It’s Beef Jerky Time.. Sauce Business is Picking Up… Hall of Fame Feedback… Adrian Peterson… Chipotle is Good… International PPV

Thanks for checking us out today and for telling a friend about our site. We are growing and that is thanks to all of you!

Let’s address some matters that seem to pop up time and again:

At this time, the Federal Government of the United States prohibits the shipping of liquid or meat products abroad. That means we cannot ship our sauces or beef jerky to countries outside the USA at this time. We are looking into this matter as thoroughly and as quickly as we can, to attempt to find a solution to this issue.

We know we can find a solution, but it takes time when working with the government. In the meantime, we can ship our merchandise anywhere in the world. Will the WWE ever hold another PPV - possibly even a Wrestlemania – outside the USA? I am not in the decision making loop on this matter and am likely not going to be again, but an educated guess would be “yes” on both questions. If you ask me when, I will once again say I am not in the loop on this aspect of WWE business and my “guess” is just what the word entails. I do think as time goes on, the global exposure of the WWE will continue to grow which means more TV shows taped abroad and subsequent PPVs occurring in parts of the world outside of America.

The Beef Jerky is in stock and is awesome. It turned out better than I expected for our “first batch”. There will be info elsewhere on the site soon to address ordering. It’s healthy, flavorful and affordable.

Well over 17,000 fans attended the live WWE event in San Juan this week which is big-time. I understand the live event was a good one and that Carlito really turned it on in his “home town”. The WWE personnel that were there were ecstatic with the crowd response and the energy level in the arena. That was a Raw show by the way, that did this business.

Mickie James narrowly escaped serious injury Monday night on Raw when she landed dangerously on her head and neck. I am happy to say Mickie dodged a dangerous bullet. Again, for the record, I do not have a WWE Hall of Fame vote and cannot answer any questions as to why a particular individual is or isn’t in the WWE Hall of Fame. One more time, no vote… and no answers. I really enjoy reading your thoughts on this subject and appreciate your passion, but when you ask me direct questions you know I don’t have an answer to, it becomes a little frustrating. I will never knock an individual for being inducted, as I never perceive it that Superstar “x” is inducted over your personal favorite who isn’t going in with the current class. I.E. I find it ridiculous that some people lambaste Jerry Lawler’s induction into the Hall of Fame simply because Randy Savage apparently isn’t going in this year. (Or is he??) There are lots of wrestlers who deserve to be honored in the WWE Hall of Fame and I am sure in time that those that deserve it most will be enshrined. I hope that all of you that seem so passionate about particular individuals going into the Hall of Fame are as passionate about your own personal and professional lives. If you are, then you receive a hardy, Boomer Sooner from Ol’ J.R. Seriously, I hope that each of you show the passion in your real lives that you demonstrate on our site. If you do, then the world becomes a better place for all of us especially if we all have our priorities in place. I have to admit, I have not always had my priorities where they should be but I have and will continue to work hard on making sure they are at this stage of the game. It all about having the proper balance in one’s life and to prioritize what is truly important like your Faith, your health, and your family. I used to be about wrestling 24/7 and that mindset did me no favors. Don’t get me wrong – I am still a wrestling junkie, but I also have diversified my interests I.E. our new Bar-B-Q place which opens in mid-May in Norman, Oklahoma.

On to other things…

I did some work on the next major WWE/THQ video game Thursday night for several hours. I won’t let the cat out of the bag, but this game is going to be “very interesting” and leave it at that.

Not all of our sauces are Chipotle flavored. We have one Bar-B-Q sauce with Chipotle added and the ketchup is Chipotle flavored. Both are “Main Event” level products. Chipotle, for the uneducated, adds spice to the products, but not heat like Tabasco would. Also, we ship our products in glass bottles which doesn’t do the shipping costs any favors, but putting them in plastic bottles at this time is not feasible.

Will Hulk ever come back to the WWE? I have no clue. I would not bet against it however, based on prior history. Nonetheless I am not expecting to see Hogan at Wrestlemania 23. Please don’t post a comment that you were only going to watch Wrestlemania IF Hulk was wrestling. It’s Wrestlemania and it’s going to be special and has never been about just one individual, in all due respect.

Bruce- I am sure all the Savage fans appreciate your candid thoughts to Mr. McMahon, but I seriously doubt if the Chairman of the WWE ever visits our site. But who knows, he may be enjoying our sauces on his grilled chicken breast as we speak.

Matt- I have not seen the 4 Horseman DVD yet, but I know all that were interviewed for it, including J.J. Dillon among others, so I have high expectations for this DVD release. Paul-I agree that a Fantasy Wrestling Camp is an interesting concept, and like baseball, might have potential.

Tyler- In my opinion, Ric Flair is a lock to go into the WWE Hall of Fame, as is Dick the Bruiser.

