J.R.’s Autographed Cookbooks Selling Big Time.. OU vs. Texas is Finally Here.. Today’s Special: Bar-B-Qed Feedback!

My thanks to the many of you that are taking advantage of autographed “J.R.’s Cookbook” offer. We are selling a bunch of books and will maintain this offer while supplies last. Many fans are using these books as holiday gifts which is a neat idea. Check it out here on the site at our on line store along with our offers for Sauces, Beef Jerky, shirts and caps. We certainly appreciate your business. Bar-B-Qed Feedback Time: Sam- Your opinion of what you perceived occured at the end of the HBK-Cena match is welcomed. I don’t remember what occurred nor have I taken the time to go back and review it. I only remember the match for exceeding my expectations and not for anything else. Mr. Monster- I still get excited walking into the arena and enjoy taking a walk around the ring while the arena is empty. The day I stop looking forward to simply seeing the ring sitting in front of me will be the day I need to become the full time “Baron of Bar-B-Q”. Brand-O- The OU-Texas game is upon us indeed and it is one of the greatest sporting events any one could ever attend in person. I have been going since 1971 and each trip has its own story and set of memories. I am “personally invested” in this Red River Rivalry which is the key term for any wrestler to be able to say about their fans…that the fans personally invested in them. Ghost- In responding to your theory of “scripted promos,” I will conclusively say that any wrestler can be a bigger star if they are able to tap into who they are naturally in front of the camera. Mr. X- Edge is greatly missed in the WWE without question. Before Edge was injured he was at the top of his game and was as good as any one in the business. Edge’s return will be a big boost for the WWE and their fans. I only hope that Edge does not try to rush things and that he is able to come back at north of 199%. Terry- I don’t think the higher Canadian dollar vs. the U.S. dollar has any thing significant to do with the WWE touring Canada. Canada is largely WWE Country and some of the WWE’s most passionate and vocal fans are Canadians. I think it is more a matter of geography and routing. I give Oklahoma City as an example…middle of the U.S…..18,000 seat arena….rabid fans…etc…and no event in 2007. Again, it is about geography and compatible routing. Sammy- If given the chance to call or watch a Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle match I would definitely say “call it”. That way I am totally immersed and emotionally invested in the presentation and it becomes a true lasting memory. It would be a helluva match to say the least. Mike- The road agents are like coaches or TV producers who work with talent. International Developmental Programs are likely. Jimbo- I will save my craziest road stories for a future book, IF I do a book. Plus, I would want to give a few people a heads up, including the Mrs. as a young J.R. made a few less than wise decisions. Andrew- Crimson Tide football is like a religion in Alabama and the late Coach Bear Bryant casts a huge shadow. That’s essentially what it is about in Alabama…measuring up to the Bear and the expectations the Bear established. Nick Saban is a good coach and we will find out if he is truly a great coach if he can take his place along side the Bear in Alabama folk lore. This year’s team has some excellent athletes and the program should improve with another Saban recruiting class. Anthony- Hogan is wrestling’s Babe Ruth as it relates to the box office, establishing PPV, establishing avenues to sell merchandise and in ring sizzle. I would say Hulk was pretty damn good, wouldn’t you? Oliver in the UK- It was great to have you as a guest in our Bar-B-Q Restaurant in Norman and I am thrilled you had a great experience with our great food and service. We are trying hard to establish the foundation to grow our business with franchise opportunities all over the world. If the franchising takes off in the future, there is no reason we couldn’t have a place in the UK. Hell, KFC and McDonald’s are there so why not us?? Thanks again and I am happy to see you made it back home safely. Come back and see us. Chris- Everyone close to Shelton Benjamin has huge expectations for him because he is such a magnificent athlete. I firmly believe in Shelton and feel he could be headlining PPVs some day if he continues to produce. James- I truly don’t feel as if there is an intentional bias against the