Thanks for stopping by. Busy week & we're burning daylight.
I'm having a great time visiting FCW in Tampa. The development of new stars is a HUGE priority for WWE. What's more important as it relate to in ring talent? Nothing. The combined staff at FCW is doing a really solid job teaching fundementals to some promising youngsters.
The Wednesday promo class, where the individuals have the opportunity to create their own verbiage was excellent. Some talents were highly entertaining and spot on from where I was sitting. This area has improved greatly since I was last in Tampa.
I had a long talk w/ the group about the responsibilities that come w/ being a WWE Superstar which is everyone at FCW's goal. In my personal opinion, individuals making poor or selfishly bad personal decisions have opened the door leading to their own exit. Humans make mistakes and should be provided second chances, as a rule, but some issues merit immediate dismissal. Don't want to come off as a hardass but this generation in general seems to be more prone to bonehead mistakes and errors in judgment...see Braylon Edwards of the NY Jets, for example. Simply 'do right' and all usually works out as it should.
WWE has assembled a nice roster in Tampa that possesses plenty of upside that should evolve in time. Patience, hard work, outside the ring study, gym work, and upping the passion will help many of the better athletes find their way to the big time. I think that I may have perhaps been a coach in a different life as I really enjoy interacting w/ the young talents. I sure hope that I've been able to help them.
I will be back here on a monthly basis which is the only way that I can accurately determine who's improving and at what rate.
Heading to Cincinnati on Friday to attend a dangerous, road game for my Sooners. The game is at Paul Brown Stadium, home of the Bengals. I invite you to check out my OUInsider blog, help me get my numbers up, at http://ouinsider.com?news/story.php?article=5111. Look for the black hat on the OU sideline at 6 eastern on ESPN 2.
I missed NXT Tuesday night as Syfy isn't on my hotel's TV system.
Just updated the Q&A section of this site and invite you to check it out. We had some good questions this go around.
We need to kick up our on line biz and appreciate your consideration. We have some super values available and shipping costs you nothing if you live in the USA.
Time to head back to FCW where tonite it gets physical during the three, one hour TV shoot. Very anxious to see what transpires tonite. Hope to see athleticsm, intensity, and fundemental soundness.
My WWE Ross Report will be live later today at www.wwe.com.

Dear Jr. I am one of many huge wrestling fans in Tampa Fl but i love old school wrestling which is why i am here. " The Dean" Gordon Solie is an ICON to me but i feel like tampa has not done enough for him. I went up to the FCW arena today because i want to try and start a petion to change Fair Oaks Ave where the arena is to Gordon Solie Ave. I also wish that we could have a wrestling museum that not only has some of Mr. Solie's work but also some of the talent in the state of Florida like Hogan, Savage, Eddie & Mike Graham, The Malenko's just to name a few as well as other great wrestlers from the past and present.
Thank you.
My Dream Team: Gordon Solie & Jim Ross

I'm not sure how to get a questing into your Q&A section so i'll just comment here.
I have a few questions i'd like your input on.
With the Red River Rivalry approaching fast i was wondering how you think "Your" Sooners will fare against "My" Longhorns this year?
the next one is a 2 part long question: how much wrestling expirience does one need to get a developmental deal with WWE? i'm saving my money so i can go to WWA4 in Atlanta and i heard 2 years, 3 years. i'm turning 25 this year. I feel like time isn't on my side. Mostly cause I want to have a hall of fame career in WWE wrestling. I love Wrestling, I love cutting promos, I just love performing infront of people weather it be Music, Theatre, just goofing off. I'm a black belt in Kempo, i stopped training in taekwondo at brown belt due to lack of funds in elementary school. I have trained in MMA but due to "lack of size" nodody will book me. I could look believable against the Miz that's for sure. anyway, i'm just wondering how often do guys like me, the daniel bryans of the world get a chance in WWE?
i know character wise i'd be completly different than bryan. but size wise i might have him by an inch. i can do chain wrestling, flippies off the top but don't prefer to, i thought it would be awesome to come in as randy orton did and john cena as a oober baby face sort of lose but look good, then eventually call out kane and then have kane bring me to the "DARK SIDE" and start coming out as "FX" or "Caprenicus" with black and white face paint. my finisher would be a hurricanrana into a triange choke.
Sorry for making this so long. i'm just excited and can't wait to have my money saved to go. ALSO, i just ordered my first of many orders of your sauce. can't wait to get my hands on what i've heard rave reviews about for years. JRs BBQ sauce, Chipotle Ketchup and Hot BBQ sauce.
ONE LOVE mr Ross... G.O.D