Victor, I am not sure about the Great Muta but who knows?

Dennis- I like the team of Demoliton, but I am predicting that the LOD, among several other teams, will be inducted prior to Demolition. Again these are simply personal opinions and not based on any official Hall of Fame info or any dislike that I have for Demolition (I don’t have any).

Skip- I too, am enjoying the ECW Originals vs. The ECW New Breed storyline. It gives the show an enhanced focus and is an easy storyline to follow. It also facilitates the introduction of some new talents to the viewer and ECW fans. Tuesday nights on Sci-Fi is still a work in progress, but I am a loyal viewer and that is a fact.

Adam- Don’t be mislead by Adrian Peterson’s “injury issues”. None of AD’s injuries were “football serious” as in “no knee issues”. Peterson may be the best player in the draft, but an argument could be made certainly for other great college football players like Georgia Tech’s Calvin Johnson. AD will be a great pro. Thursday I had a conversation with OU Coach Bob Stoops and former Heisman Trophy winners Steve Owens and Billy Sims who all agreed that AD has the tools to be a great NFL back but they all hoped Peterson would go to a team with a decent O-Line. Adrian may be the most “driven” athlete to play at OU in years and AD’s desire to be great combined with being 6’2” and 220 pounds all the while being able to run a 40 in 4.29 (AD ran a 4.38 at the NFL combine) makes Peterson an amazing prospect. AD is one of the best kids I have gotten to know since he arrived here in Norman. He will soon be a rich man too.

Happy Birthday Adam! Who could put more beer away Steve Austin or Steve “Dr. Death” Williams? I would have to go with Austin on the volume of beers he could consume back in his heyday. Steve Austin is much more health conscious these days as evidenced by how he looked on Raw last week. Steve still works out in a serious way as does the good doctor who is now over two years cancer-free and looks like a SUV again. For those who don’t believe in miracles for whatever reason, I wish you would take a good look at Doc and please be sure and check out his new book. Miracles do happen. Trust me on that one.

Everrude-Do any wrestlers ever read our site. Probably.

Ford- Absolutely, the best wrestling personas are merely extensions of the individual’s natural personality, but only amplified.

Rickie- I have officially heard ZERO about Todd Grisham replacing Joey Styles on ECW. I have read vague internet rumors about this matter but I honestly find those particular rumors laughable. Todd may be a great play-by-play announcer some day, I hope he is, but Joey does an excellent job on ECW and continues to improve in a different system than he functioned in when the old ECW was around.

Aaron- Being a fellow Bell’s palsy sufferer, I can obviously relate to your plight. My advice is to simply stay positive and never feel sorry for yourself. Plenty of folks have health issues that make Bell’s palsy look like a walk in the park. I can’t tell you how self conscious I have been at times including announcing at Wrestlemania one year after being on the sideline with my 2nd bout with Bells. I was more scared to be introduced and to be see by our fans on that day and to call the main event at `Mania than perhaps any other day of my career. I realize I am not “supposed to be” on TV being a Bell’s palsy sufferer. Believe me I have been reminded of that more than once. But I say differently and I will never use Bell’s palsy as an excuse for not being successful. If we all stay positive and truly believe in ourselves we can accomplish anything we chose to do. That I believe with all my heart. Hang in there Aaron and don’t put limits on yourself and if people have personal issues because of how you “look” then those people don’t deserve your attention or time of day.

Boxie- I remember being on Family Feud with the late Ray Combs who was a big wrestling fan and told some great “dirt” on Bob Barker of The Price is Right. According to the late Ray Combs, Mr. Barker was quite the ladies man in his day. My opposition from GLOW was Jackie Stallone who, how do I politely say this, wasn’t real quick on the trigger when we went head to head. I remember Brian Pillman had a helluva time in L.A., as in all night long, while we were there to record all 5 episodes in one recording session. Brian always discovered new ways to enjoy himself where ever he went and if one could hang, one could tag along. Damn I miss that guy.

Tim- Will there be a Starrcade PPV in the WWE? Not likely, but who knows? Starrcade had significant name identity once upon a time. Is Time Warner Cable going to carry WWE 24/7? I will have to check that one out. I would assume they will. I subscribe via Cox Cable here in Oklahoma. I see every major cable company carrying WWE 24/7 eventually.

Matt-Who will be commentating at Wrestlemania? All three teams from Raw, Smackdown, and ECW, as best as I know. For the matches involving multiple brands, such as the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, I would assume those assignments will be made the week of the event. Who knows, maybe all three teams will broadcast Money in the Bank which would be a train wreck in itself much like the crash and burn scenario the match is likely to be.

We’ve got more to come, so please come back and visit us soon. Don’t forget to check out our photo gallery and online store. We really appreciate your support of the site via our store. Plus we get great feedback on the photo gallery! Every time I look at it – I have another great memory pop into my mind.
