MORE Q&A'S UPDATED....LATEST, STUPID CONSPIRACY THEORY....OU LOSES TO 'HEELS

We have updated more of your questions and addressed your comments in our Q&A section of this site.
My Oklahoma Sooners fell to an excellent North Carolina hoops squad earlier today in Memphis. OU finished 30-6 and I am proud of Coach Jeff Capel's team not to mention the fact that many of the roundballers including the College Basketball Player of the Year Blake Griffin has enjoyed J.R.'s Family BBQ on many occasions over the past couple of years. Congrats to the Tarheels and best of luck in winning two more games and the NCAA National Title. OU could not hit a three to save their soul in much of this game which was the same woes that struck Syracuse against OU on Friday night.
As you will see in the Q&A section we have just updated, a fan asked me if I was essentially phoning it it on Friday Night Smackdown this week as I did not have the same intensity that I usually have. He said he read on the internet where I was trying to draw attention to myself by doing a lousy job because I am still angry about being on Friday Night SmackDown and not on Monday Night Raw.
What a load of manure.
I have been been battling pneumonia for the past two weeks that has included an infected, fluid filled lung. This infection has zapped my strength. My doctor instructed me to stay down for two weeks but I had work to do with the Smackdown tapings in Corpus Christi and a trip the following week to Connecticut to voice over the Smackdown program that aired this past Friday. I never took the two weeks off that I perhaps should have in hindsight and I will be the first to admit that my work the past two weeks wasn't up to my own personal standards.
However, for any one to think that I am not giving 100% effort at work is pathetically ignorant. Those that say such B.S. do not know me well nor have they known me long. My work ethic has never been questioned in my career by those that I have worked with or that matter in my life.
The work that I have done recently that some have mistakenly identified as having some sort of agenda behind it is simply a result of my health issues of the past couple of weeks. Another matter regarding this issue is this; all announcers in WWE are encouraged to not yell at the audience and to lay out more and allow the in ring talents to better tell their stories at approiate times. Plus, there are times when the announcers, for whatever reason, are buried in the audio mix and are hard to hear which I feel is an issue with the various networks. Lastly, what one sees on the monitor dictates any broadcasters level of exuberance.
Bottom line, for those conspiracy theorists who believe they have discovered some unique insight to the wrestling business as it relates to my announcing, try again. Create another conspiracy theory that actually has validity.
My work may not be everyone's cup of tea and that's fine. Some weeks I don't like it either. My style is unique and isn't for everyone. But no one has the right to indict me for half assing it at the announce table when I have worked for over 30 years to build a body of work that I hope will stand the test of time, for better or for worse.

With Wrestlemania right around the corner I would just like to know what you favourite Wrestlemania moment personal to you was, what was the moment that stood out on a personal and emotional level for you?
From a personal perspective The Ultimate Warriors win over Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania VI stands out as one of my all-time favourite moments, as he was always one of my favourites and I always liked to see the underdogs win and going into it I would have banked all my money on Hogan winning.

Hey JR, awesome to see ya on here. I was a big WCW fan in the late 90's as was everyone else who watched NWO vs WCW. But what I wanted to talk about was my TV crush growing up, DDP's girl Kimberly. In the late 90's while WWF's sex appeal were the blondes Sunny, Sable, Marlena, and later Debra and Trish, brunette lovers everywhere had a reason to watch WCW because of Dallas Page's gorgeous brown haired sidekick.
When WCW was bought out, do you think the WCW Invasion and Dallas's run the in WWF would have been more sucessful if Kim wanted to go along with him and creative could have made better stories up with those two? There would have been no reason for Dallas to stalk Undertaker's wife if he had a sexy wife of his own that half the fans already knew about. Do you think Kim could have been sucessful in the E on her own? I know she really was tired of the buisness at that point and wanted to get into acting, and never wanted to actually wrestle in the ring or work a WWE schedule but I would think she would have been a very big asset as a Diva/Manager if she chose to go that route. She's definatley a woman that can draw money with her personalty and sex appeal regardless of what she did.
I, as a long time wrestling fan have never, ever doubted your dedication and hard work in preping for the matches and delivering the storyline of any. Listening to your last broadcast I understood very well that you were under the weather. The fact that you were even willing to work under your situation just made me admire you more. Keep up the great work JR and hope you get well fast and teach the uncaring people of the world that you will always be the Hall Famer with dedication to broadcast come heck or high waters!

Just a question regarding the broadcast tables being broken by the wrestlers, Is a backstage joke amongst wrestlers to break them or are they instructed to and why is it 9 times out of 10 the poor spanish broadcast table is the one to be pulverised, and if it is your announce table that is broken how annoying is it to you and how hard is it to announce once it is pretty much destroyed.
p.s - Im curious to know if I would be able to order a case of your sause or is there a limit as I am in Austarlia and would love to have my family and friends and myself try them

JR - Any chance you'll visit the Friendly Tap when you come to RI for Backlash?
JR, I hope you stay on Smackdown because IMO, you are doing a great job, the show has improved a lot with your voice.
Smackdown is hands down the best brand right now and the only thing Raw has over it is the live aspect of it. Smackdown has it all, the big names like Edge, HHH and Undertaker, great future stars like R truth, Kennedy and MVP, high flyers like the Hardys, the Colons and Kendrick, beatiful women like Maria, Eve and Maryse, as well as the big bad heavy hitters like Kozlov, Big Show, Umaga and Great Khali.
The draft could make it better or worse, but I would like you to stay on the blue brand for at least another year. As soon as Vickie goes and the WWE championship stops looking like a toy, SD will become an even greater show.
J.R., you are one of the best in the biz. Anyone who says you are not up to snuff, must not have standards. On your worst day you are better then 95% of the announcers in America.
Keep up your solid broadcasting, and hopefully sometime soon Direct TV will give me a chance to watch Smackdown again, or better yet, you end back up on RAW after the 'draft'!!

Hey JR hope your starting to feel better. Now with that said JR after 30 years of top notch work which in my opinion was second to none, you don't have to explain your self to these IDIOTS that have nothing better to do but criticize people. Hey JR I guess we just got to accept that some people are just perfect hey boy.

Mr. Ross. - You do NOT have to justify anything in regards to your commentary or if someone thinks, you " called it in cause your not on RAW" - Umm, I really enjoy the fact you are on Smackdown. Its more Wrestling oriented and is home to some of the top superstars in the WWE. You on the play by play is the icing on the cake!
So I do have a question for you, I dont know if they ever battled before, but since we are going to see Matt Hardy vs Jeff Hardy at WM 25, my question is who do you think would win if the following brothers battled?
1) Terry vs Dory Funk? (around the area of both primes in the 70's)
2) Kevin vs Kerry Von Erich ? when they were in prime of the 80's or even better a three way with David included.
3) Jack vs Gerald Brisco in their prime too
