have been told that he wants to forget his Wrestling past and concentrate on Hollywood ( Those alimony payments are gonna be expensive ) but Rock all of your fans were smelling what your cookin and it is NOT Jr's barbeque for certain !!! Your thoughts JR ? Jim

Wow... That was one helluva show you guys pulled last monday night. Triple H was funny as hell and it was nice to see some faces from the past as well. Especially RVD, Marty Jannetty and of course The Immortal Hulk Hogan... Oh almost forgot Sunny, Trish and Lita there... Pure entertainment in it's finest form. Thank you very much and keep up the good work.

Come on JR TNA does not has turner money. Do be so hard on them look at the new ecw it feels like Shotgun Saturday Night.

JR. Very Happy Holiday Wishes !! I always appreciate your time on here. Three quick comments. 1) Save yourself some grief and state that you will no longer respond to or speculate on who should be in the hall of fame, nor why the Rock does or doesn't do something. This would save alot of time and space. 2) Is it just me or am I being required to suspend my disbelief more and more now in viewing the WWE? People who betrayed others are all friends again, huge gaps in history appear from nowhere. WWE needs a continuity director badly. 3) I've had some drinking binges in my life but never was my vision so blurred to think "The Fink" or Bastion Booger or Patterson etc would be good dates. Vince must drink Everclear by the gallon.. WOW ! Danny Hodge save us all !!

Hey J.R., Congrats on another great show last Monday. It was great to see so many talent all together again, which leads to my question... After seeing people in the ring that actually looked in good shape like Steve Blackman, Scotty 2 Hotty and Rob Van Dam (I was very impressed by Steve Blackmans performance and also Van Dams Frog Splash was amazing), do you think WWE could re-sign these characters and what the chances are of them returning full-time ?

Just a quick question JR, im sure others have asked but was that the return of RVD i saw last night? Great show by the way :)

JR, I also agree the 15 year show ws awesome, but I was surprised by the absence of John Cena being there live. Although he is recovering from an injury, I expected him to have some kind of a live role on the show. Any insight on this thought?

WHY IS WRESTLING NOT THE SAME AS IT WAS 8-10 YRS AGO IT IS NOT AS INTERESTING?

Hi JR, I hope your well? What a show on Monday night, brought back lots of memories and made me smile on many occasions! How good was it to see Hogan on Raw, I think thats just what he needed during this tough time for him. Also Bischoff reminded everyone of what we are missing, he was the best GM in recent years! The Rock and HBK have been in the ring together I believe on one occasion! The Rock vs Triple H (I think)on Smackdown years ago and HBK was the special referee and super kicked the Rock. Takecare Darren

reform the rockers for a ROCKERS VS HARDY BOYS dream match at wrestlemania cause the tag situation is dire. and bring back the rock, is he aware on how many people want him back

J.R, a very small point..the only time i remember seeing the rock and HBK in the ring together was when HBK refereed a title match between the Rock and HHH on an early Smackdown in 1999 i think. He screwed the Rock by delivering sweet Chin Music and allowing HHH to pick up the win.I thought HBK was gonna return for a match with the Rock but as we all know it was a few years before He would return to the ring. That match for me is still one of the highlights of Smackdown's history:-)

I'm actually sad that no one else seems to have noticed on the Raw special the thing that made me mark out the most; Doink wasn'y Lombardi, it was Matt Motherf**king Borne! I LOVED the original Doink, all psychotic and gleefully lethal, and I know those eyes from having met Matt several times in person here in BC Canada wrestling for Gorgeous Michelle's WCCW/ECCW. (Yes I know, shockingly original league initials.) I know you're not in the hiring department anymore but please JR, ply some influence and see if you can get Matt a contract! He's been clean a good few years, and deserves a shot. And really, no one, not even Taker, can do an "I'm f**ked in the head and will hurt you" stare like Borne could.

HBK and The Rock interacted in the ring during a Triple H-Rock match on Smackdown. I remember because HBK wasn't an active wrestler at the time but that was as close as we, the fans, ever came to seeing HBK vs. The Rock. I was wondering how you felt about The Rock not being a part of Raw. I never expected Bret Hart to show up, or any TNA wrestler (would've been nice to have Nash, Angle and Christian on) on Raw, but Rock wouldn't be where he is now if it wasn't for the WWE.

