J.R.'s Superstar of the Week - Jeff Hardy (from WWE.com)

Posted in:
Greetings from under the black, 200X Resistol hat from Norman, Okla., home of the Oklahoma Sooners and J.R.'s Family Bar-B-Q Restaurant as we prepare for the OU vs. Miami college football showdown Saturday on ABC, and we continue to ponder just who is Mr. McMahon’s illegitimate child, which is a subject with more questions than answers. For the record, I have invited The Rock to travel to Norman to watch his alma mater, “The U”, battle OU on the gridiron this Saturday. But “The Great One’s” schedule is a little overwhelming at the moment, and he will most likely have to settle for watching the game on TV from L.A. This Saturday’s atmosphere with 85,000-plus on hand should be something special for anyone with a pulse, college football fan or not. Indeed someone will get the “Smack” laid down on their candied backsides this Saturday in one of the most anticipated games for yours truly in a long time. Can you smell the “Q” that ol’ J.R. is cooking? Read the rest of the story at WWE.com » Webmaster

Will Matt Hardy ever be U.S Champ?

J.R great pick for SOTW Jeff Hardy more than deserves it and its great to see the IC title back on someone who makes it seem more relevant instead of some joke and its beutiful to see Jeff getting the push he deserves hes the best talent RAW has.......anyway Take care JR

Hey JR, Been a huge fan of yours for years. I just wanted to ask you something, a question I think you may have gotten before: for eons you've experienced your appreciation for what Bret Hart and Shawn Micheals each have brought to the square circle throughout their illustrious careers. I saw you on the most recent episode of Legends of Wrestling (a great show that you do an incredibly good job of hosting, btw). I'm just wondering, if you had to choose one of the two to be the better all-around in-ring performer, who would you choose? Regardless I'm sure everyone knows they're two of the very best this sport has ever seen, but I'm just curious who you'd pick if someone really forced you to choose between them. Thanks, and keep up the great work on RAW for many years to come!

Just a quick question JR, but do you think Kane will ever hold the World or WWE title again? I think it's been about 10 years since he last won the big one. After all he's done for the company, I think he truly deserves it and felt sure he would have been next in line instead of Kali, so you can imagine how dissapointed all us Kaneanited were when that didn't hsppen. If you still have any influence backsatge, then please use it. Let's make Kane a bad ass again and not the glorified jobber he's become. Thanks

Jeff Hardy is so deserving of SOTW! He's amazing!

I really feel that Jeff Hardy is overrated and doesn't belong on WWE programming. Watching someone running around in paint, acting like one of those "emo" rock singers, and dancing like a little girl is one of the things that made me change the channel on WWE, TNA, and now WWE again. I usually support your opinions Jim, but this freaky looking "wrestler" belongs in the ranks of miserable stuntmen with Mick Foley. The real Superstar of the Week, Ric Flair.

Hi J.R., Thanks for answering my question as quickly as you did. Hopefully this next one makes it to you soon as well. Are there any plans about producing a DVD of DX’s earlier escapades from when they got started back in the 90’s? That stuff was hilarious. I’ve seen the “New and Improved” DVD, which was great, but I would love to see some of the older stuff. Maybe you could put a bug in someone’s ear? Thanks for your time. Charles

Hi J.R., I hope you are doing well today. I have a been a wrestling fan for many years after being introduced to it by my great grand mother(a life long fan until her final days . One question I've always had about wrestling is why does a champion retain the title after a count out or DQ? Is it ment as a way to build up to a feature match and to progress the story?Or for some other reason? If you do not know the full answer I would still love to hear your opinion on the matter.Thank you for your time.

LOVE YA J.R........bUt it's all aboUt the U....and i don't mean O.U.....i mean the real U......U.M..........goooooooo CANES....still love ya, you're the best in the buisness..

Hey JR, I am a editor at wikipedia.org and I need help settling a dispute. We have not be able to discover whether the US title on SmackDown is equal to the Intercontinental title on Raw and is thus part of the WWE Triple Crown. I would appreciate your help on this as I know the opinion of a longtime part of the wrestling business such as yourself will be respected. To see what I am talking about click this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WWE_Triple_Crown#Unofficial_Champions I hope to see a response. Thank you for your time.
