Lesnar vs. Couture could be finalized next week.

Posted in:

Sources close to the MMA world indicate that a November fight between Brock Lesnar and Randy Couture could be finalized as early as Tuesday of next week. If a deal can be reached, the fight would likely take place in Portland's Rose Garden.  Sources also say that in a perfect world that the legendary Couture would like to have three more fights before he retires and those fights would all be for the UFC. Lesnar vs. Couture would be an extremely intriguing match up if contracts can be worked out.  One would assume that getting a deal done quickly after the Labor Day holiday would allow both fighters to officially begin their preparation within a few days.  It will also be interesting to see where the betting line starts and ends for this one if it does happen.  This match blows away the previously discussed Lesnar-Kongo fight and should do huge business on PPV.

Dude....Warrior is washed up....we don't need him around and the last thing I would want to see his Warrior on tv. You think that ratings would go up because of him? I would re-think that my friend. WWE is leaning towards getting fresh, new talent not the guys that they had from the 1980's! Have you stumbled across the YouTube video of him vs. Orlando Jordan??? One word....atrocious!!! Let's give the new guys and gals a chance to shine and make a name for themselves. Just take a look at DiBiase, Rhodes, Nattie Neidhart, Jessie, etc, ...just to name a few. Give these talented future young stars a chance to shine, and shine bright the will!

Thats just your opinion.

You obviously don't know facts & don't have respect for Legends & great stars of the past.

My greatness silence's you disbeliever.

You are the weakest link, GOODBYE!

I'm not a MMA fan, but this should be interesteing, I've watched all Brock's fights, but because of Brock, I couldn't care less about MMA. So, go Brock! Break him in half, even if I think it's gonna be a very tough opponent.

Dear Good Ol' J.R.,

Do you know what's going on with The Ultimate Warrior now that he vacated the NWE belt. Do you think there is any possibility of Ultimate Warrior to return to the WWE? Also, Do you think the Ultimate Warrior vs. Vince McMahon match @ Wrestlemania 25 has a chance of happening? But like the WWE line goes, "Anything can happen in the WWE."

Whether your a fan or not of Warrior, Warrior is & always will be my #1 wrestler of all time. I wish & hope someday that you, Vince McMahon and others could work things out with Warrior in the future. People do change you know. Maybe you and other didn't understand his interviews and matches, But you gotta understand, It's the fans of Warrior who have & do understand, like myself. I'm a die hard wrestling fan. I just wish when the Self Destruction DVD was made, That it could'of been a positive DVD, not negative like it was. Plus there are so many many great matches that could'of been put on DVD that were not. For the record, There were lots of matches that were longer then what people don't seem to understand.

Warrior, Undertaker in the Funeral Parlor was cool!

Warrior, Goldust was cool!

Warrior, Lawler was cool!

Warrior, Savage was cool!

Warrior, Hogan was cool!

Warrior, Rude was cool!

About the Self Destruction DVD...

I used to like Ric Flair, Bobby Heenan, Triple H, Hogan & others alot that took place on the Self Destruction DVD until they said the things they said about Warrior. I lost respect for those guys. Warrior may not be perfect, But neither are they. I just really think they underestimated & underrated Warrior way too much. No disrespect, But I know for a fact if it wasn't for Stephanie being with HHH, He would not have been so popular and where he is today. HHH was not that big of a star until he met Steph. Hey, I love the whole DX thing, But if HHH & other younger stars like him would just give credit where it's due, Everybody can work together somehow. We're all human.

Here's a great example: You know what would be so cool?

An Ultimate DX would rule!

Warrior, HHH, HBK & Cena or maybe others too. That would bring WWE ratings way up high, I know it. HHH & others just have to stop either being Arrogent, Selfish, Stubborn or whatever keeps them from working things out with Legends, other Great Stars Etc. As same goes for Warrior & others too.

LIFE WOULD BE EASIER!

I heard both sides of the stories of Warrior & others.

I believe Warrior and always will. I now understand why Warrior was fired. He was told not to show up at his Promos & other events while trying to steal Warrior's (Always Believe) that was for his merchandise & stuff. BUT THAT'S THE PAST!

NOW is Now...,

Warrior did say in some way on the radio when he challenged Vince for WM XXV, That if things can work out, Leave the past where it's at and just do it. 25 Years, Why not make it happen. It's like a 25th Year Anniversary.

I SAY LET IT HAPPEN! DO IT!

Maybe Warrior & Vince will come together finally and make history. It doesn't hurt to try. Warrior even said Vince and Linda were like parents to him. Come on OL' J.R. my favorite commentary with Lawler, Help support this issue & make it worth it.

For now, Take care J.R. Keep up the great work!

4-Ever WWE fan,

Danny Wissert
