JR's NOLA Show Updated, FoxSports.com @ Wrestlemania, Ross Report Guests, Gail Kim, True Detective, WWEShop.com

Here's hoping that everyone is having a super Monday and is kicking off another great week in splendid fashion. With that said, we're burning daylight...

Time continues to draw near for my two RINGSIDE: An Evening with Jim Ross shows in NOLA on Thursday April 3 at the House of Blues in the heart of the French Quarter. Tickets are available at the HOB box office and via http://www.ticketmaster.com. Show times are at 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm with the VIP ticket holder meet and greets after each show. Because of local, liquor laws the minimum age to attend is 18. If you are coming to WM30 I hope that you join me.

Several of my friends from the wrestling business who are going to be in town for other events have plans to attend so a surprise or two is likely.

Finished writing about WrestleMania's 1-9 over the weekend for the FoxSports.com three part series and will be launching in the next week or so. Fox is really going to make this a major league presentation,

Busy week for yours truly with the Fox project on going, taping another podcast interview this Tuesday night with 2014 WWE HOF inductee Amy Dumas/Lita that will air prior to WM30, traveling to Las Vegas, and looking at some more offers for additional RINGSIDE shows in 2014.

This week the Ross Report podcast has 2013 WWE Hall of Fame inductee Trish Stratus as my guest in one of the most compelling and informative interviews we've had. She tells it like it is from a female's perspective. Honest, candid content from Canada's greatest export. The new podcast will drop late this Tuesday or by Wednesday at the very latest.

In the next three weeks I will be talking on the Ross Report with Trish, Mick Foley and Lita....Hall of Famers all.

Even though I have no plans on attending the WWE HOF Induction Ceremony at this time due to other obligations, there's no way that I'm going to miss it on the WWE Network of which I enjoy every day. Warrior is a highly intelligent person with unique perspectives on a variety of things and his acceptance speech should be truly unique and intriguing.

Jake Roberts will have a blow away acceptance speech too. Anxious to see who inducts all these deserving folks.

WWE signing a major TV deal in Germany will be a major shot in the arm for WWE's Germany touring business. Talent and TV are the keys to the wrestling business and one without the other doesn't get one to the desired pay window. Congrats to WWE.

Thought TNA Lockdown was a better than many TNA PPV's I've watched and was an average presentation in my eyes. I am not a fan of every match being a cage match. I'm not indicting anyone but making every match a cage match puts immense, creative pressure on the talent and there is too much "sameness."

James Storm, Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, Bully Ray, and Gail Kim are 'players' without question while others in TNA have the opportunity to be as well if they force themselves to continue to change/evolve and not to be comfortable in their current presentations.

Gail Kim is arguably the best female wrestler in the business.

As I have said, I hope ALL wrestling organizations are successful because the more talent that's earning a good living in the biz the better for all involved.

I do think that the 'evil administration' story line served its purpose long ago within TNA. I find it hard to 'dislike' the Dixie Carter TV persona.

I'd love to do a RINGSIDE show in Toronto the night before the ROH-New Japan show. Not sure we can pull one together that quick.

In the UK, americansoda.co.uk and beyondtheropes.co.uk are fully stocked with JR's products and both companies have added JR's Seasoning as well.

The badass character/killer on HBO's True Detective reminded me of Bray Wyatt's TV persona. Not sure why but it jumped off the screen at me. BTW if you haven't watched True Detective the series is now over and won't be returning with the current cast but is worth your time to watch all 8 episodes.

RAW emanates from Memphis tonight and one has to be curious to see if Jerry Lawler survives RAW in his hometown or if he's used to generate 'heat' by some up and coming TV Wrestling villain. I hear that some folks don't fare so well in their home towns on RAW. :) Good luck, King!

Check out those $9.97 packages of JR's products including personally signed artwork at http://www.wweshop.com. Amazing, gift ideas. Plus, grilling season is rapidly approaching.