WCW brand by the WWE. The fact that ECW has a show and WCW doesn’t is not an indication to me that the WCW brand is disrepected. It may seem that way to many WCW fans but I don’t see the WWE backburnering any asset they own and WCW is the intellectual property of the WWE. This answer won’t be good enough for many longtime WCW fans, but let’s not forget I worked many years there as well. Justin- Kane is a big time player and has proved that many times over the years. Kane just needs to have a spotlight shined on him and put in the right position to make an impact and he has the tools to be right where you want him to be. For me, the masked Kane persona was one of the best. Dave- We are currently researching the marketplace for the proper processes to ship our Ribs, for example, throughout the United States. Shipping original Bar-B-Q for one’s tailgate party, weekend cookout, etc is a business we want to invest in down the road, but we want to do it right. Gonzo- The Memphis footage would be great on WWE 24/7, but determining the ownership and whereabouts of the library would take a highly skilled detective. Lots of cooks worked in that kitchen. Michael- I have addressed Macho Man Randy Savage many, many times in this space. He was a magnificent in ring performer and one of the most colorful and charismatic wrestlers to ever lace up his boots. HOWEVER, I do not know why his relationship is perceived to be poor with the WWE nor am I going to investigate the matter as it is simply none of my business nor is it my current role to do so. Sorry I don’t have the info or the answer you were seeking. Mike W.- I am a firm believer that the best wrestlers need maturity and education. I would love to see the day when all wrestlers would have a college degree. Education and life experiences are imperative for the success of a wrestlers in today’s world. Getting in to wrestling after graduating college sounds like a good deal to me. Brenda- Because the Baltimore Ravens have so many ex-Sooners on their team, I can assure you that I pay attention to the Ravens every Sunday. I love Mark Clayton and consider him a friend. Mark is an amazing young man and a wonderful citizen. Kelly Gregg and Chris Chester are doing great as well and are super guys. I wish Dan Cody could stay healthy because Dan is a player. Jeremy- I enjoy the 5 on 5 Survivor Series elimination tag bouts the best of the tag scenarios at this PPV. It just seems special and nostalgic and fits the Survivor Series theme from the old days. Fred “The Hitman”- I loved the Rock ‘n Roll Express too along with the Midnight Express and Jim Cornette. The Horsemen were big time as were the Briscos and the Funks. Back in the day, Dusty Rhodes and Dick Murdoch were tremendous as were Pat Patterson and Ray Stevens, considered by many to be the best tag team ever. Solomon- I don’t know exactly what Mick Foley is doing these days but I am sure he is staying busy with writing, appearances, being a Dad and Husband and probably riding a few roller coasters. I do know what ever he is doing Mick is saving his cash and enjoying life. As far as a writing job with the WWE is concerned and why Mick has never been hired, to my knowledge Mick has never applied or indicated he would want to leave surburbia and his wife and kids to put the hours in the job requires. If Mick ever wanted to be a WWE writer that would be surprising news to me. Tough job. Ron from New York- Who was tougher, Harley Race or Bruiser Brody? That’s like asking what would kill one faster, a Magnum 57, the most powerful handgun known to man (or so I have heard) or a high powered rifle? Until someone could prove it otherwise and they will never be able to I have to hang my hat with Race. Most of the wrestlers alive today would say the same thing and that is not meant to denigrate Brody whatsoever. Few men ever volunteered to challenge Bruiser Brody, but Harley was a different breed of old school, nasty cat. Keep that feedback coming and we will continue to provide feedback as often as feasible. Feel free to answer any questions on the site and we will use them if they are applicable and if everyone has been good boys and girls. In other words, let’s take the high road as often as possible. This is a special week as it is the Red River Showdown and I will be in Dallas most of the end of the week so we will be updating our blogs as often as possible. Bear with us and thanks again for the business especially with our autographed cook books selling so well. BOOMER SOONER!! J.R.

