Greetings from under the black, 200X Resistol hat from your resident BBQ and Sooner loving fan who is much happier that the players are going through two-a-day workouts in the Oklahoma sun rather than yours truly. See inside for what I've heard about the first week of practice, our Sooners in the NFL and much, much more.

The Sooners are gearing up for their much anticipated Saturday morning scrimmage at the stadium that gets underway at 11 a.m., which is open to the public unlike regular Sooner practices. For many reasons, namely and perhaps simply because it is football season in Norman, and also because of the Sooner QB situation one would expect a healthy turnout this Saturday morning. I certainly am looking forward to watching the scrimmage and may even make Thursday night’s practice as the Sooners are off on Friday.
