Even in a state of mourning over his beloved Sooners losing to an excellent Texas team Saturday in the Cotton Bowl, J.R. returned to Norman from Dallas on Sunday and has answered dozens of your questions. I was told that the "Baron of BBQ" drowned his sorrows at J.R.'s in Norman on Sunday afternoon while watching Adrian Peterson attempt to carry the Minnesota Vikings on his broad shoulders and eating a pulled pork sandwich topped with cole slaw with a side order of BBQ Beans..."Blazing Saddles" beware. Hopefully, the WWE Hall of Famer, whose ESPN cameo has been well received, will write a blog of his weekend experiences before he leaves this week for Las Vegas and this week's Friday Night Smackdown taping.

J. R. As a Wrestling fan from the 50's, Leaping Larry Shay was in the first match I saw on T.V.. I thought, and still think that Tommy Rich was the youngest World Champion. Even though Harley Race won it Back one night later. Is my recollection corect or not. That was in WCW, I think not Georgia Championship wrestling.