JR do you think it would be a good idea for the Fink to announce the Main Events at Mania just to give it that "extra special" feeling, when i think back to my favorite Mania moments so many of them have the Fink as the announcer. what do you think?

Hello there Mr Ross, i hope your enjoying yourself be it in your restaurant or on the road, i along with thousands of others enjoy your blog, always interesting to read. Me and a few friends were debating this profusely, should Chris Benoit one day (not anytime soon) be inducted into the hall of fame? One argument was yes because he should be remembered for his superb athletical abilities not the tragedy. Also one argument was no because of the tragedy and he does not deserved to be even acknowledged again. Please by all means if this is a question that hurts or annoys you in anyway just ignore it as it is not my intention to irritate you and i whole heartdly apologise. Thank you for your time. Have a good one.

How do you feel about the seemingly 'strained' ties between Randy Savage and the WWE? As head of talent relations during the late 90s, I am both shocked and disappointed that you didn't acquire this living legend...

It's a shame that John Cena had to lose the WWE Heavyweight Championship in this fashion and his injury is a definate blow to the business... As much as I wanted to see someone else hold the WWE Heavyweight Title, I never like anyone losing the title in this fashion; it's tragic... I hope for his speedy recovery; as well as that for Adam Copeland as well. Give my regards to those two guys if you can for me, JR...

hi JR I was wondering if you have spoken to or emailed HBK recently thanks

JR (Boomer for sure), Thanks for sharing your commentaries and blogs with us. You are very reliable and knowledgeable in the wonderful world of wrestling. I know the Undertaker is always a class above the rest in what he can do and perform. I wonder if I could please ask you a couple questions. Does Taker have full control in the creative writing of his character? I must ask this because the constantly reused storyline of the Deadman dying/getting smashed and then makes his big return to kick that opponents arse is becoming very stale. I know he suffered a real injury during his championship reign and needed time off to recover from surgery. Surely, a different storyline could be used now rather than the same old same old. I like the fact that the Undertaker keeps his life private. I hope this is only a rumor. Is Mark splitting from Sara? I sure hope not. I always thought he was finally happy with the woman of his life. Keep up the great work JR.

I have been thinking to the future...........WM25 to be exact. I've been watching Wrestlemania since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Some of my favorite matches were the ones we thought we'd never see.(i.e.Hogan v Rock)Do you think, with such a milestone for the WWE, that we could be gearing up for one of those moments? What dream match would be on the top of your list?

Uh couple quick qustions. 1 With all the stuff going around do you belive Ric Flair is done with WWE or do you think he;ll be back soon? 2 Do you think you would ever open a BBQ in Kansas City or some town close to KC?

Ok hoping not to start a responce war here with my following comments, however I think the saying goes "Into each Life a little rain must fall." or something there abouts, While I have been reading here I have noticed as many of you have numerous post as to why Randy Savage this or why Macho Man that,if you go back and view my post you will realize that I was raised on the NWA,Mid South Wrestling, I have been a wrastling fan for years and years, even went to the Omni back a few decades ago to see Rick Flair vs Rick Morton (Blonde of the Rockin Roll Express) was even ejected by the security people for getting so involved in the Match that I threw my Aluminum Crutch into the ring with the hopes that Ricky Morton would be able to use it against Flair, ( however that didn't work out as planned as I latter found out the Dirtiest Player in the game was able to use the crutch and then proceed to run Ricky's face along to top rope of the entire ring leaving him a bloody mess). I have seen wrestlers both Great and the not so great come and go, While Randy IS one of the Greats, why do we keep harping on why isn't he in the WWE hall of Fame? For that matter of fact Why isn't the Rockin Roll Express there or the Midnight Express, or Jake the Snake Roberts, or Tony Atlas, or Gene and Ole Anderson,or Sting, the list of those not in the WWE hall of Fame goes on and ON, do I need to mention Bob Armstrong , or Ted Dibiasi ( sorry about spelling) or DR. Death Steve Williams, or the Legion of Doom ( the Road Warriors) or Ivan and Nakita Koloff, or Tully Blanchard, or AA Arn Anderson ( good Ole GA boy there) While we the Fan of wrestling are an intricate part of the whole wrestling Phenomonon we the fans do not make the final desisions on who does or does not enter into the WWEHOF just as J.R. dosen't nor does Jerry "The King " Lawler, While I am just as dissapointed at some the the dessions made by the governing board of the HOF as the rest are I understand that maybe like the baseball HOF there are Midigating circumstanses as to why this or that wrestler has yet to make it. While I realize that this is not a public forum I apologize not only to the web site techs but also to J.R. and to the loyal readers of this blog for the Rant. Now on to the BBQ, GO UGA!!!!

Hi JR. Two of my favorite wrestlers who never spent any significant time in the WWF/WWE are Stan Hansen and Abdullah the Butcher. Do you think these two would've worked in the WWE, and if so, who would you have liked to see them wrestle?

Recently, we went to an Illinois WWE house show, and I have to say it was one of the best ones we've seen, even with what some would consider a "smaller" roster. Everyone did their best to entertain the fans, but one man stood out, a man I never thought I would say this about because well, I just wasn't that big of a fan before. That guy is Jeff Hardy. He wrestled at one-hundred percent, gave the fans a very excellent show and was so nice to everyone. We can tell he appreciates his position in life, he knows what he has to do, and gives his all for the people. I have no questions, only this comment. And to add something funny, one of the wrestlers (who shall remain anonymous in this comment) spun his tires so bad in the parking tunnel that the fire dept ended up being called. AWESOME show, just like every other time, but this time was special. Hardy really made us feel like we were watching something "bigger" than just a small midwest house show appearance. Even Arn Anderson was there, and he's the man, we really respect him here in IL (I suspect that he knows this.) Well, anyway, that's all. Thank you WWE for another brilliant time of our lives

Dear J.R Can we get more stars to sign Autographs in Hamilton ON Canada instead of always being in Toronto and other such places. On that note, can you please arrange it so Edge can sign in Hamilton. A few years back, him, Christian and Test, were at Toys r Us and I was in line but never got to meet them.

