Greetings to all and thanks for stopping by our site. As the daylight burns...we begin...
Happy to report that our Ross Report podcast is ranked #1 on the ITunes Sports Top Ten in the USA, Canada, and the UK. Thanks to all of you who download it, FREE, and helped us earn these great results. A new podcast drops, at the latest, every Wednesday at podcastone.com and on ITunes. Spread the word and let's keep growing the brand.
Showtime Sports broadcaster Mauro Ranallo is featured this week on the Ross Report and next week WWE HOFer Trish Stratus is my guest. Mick Foley will be with me on Wednesday March 19.
We are actively looking at sites for future RINGSIDE: An Evening with Jim Ross shows which feature our No Holds Barred Q&A's. We have several dates penciled in and hope to be making some announcements soon.
Until then, tickets for RINGSIDE in NOLA are on sale now at ticketmaster.com and at the New Orleans House of Blues box office for two shows on Thursday April 3. Great way to kickoff the WM30 week as we will have shows stating at 6:30 and 9:30 pm.
VIP meet and greet tickets for the 9:30 show are sold out in NOLA but VIP tickets for the 6:30 show are still available.
I'm working on a three part series for FoxSports.com on the history of WrestleMania which will be posted soon. Lots of work going into this project that has been fun to research.
Interesting feedback from a past Podcast topic regarding why TV Wrestling Companies don't utilize time limits or draws from time to time. A competitive match with an added sense of urgency because of a time limit is much more appealing to me than a flaccid disqualification or a lame count out.
Having a presentation billed as an athletic contest that has no time limit for all the matches is not reality based.
Based on what some of those interviewed have told me, I'm not sure that the upcoming Paul Heyman DVD will be a tribute or a roast. Seriously, the DVD should be entertaining and informative but if you would have told me in our WCW days that Paul would someday have a WWE DVD, I'd have asked what you were smoking.
My Happy Heyman DVD interview lasted over two hours and from what I was told I was the last person to be interviewed for the much anticipated release.
Wrote a piece for FoxSports.com on the atmosphere inside a pro wrestling locker room from my early days in the biz vs. the travesty that occurred inside the Miami Dolphins locker room last season. Not sure when the feature will be posted but catch it if you can.
Old school wrestlers weren't too keen on calling a locker room a 'dressing room' as it was explained to me that athletes utilized a locker room and actors dressed in a dressing room.
Just a casual observation but Seth Rollins has stood out recently on WWE TV and has illustrated how one maximizes their minutes.

Classy moment of the week on TV Wrestling for me was TNA's Mike Tenay acknowledging the passing of wrestling legend and UK's own Billy Robinson. Tenay is a true wrestling historian and developed a friendship with Billy when both resided in Las Vegas.
Q&A's updated elsewhere here.
