I'm in computer hell...been stuck in DFW for 5 hours now and might not get home tonight. Damn I love traveling.
Enjoyed FCW trip...great facility...most kids have super attitude..looks like WWE has some keepers but overall the raw number or trainees is low.
Thursday's three TV show taping was solid. Dusty Rhodes does a nice job of writing the shows. Byron Saxton and Honest Abe Washington handled the broadcasting.
Percy Watson is an athletic freak. Funny looking red eye glasses or not, this dude can do it all athletically.
Kaval and Alex Riley had a helluva wrestling match that lasted almost 15 minutes on one of the TV shows. Match could have easily been a hit on Raw, etc.
I gave the kids an unofficial assignment to have completed by the next time that they see me which will be in about 30 days. I felt like a college instructor. Just call me "Dr. J.R." Or not.
Looking forward to being a part of the WWE tryout camp at the end of July. I hear over 50 prospects have made their own arrangements to attend.
FCW's current trainees w/o question have some potential keepers but I'll keep those names close to the vest for now. It largely depends on how hard they work and how they mentally approach the game. Those that make the business a major priority might succeed while those that only invest while they are at the facility or an arena will not.

It's cool to see how many movies Stone Cold is cranking out. I bet WWE could make a boatload of money if they sold all of his movies as a package deal.

Is Shad Gaspard still in FCW? I always thought he could be a top star in WWE. He had the size and look Vince liked, is he coming back soon to smackdown?
Shad is still there in FCW with plenty of work to do.
Hey there JR, a few random thoughts.....
Watching Smackdown right now. Seeing Kane give his championship address and somewhat-fondly remembering the days when he couldn't talk. Don't get me wrong, his world title win is long overdue, but he does get a little overdramatic. On the plus side, he's held the title for a week so far, already conciderably longer than his first world title reign.
Alberto Del Rio, after four weeks of his vignettes I just want to say Shut up and Wrestle! Nice to meetcha now show us the hype is worth it.
Oregon is well known for it's cheese. Tillamook is one of the best cheese-makers in the US (the sharper the better for me). I say this for Jack Swaggers sake, he needs some good cheese with his whine.
On that DVD about the Ultimate Warrior, you made a comment saying he needed subtitles on his interviews to be understood. Well, you were wrong. I was bouncing around YouTube the other day and came across some videos of Warriors promos with subtitles, and they didn't help.
I was surprised to see Bret on Raw, I don't think anyone saw that coming.
Finally, about your ongoing Raw vs Smackdown argument. I'll agree Raw is in a number of ways better, except recently someone sat down with a stopwatch and did some critical math. He found out that Raw averages 27 minutes in actual match time, 27 minutes out of a 2+ hour show, the rest of the time being recaps, promotion, and talk. Smackdown? Considerably more. Greater action goes to Smackdown. I know WWEs focus has for some time now been on story, but if this keeps up fans will start channelling Clara Pella, "Where's the Wrestling?". By the way, say what you will about TNA Impact but their in-ring time is greater than Raw or Smackdown, sometimes greater than both combined.
One day I'd like to see football announcer Andres Cantor do commentary on WWE, "GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!"