Hey JR Just wondering if you had heard anything of the 'news' that HBK is considering not returning to the ring? Obviously if Shawn did decide the time was right to retire to spend more time with his family then good on him and we would all respect that BUT I cant help but feel that this injury couldnt have come at a worse time for Shawn as he was on an amazing run prior to it and I really believed that he would once again be WWE Champion. Do you believe that there is any realistic chance now of Shawn being WWE Champion again? - especially if he does return to work a limited schedule Thanks for taking the time to read these comments Keep up the good work Much appreciated Andy

What was your relationship with Bret Hart like? Did you two get along well? Great bloh once again, keep the good work up with the BBQ!

Mr. Ross, First of all, I recently won a contest through Viewer's Choice in Canada to fly to Miami in order to attend Survivor Series this November, and it will be my first WWE event in person ever. I'm excited as can be, and I'm wondering if you have any tips as to how to get the most out of a PPV event as an audience member, as well as any recommended fan happenings before the actual show? Also, what do you make of those who are actually happy that John Cena has been injured? Think what they may of him, but the guy was pretty much the most durable performer for the company since he showed up, with no extended stays on the disabled list, if any. When it seemed like the other top guys were going down for months at a time, Cena was a constant to keep the big time atmosphere high. I hope he uses the time to recharge his batteries, and also that people will soon realize what a void he will be leaving in the show, just by the enthusiasm he shows, as well as by those who either cheer or boo him.

Hello again, JR!!! What a huge loss for the WWE with Cena out 6-12 months. I hope for the No Mercy PPV the WWE does the right thing and do a battle royal for the WWE title. Probably the right thing to do. Who deserves it more will have to wait till Sunday but that should be an interesting match as well as the Khali-Batista match. Can't believe this past week in college football. Close games with upsets all around. We'll see how the Sooners & Longhorns recuperate from their losses this Saturday. As you always say, it should be a slobberknocker!!! Enjoy the OU/Texas match while I see my Buckeyes play Purdue on Saturday night. (By the way, my birthday is this Sunday) That's it from here, JR. Keep in touch and take care. Sincerely, Jason H

How happy are the wwe to have the undertaker back from injury so quick and do you see the undertaker getting a shot at the belt. if he does which one would you like him to have

J.R., From one small business owner to another wanted to say good luck with the bbq restaurant. I own a small 24 hour gym in nw OKC. Shape Fitness is located right next to PC North High School(home of OU qb Sam Bradford). Wanted to let you know that any of the wrestlers and WWE staff can come in free of charge for a workout if and when the crew is in town. Looking forward to the Red River Shootout and if I see you I will have to introduce myself and say hello. Boomer Sooner!

I'm a fan of John Cena and i'm really sad to see that he's injured for what could be anything up to a year. An injury is bad news for any superstar, but at a time when the rosters are short on main event talent, it has to put more pressure on the guys who are called up to fill these 'boots'. J.R., do you think that Cena's 'boots' will be easy filled and who would you like to see wrestle Randy Orton this sunday for the WWE title?

Hey JR. What's your favorite car? Do you like classic cars or more of a SUV person? Justa wondering.

Any word yet on if Ric Flair is going to return to WWE? Several rumors are floating around that he has already retired. I really wish WWE would give Flair his due and one last hurrah. Flair, in my opinion, is the greatest wrestler of all-time. What do you think?

JR - Any possibility for a FAQ portion of the site regarding some of the same questions you get over and over again? I feel like no matter what you say, there is always someone who will ask questions regarding Savage's HOF Induction, The Rock coming back, and changing the name of Smackdown to WCW... Great to hear the BBQ Restaurant is doing well!

my friend told me that ECW newcommer Big Daddy V is just former WWF mainstay Mabel with his shirt off... I say 'no way'. What do you say JR?

Hey JR, do you think they should have steroid tests for the new American Gladiators? I mean if rumors are true and they are bringing it back, the old Gladiators were more than likely on the juice but it didn't seem to matter. And Hulk Hogan as a possible host? I don't think I'll be watching brother because I never thought of Hogan as one of the best promo cutters.