Last Night's Raw was soooooooo amazing. That's the most exciting time I had watching raw since the "Attitude" era. The only thing that would have made the night better would have been "The Rock" appearing Live. It seems like The Rock has developed a "DIVA" like attitude. It's dissapointing when a person can't even show up for the anniversary of a show and company that made him. If it wasn't for WWE The Rock wouldn't even be a movie star today. The Rock has turned his back against the WWE and it's fans, although he will swear up and down that he hasn't. I'm glad that the people that actually still have a passion for wresting attended last night's Raw. Thanks J.R.

Awesome Raw last night best Raw I've ever seen. Just when I thought I knew it all RVD came back let me tell you it is hard to get suprised anymore because of the storylines, but his presence I did not expect. Thank you for RVD and will he return to WWE?

Dear Jim Out of curiosity. how far ahead does the WWE keep the show written? after one wrestlmania is over do you write the entire series for the next year to lead up to the next wrestlmania or do you write a month ahead of your current show? something i'm interested in. thank you...

JR- 1-Is there a possibility that the WWE might release a Ken Burnseque History of Professional Wrestling Documentary in the future? 2-When are we going to see Georgia Championship Wrestling on WWE 24/7, and maybe a DVD documentary similiar to the forthcoming WCCW piece? 3-Will there be a seperate Diva brand show in the future? 4-Why is Backlund degregated to the status of a goof when the effectiveness of his "personality" wore off in 1996? He should be presented as "the" classic champion in the lineage, especially since Sammartino and the WWE are divided. The effort to keep him in this position underminds the product-showing the world that professional wrestling is nothing but a carney freakshow rather than the multivarious sports entertanment product it is on the best of days. A straight spoken, no frills Backlund in some official role would legitamize wresling to the degree that Gordon Solie did during the days of Championship Wrestling from Florida. When has Bob Backlund merchandise ever substantiated this freak gimmick of someone who ran for the United States Senate no less? 5-It seems to me that McMahon, "The Evil Owner." gimmick has lost its effectiveness to this point, and that the exploding limo resurrection attempt is well past its course. 6-Would there be a notion of Sports Entertainment without Muhammed Ali? Was he not the greatest Sport's Entertainer? Indeed Ali's apperance on WWE television after the end of his fighting days, even before WrestleMania I, and McMahon's involvement in boxing events in his younger days seem to indicate this fact. Thank you

Hi Jr. The Raw Special was excellent. It was so good seeing all those former stars again. Alot of good memories there. I was really disappointed that the Rock did not make an appearance though. :( I understand he is a movie star now, but surely a single nights appearance wouldn't have hurt? I'm sure even a video segment with have been most appreciated by the fans. He still remains one of my favourite wrestlers though, and that's unlikely to change. When can we expect a Rock dvd set?

RAW last night was simply AMAZING, and I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I wish it would've been a longer show then 3 hours 20 minutes. It was great seeing all those faces, but at the same time sad because it was just a one night thing for most of them. I'm just wondering who's call was it to have Steve Lombardi come out as Knuckleball and not the Brawler?

Why weren't Bobby Heenan or Mean Gene Okerlund on the anniversary show? Also, it would've been nice to see the original announcers from the very first episode get together in the ring last night.. Randy Savage, Vince McMahon and the guy with the glasses.

Seeing the RAW anniversary show brought back a lot of good memories. What do you think the chances of familiar faces like Sunny, Marty Jannetty and participants of the legends battle royal have at coming back to the WWE full time again? Steve Blackman, Bart Gunn, Skinner, Bob Backlund look in great shape! Also, what's up with the Hulkster giving us a Randy Savage tease, brother? :)

If your BBQ is as awesome as u and others here say, I think its time for a THROWDOWN with Bobby Flay!.

hey jr, i just flown back to england from the hatton fight in vegas, do you think a documentary in the style of the hatton -mayweather 24-7 series would be a good way to promote a match at a wrestlemania one year? my voice is still hoarse, hatton is still a true legend!!
