Let's not waste any time. On to your comments...
Doug - The Funks are a lock to be in the WWE HOF, in my opinion. Not sure when, but locks nonetheless.
Patrick - Chicago crowds are awesome. Always have been. I love working in the Allstate Arena. Usually my boys from the Bears join us. As you know, several Sooners are now Chicago Bears.
David F.- I get asked about bringing back wrestlers from another era often. In theory, the ideas are solid. However, lots of older wrestlers are not interested in getting back in the ring or even leaving their homes. Travel and injuries, or sometimes even personal issues, make these folks want to stay at home or close to home. It takes two to tango and some times the older guys are done dancing.
Kathy - Mr. Kennedy is going to be a big star in the WWE and has some “Stunning Steve” Austin qualities about him. Kennedy can be a main eventer for years if he stays healthy and sane. Our Chipotle Bar-B-Q Sauce is my personal favorite, for the record, but we sell more of the original, which is a sweet sauce. I eat one or the other virtually every day.
RGT - Yes, I did a radio show on WSB AM750 out of Atlanta, for quite some time, and loved doing it! I have yet to eat at Abdullah’s place in Atlanta, but I hear it is really good. Friends of mine eat there regularly. Maybe I can get by there when we are in Atlanta in late April.
Mike - Adrian Peterson would be a great addition to the NY Jets, but I don’t see AD lasting that long in the draft. I think Ahmad Green, formerly of Green Bay, may be your answer at RB for 2007, if he can be signed via free agency.
Glen - What will be the last match at ‘Mania 23? Beats the heck out of me, but I would guess Taker vs. Batista. But don’t be surprised if Cena-HBK doesn’t steal the show. Every match on the card should have the burning desire to steal the show or those without the fire should go home.
JR - We are only taking care of the Hornets until N.O. is ready for them again on a full time basis. They have been great for OKC though, which probably means the Seattle Sonics will relocate here in the future.
Chuck - I will definitely be at OU’s Red-White game…Good Lord willing. It’s on Saturday, April 7, and will be televised by ESPN.
Yogita/Wales - When the Undertaker finally goes into the HOF, it will definitely be alone.
Joe - Yes, I love the Sopranos, and still check out the Godfather movies, especially 1 and 2. I even love documentaries about “the mob” on the History Channel, etc.
Mr. Body - Be patient, the Von Erichs are a lock, as are the Freebirds, in my opinion for the WWE HOF. I don’t do any posting on soonerscoop but I am a customer.
Greg - Good luck soldier, on your next mission. You are a true hero. God Bless and keep you safe. The Raiders need a QB, but AD would look great in silver and black! The Beef Jerky debut is imminent.
Cory - Rikishi is still wrestling on the independent circuits.
Chris S. - Absolutely, managers can make a comeback in wrestling. It’s all about the level of talent. I could see Matt Striker becoming a viable manager some day.
Ahmad/Kuwait - Thanks for checking out our site. Be safe and well.
Thorsten/Germany- I enjoy watching Sabu, especially when he is in hard core rules matches. Sabu is certainly unique and can still get it done.
Billy - I don’t talk about money, salaries, etc here. That would be violating an individual’s trust, which isn’t cool. Suffice to say, if an individual is smart with his or her cash, they can live a great life thanks to wrestling if they simply save, live within their means, and keep Uncle Sam happy.
Rich - Gordon Solie in his prime and in the WWE today would be successful, but his hold by hold calls would have to change to story telling, as that is the WWE style and what broadcasters are encouraged to do. Gordon was awesome in his day!
I-Man - Wrestlemania will never be on free TV in my life time or at least that’s my opinion. There is too much PPV money to be earned, far more than a network would pay in the form of a rights fee.
Matt C - Don’t be concerned about AD’s injuries. He is one tough hombre who reminds me of a young Jim Brown, who I have always thought was the NFL’s best all time running back. A sprained ankle and a broken collarbone are nothing to be overly concerned about. The fact that AD likes to run over people and not around them is a bigger issue for a guy who runs a 4.38 forty.
Freddy - I would love to see Bob Uecker at the HOF. Muhammad Ali should go in some day too.
Jimmy - I do remember meeting you at Gibson’s in Rosemont. What a meal and thanks for the beverage. Let’s do it again one of these days.
Tom - Stan Hansen is and always has been a class act, not to mention one tough son of a gun. I was a referee when Stan and Bruiser Brody were just breaking into the business and were tag team partners. We talked a lot about football as I recall. I have great respect for Stan Hansen.
Phil - Let’s just say that the business has seen many tough guys pass thru the biz, but none of them wanted any piece of Haku.
Earle - Try some decaf. You should never write when you are angry. I have learned that the hard way. Arn Anderson is adversely affecting C.M. Punk? Highly unlikely. That may be an outsiders observation or interpretation of a second hand story, but I don’t see it. Punk is really good and everyone in the WWE knows it.
Brian C.- I don’t know about the politics in the WWE, but if I had to guess, I probably would say there are more Republicans than Democrats. Remember, I said it was a “guess.” I never ask.
Lee - As far as I know, the brand extension is here to stay, but I think we will see a little more crossover at times, much like RVD vs. Edge on Raw a couple of weeks ago.
David - Was I surprised by what occurred in Montreal 1997? Absolutely. Never saw it coming and that’s a fact….Jack!
Sam - Who’s the better tag team wrestler Ricky Morton or Bobby Eaton? Who’s the better artist Rembrandt or Picasso? I am not touching that one as Morton and Eaton are gold…...Gold Jerry Gold!!