JR, Its a pleasure reading your comments. A quick suggestion (if you haven't thought of it already) is having a FAQ page that addresses the Macho Man, Rock, Hogan vs. Austin, etc. that get asked at least once a week. I also have a question for you. Since you've worked in both WCW and WWF/WWE, this is only directly toward those two promotions, and for the WWE, only regarding wrestlers no longer with the company (for political reasons). If you had the final say, who do you feel was deserving of a heavyweight title run that never had a chance to wear that belt? For example, and in my opinion, guys I would have liked to see hold the top title at least once in either promotion would have been Arn Anderson, Barry Windham, and Curt Henning.

I was wondering if Monday night RAW and ECW are broadcasted in HD? I just recently got HD programming and both USAHD and Sci-fiHD were added to the lineup so I was hoping I'd get to see those shows in HD. Best of luck in your restaurant business and continued success in WWE. Thank you for your time. Patrick from Alabama

I'd just like to comment on the John Cena injury. Its sad to see such a great title run end with an injurt rather than a match loss. In my personal oppinion Cena has had a great run as champion and I hope he manages to get it back some day. He has been working a very busy schedule and needs this break to rest his body and get back to 100%. I also have a question JR, are there any past WWE/F champions who you feel didnt deserve to hold the belt? for instance, Bob Backlund, although he was a good wrestler, he only held the belt for 3 or 4 days. i would also like top hear other comments from people who read this. Take care JR

Hi Jr, Just thought I'd voice my displesure at the situation with the ECW title picture. Tommy should have been given his shot at No Mercy and to have it taken away from him by that lard arse Big Daddy V, made the whole elimination a complet farce. People say that ther WWE needs something extra these days andis not what it was. Well to me the soloution is obvious, stop pushing Big Men with limited ability. I.e. Big Daddy V and especially The Great Kali, and start getting behind those that can actually pull out something specisal. Since the loss of great wrestlers, for whatever reason, like Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerreo An Chris Benoit, the WWE's Roasters have loojked very weak, bar a few exceptions. All I can say Is thank goodness Jericho is coming back.

You say that "the masked Kane persona was one of the best." Do you ever think that masked Kane will return, especially considering Friday marks the 10 year aniversary of Kane's debut.

First, I'm from Germany, so please excuse if i have maybe some mistakes in my written English. I have to say that I'm very impressed when I saw Candace Michelle in the Ring at Unforgiven. I heard some Fans saying that Candace should not be Womans Champion and there are more better Divas in the Roster like Mickie James or Beth Phoenix. I think, Candace is a very good Champ and at Unforgiven she showed the World why. Some weeks ago I saw a sign in the Crowd that states: "Hard work pays off Candace". Hell yeah! Thats true. Also I would like to know what do you think why they released Ariel from ECW? She was a great character and so different to the other WWE divas, what is a good thing. Greetings from Germany

Hey J.r They should have Edge v Orton if Hbk and Jerico arent theyre two former team mates (Rko) have edge as a face intially it would be a great match and we know edge can go Hardcore in a last man standing match then have Kennedy fued with him they can finish off there storyline

Hi J.R as a wwe fan based in the uk i wanted to know is there any chance of a large pay per view being held over here in the near future? I was lucky enough to go to summerslam 92 at wembley stadium and still count it as 1 of the best nites of my life. keep up the amazing work

2007 hasn't been a great year to be a World Champion has it JR? First The Undertaker, then Edge went down on SmackDown! and now John Cena on RAW. Despite what a lot of people think about him, Cena's injury is a MASSIVE blow for WWE. I wish him nothing but the best for a speedy recovery.

Hi JR. Great work on the blog. It's nice to read your thoughts on the wrestling world outside of the WWE corporate setting. I hope to make it to the BBQ joint sometime in the future, but it's halfway across the country for me...so, someday. I'm writing to suggest you put up a FAQ on the website, so that you can avoid the frustration of having to answer the same questions over and over. You seem a little peeved (and rightfully so) at constantly answering questions about Randy Savage, when will (or why won't) WWE come to XYZ city, and will Hogan ever face Austin. If you had these questions answered in a FAQ, you wouldn't ever have to address them again, and you'd save yourself and us, the readers, a lot of repetition. What do you think? Keep up the good work! BBJK

Hey JR, hows it? Anyway, I have a question for you, someone who has spent time in the arenas on tour with the WWE. My favorite "young" wrestler right now is CM Punk, and I've noticed a trend as of late. It seems that the crowd have split with him the way they have with Cena, meaning some love him, some hate him. I was wondering if this was something you'd noticed as well? I just think its a shame when fans dislike a guy simply because he's being pushed. I first saw Punk from ROH tapes I ordered and he instantly became a favorite of mine and I have returned to watching WWE because of him(and HHH). Do you have any opinion on why fans seem so rebelious towards a lot of todays big name pure babyfaces? Ok that was two questions, I am sneaky! ;) Good luck to your sooners, I have a feeling they have the edge this year against the horns. Have fun at the game!

