JR's Headed to Alberta...Who's White and Not Hip?...We Need Your Feedback. Lots of Opinions.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting our site. Please visit our on line store as well as we have the best BBQ sauces in the land and the most unique and delicious Chipolte Ketchup you will find any where. I am working diligently on our BBQ biz and need your feedback. Would you pay $5 for shipping and handling for our products to be shipped to the USA and/or Canada? What about $12 shipping and handling for the UK? Again, I need your feedback as I prepare our site for the biggest clearance sale in its history. Now on the the beloved, BBQ'ed  "dirt" that so many love to interpret in their own, unique ways as they regurgitate bits and pieces of my random B.S. on websites far and wide.

JR's Back From Long Island From a Challenging Taping....Wrestling Love Stories are Generally Insane

Posted in:

Man, am I glad to be back in Oklahoma and out of the traffic frenzied and crowded Northeast after taping Tuesday night in the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.  It was one of those nights where nothing seem to come easy at the announce desk, not that it really  seems to matter I suppose.  I hope you like WGN Superstars on Thursday and Friday Night Smackdown on MyNetworkTV. Check your local listings. Last week's SD ratings were very good as the show featured Jeff Hardy vs. John Morrison and the ratings over the two hour period were the best of any two hour block ever on the network or so I am told. The ratings  were so good that Grisham and I "almost" got an attaboy. "Almost" being the key word.

JR's Mailbag...Fedor Feedback...Split a Case of Sauce w/ a Friend & Still Get FREE SHIPPING!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out our site. I hope that you take the time to visit our store and peruse the specials that are available. Sharing a case of sauce, yes you can mix and match with the Original BBQ Sauce, the Hot BBQ Sauce, and the Chipolte Ketchup, with friends or family is a great idea and you will still get FREE SHIPPING on your order in many parts of the USA. We also have several authentically signed pieces of merchandise signed that are available in our store including caps, J.R.'s Cookbooks and more. Nonetheless we appreciate that fact that you simply stopped by and paid us a visit.

I was at J.R.'s Family BBQ in Norman Saturday night from 5-9 pm and had a great time visiting with fans including several folks that were visiting from out of state or who were traveling on I-35 and saw our joint at exit 109. The restaurant has had a great week as folks love our food and our extraordinarily, family friendly prices. The vast majority of our entrées are under 10 bucks. more »

Here's hoping that every one is having a great weekend. It's really nice weekend here in Norman, Oklahoma and college football fever is in the air. I attended a couple of functions with the Sooner football coaches this week and their summer is essentially over as practice starts next Wednesday, the day I return from Long Island, and they will hit it hard until National Signing Day in early February 2010. My goal is to attend every OU game, home and away, and I have already made travel arrangements to travel from Lincoln, Nebraska to Sheffield, England in November among other "interesting" road trips. These trips serve as "great escapes" and help me keep my sanity (no jokes please.) At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

UFC/Affliction thoughts...Fedor to UFC??...Q&A's Updated

Hope every one is having a good weekend thus far. I'm about ready to head to the airport for the start of a challenging, road trip to the east coast for WWE "bidness." I don't look forward to the travel but I look forward to the work. Make sense?

We met with the USPS yesterday regarding shipping issues and may have discovered some answers. A follow up with another person who specializes in accounts such as J.R.'s Family BBQ is slated to meet with us again to provide more feedback. We're trying to make things better in every phase of our business and I can assure you that we are not in the shipping business IE trying to make shipping a profit center. On to the next piece of business.....  more »

Thanks for stopping by. All is good in Norman, Oklahoma and it will be challenging for me to leave Saturday to head to Philly for WWE's Night of Champions. We are aggressively addressing our shipping costs with a variety of shippers just to update those that have asked. Our goal is to have more specials that offer free shipping. For many of you in the USA we do offer free shipping on case prices of our sauces and being able to obtain all three flavors, the Original BBQ Sauce, the HOT BBQ Sauce and the Chipolte Ketchup is a great deal. These cases can be shared with friends or family, make great gift ideas and have a year's shelf life. Many have ordered cases and gone in with friends to split the shipment which is a total of 12, 18 ounce bottles. Check out the many specials in our on line store and thanks for your business. Now to random thoughts....   more »

Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you taking the time to check out our blogs and especially appreciate you doing business with WWEShop.com and placing orders for J.R.'s BBQ products that are available there.

It will be good to get back to Philly as I have no issue telling any one that the Philly fans are loud and love to have a good time which certainly helps the PPV presentation and all of us that are involved in the process. more »

Brisco Update...SD From Richmond...WWEClassics.com...Shaq...Congrats Ron Simmons...Happy B-Day HBK

I hope all are well. Just got home from Richmond via St. Louis to OKC. I could elaborate on travel in general but any one who does much of it knows it isn't enviable but simply goes with the territory. Business at J.R.'s BBQ in Norman is brisk for this time of the year even though many of the college kids who attend OU are away for the summer.  Our internet business is o.k. but really needs to improve. Remember, I am interested in hearing any suggestions on potential promotions and any help on the shipping facet of our business is welcomed. Any on line store biz you can toss our way is greatly appreciated.  Here we go with some BBQ'ed Random Thoughts...   more »
