Raw Thoughts.. New Q&As are up on the site..

Raw was an entertaining broadcast from Ft. Wayne Monday night.    The youth movement continues, which is imperative.   Jericho adds a fresh element as the surprising World’s Champ w/ many viable challengers.   Manu changed his gear for the better and was put in the spotlight in the 6 man tag.   Randy Orton has a curious relationship with DiBiase, Rhodes, and Manu. I’m interested.   Glamazon vs Mickie was particularly physical. Will Candice be able to physically hang with Beth at No Mercy?   Charlie Haas is re-inventing himself in an entertaining “CHL” was the best yet.   Rey/Bourne vs Miz/Morrison was awesome and PPV worthy. Bourne’s shooting star press might be better named “Air Bourne.”    Lance Cade is evolving and is a physical kid.   Santino’s Honky Meter is entertaining. Can we expect to see the one and only HTM, the King’s first cousin, soon?   Considering no HBK, Cena or Punk, Monday Nite Raw delivered an entertaining show.    At least I enjoyed it in my Milwaukee hotel room. It makes me excited to broadcast Smackdown that will be taped Tuesday nite in Milwaukee.    Check out our updated Q&As, that I just answered while watching Denver destroy the Raiders.    I’ve got a feeling this week’s Friday Night Smackdown will be a good one. I fully expect the World’s Angriest Man to carry yours truly to another strong broadcast. I may have a surprise or two for the man know as the former “Human Suplex Machine.” :)   Big week for me as I get home Wednesday and head to Seattle Friday for Saturday night’s OU-Washington ESPN prime time game.   Boomer Sooner! If JR can see this-     with all the second and third generation superstars now in WWE (and on their way), what would you think of eventually having a "GENERATIONS" PPV, featuring ONLY 2nd and 3rd generation Superstars?

I'm glad to see Jericho as World Champ. I love this new youthful direction RAW has taken.

Since the introduction of new championships of over the past couple of years, what qualifies one as a Triple Crown Champion or better yet a Grand Slam Champion?

My Dear Sir,  My many thanks to you and for what you do.  I have really enjoyed you on Smackdown!  I think it's an interesting dynamic.

My major comment is about politics and wrestling.  I was watching ECW tonight and I kept hearing Matt Striker make political comments to go along side his color commentary.  While I really appreciate the WWE at the conventions and the Smackdown Your Vote Voter Registration Drive and at one time Obama, Clinton, and McCain made video messages to the WWE universe...I just don't think the WWE, through their talent, should promote one politcal party over the other.  Matt Striker has been making these comments since he took the booth over at ECW.  Mick Foley made lukewarm comments about Obama.  I just want to watch wrestling and be entertained.  I think the WWE is better than to let those kinds of comments go on air unchallenged.  ECW lost a viewer tonight..if just for tonight.  I was wondering what you thought of this.

thank you for you time, sir.

Santino saying "Honky Donky Man" was the highlight of the show for me.

I didn't even bother turning Raw on last night. Raw sucks and i'm NOT WATCHING Y2JACKASS.

A shame that Mickie's been shoved to the side in favour of the not-as-good Candice. There should have been a three way, possibly a four way also involving Kelly.

I Agree with you that suck that she taking a back seat for Candice and Kelly Kelly! Mickie has alot of true wrestling skills!

I wouldn't mind a three- or four-way with Candice, Mickie, and/or Kelly! << >> :)

JR:

With the new Mr. Perfect DVD out in shelves today, would it be surprising to see Joe Hennig come up to TV sometime soon to help promote the DVD of his father....and could it be possible that he might join Dibiase, Rhodes, and Manu. Just wondering because I love watching all these 2nd generation guys but even more so I loved watching Mr. Perfect when I was younger.

I love your "Air Bourne" idea!  Hope you can get that to come to fruition.

 Hey JR,

I thought Unforgiven was a great PPV - the scramble matches were great and the surprises with Big Show and Jericho were excellent! RAW was very good - I always prefer RAW when Cena isn't prominently featured (my personal preference) and I think it's great that superb all rounders like Orton and especially Jericho are carrying the title storyline, ably backed by the likes of Batista, Kane, JBL and Mysterio. Good stuff, looking forward to Smackdown!

I'm glad "the" Tazz is back on Smackdown. I miss Foley but Tazz has always held his own. He's a "credible commentator." I wish they involved him a little bit more though in some "extracurricular" activities. I always enjoyed the angles where he was forced to react physically, despite his wrestling days being over. (Kurt Angle "ECW Invasion" attack comes to mind).

Keep up the good work you two

Finally showcasing new talent. Its about time. Jericho is a great champ, and seeing some of the young guys get more time is a refreshing change.