I'm greatly disappointed that John Cena will be out at least 6 months with a right torn pectoral tendon. It's unbelievable how many wrestlers have gotten injured this year in the WWE. My question is what do you think can be done to prevent these injuries from occuring, without reducing the quality of the matches and the show?

Shelton Benjamin is one of the best wrestlers (if not THE best)in the WWE, but his mic skills are not good at all, which is probably why he is stuck in midcard status. As for the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak, I hope the streak doesn't end, but if it had to, the only person I see breaking it is Ric Flair. No one else even comes close, not even Triple H.

I would be interested to hear your take on the botched arm drag that injured Cena and put him out for several months. Who do you see on the Raw Roster that could step up and become a main even level superstar with the opening created by Cena's long absence?

Will HBK return because sources are saying that he is done with wrestling. Is that true?? How is he.. is he OK??? I'm concerned

Hey JR, Great work on the site and thanks for all the blogs. My comment concerns the video games THQ puts out for you guys. I just don't think they get the product. As a life long wrestling fan and being a gamer it is frustrating beyond belief that the last two games that have been released (Sd vs Raw 06 and 07) were so sub par and lacking. While both had upsides and great potential they really needed the insite of a wrestling/game fan and or the wrestlers themselves. The list of can't dos is huge and I'm sorry to say I cannot be excited about this years release. Yes, I know you don't make them, but shouldn't the WWE want have a great game to appeal to non-wrestling fans and real them in too? Lets some of us help for the greater good. :) BTW, love or hate him Cena being injured sucks. I think stability in the title scene make a change of said title that much more significant. ummm, can anyone remember the hardcore title 24/7 mess, I mean who wasn't the hardcore champ at that time? (maven for instance) I think it's time that Matt Hardy get his due. IMO the most underutilized man in wwe next to Shelton. Lets not mention the squandered Edge/Hardy story line.... Thanks for the great forum!

Have you seen the new movie "The Game Plan?" What are your thoughts on it? Also, what is your favorite show that's on right now?

dear jim, "the condemned" will finally come to the german movie theaters at the end of november. do u know if steve will promote the movie over here too? if yes, where and when? i hope everything is going fine. love, steph

Heh just wondering if you have any idea how soon [ hopefully very] we will see Teddy Hart & Harry Smith & Nattie Niedhart called up to the main roster? Thanks! Boomer Sooner

when matt hardy and edge fought at summer slam 2005, the match ending had a rather impromptu feel to it. How much of that finish was a work? Did some of the real life drama cause edge to deliver a bit of a stiff kick forcing the early finish?

hey J.R, there has been speculation over the internet that john morrison will regain the ECW championship upon his re-arrival after suspension, Do you find this fair, and do you think that he is deserving of the belt?

I am a HUGE SEC fan since I moved from my beloved Texas (Hook 'em Horns) to Mississippi. I have one question for you. Do you honestly think - as a pure football fan, that KY and So. Fl is better than Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, and so on? I know if they play 10 times I am VERY sure KY/ So. FL would lose to the likes (except the horns after last week - yuck)to OU, Gators, and such. Orig from Amarillo, and looking forward to detour in Norman to eat at your place when I visit next time. Take care and God Bless.

J.R., I just got your autographed cookbook in the mail. I have only skimmed through it, and I have to say that I am impressed. I would recommend this cookbook to anyone, even if they don't cook. It is worth the value just for the many top ten lists, and the great stories. Thank you for making this cookbook J.R.

Do you feel Treat Williams would be a wise acquisition for the WWE, in a non-wrestling role? I truly do. He's a tough cookie.

What do you think of the reaction of most wrestling fans on the net that they are ecstatic to see Cena injured and stripped of the title? I think we're going to have some great months ahead, now we actually DON'T know who'll be fighting for the title. Hopefully Jericho, Kennedy or Jeff Hardy win it.
