Greetings everyone and thanks for stopping by our site. It's another beautiful day and I remain patient and vigilant that the facial nerves on the right side of my face will come to life any time now. Bells palsy has been around for at least 200 years with no known cure or cause. The last thing someone in my position should do is to stress over something that one can't affect. So I don't. No timeline...no new news...no worries.

It's "hump day" and the day that I will do two radio shows, one at 3:30 central on 1400 KREF here in Norman and then at 5 p.m. on www.1560thegame.com on the highly rated Sean and John show.

Happy Tuesday...good of you to check out our site. We appreciate the visit and hope that you consider placing an order while you are here.

As you can see, I'm blogging more than normal because of my decreased travel schedule these days. Blogging keeps me busy plus I enjoy writing.

Monday Update

Good day everyone! Hope everybody's well and thanks for stopping by our site.

It was really a beautiful weekend in Norman, Oklahoma Saturday and Sunday which turned into a fun, football weekend, too. Nice win by OU against a much better than expected, well coached K-State team Saturday and now it's on to the great football town of Lincoln, Nebraska this Saturday night for another chapter in the OU-Cornhusker rivalry. I hope to attend my first ever game in Lincoln if all goes well this week on the health front. That's one of my goal's for the week...feel good enough to make the trip up I35 north to Huskerland.

Business has been steady in our on line store and many orders will be sent out today via Federal Express. It looks as if we will likely not be able to guarantee Holiday orders to be delivered before Xmas that are placed with us AFTER December 17 or so. We're still working on that exact date but let's use December 17 for now and I hope we can encourage you to not only use our products for unique and affordable holiday gifts but to order early to make sure that you get delivery of your products.

Saturday Update...Great Week for On Line Business...Free Shipping Continues

It's a perfect, football Saturday here in Norman with clear, blue skies and temps in the mid 60's as I write this and prepare to attend tonight's OU vs. K-State Big 12 Conference tilt which airs at 6 central on Fox Sports Southwest. I will join "my team" on the Sooner sideline for the game so look for the black hat. :)

Another HUGE game in Oklahoma tonight is on ABC with Okie State hosting Texas in Stillwater where they have finally sold every seat available in the newly renovated T. Boone Pickens Stadium in arguably the biggest game, perhaps ever, at the Brisco Brothers alma mater. Dusty Rhodes, noted Longhorn fan, and Gerry Brisco have a friendly wager on this game with "The Dream" laying 20 points and taking his 'Horns. The official spread is 9...not that I would be keeping track of such info.

Sunday will be another "football day" full of key NFL action especially the Vikings vs. the Packers from Lambeau Field as Bret Favre returns with more angst in Green Bay than Larry David would have attending a Catholic Church service based on a recent "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episode.

Our on line business has been brisk and my sister in law, who handles our shipping, has remained diligent in getting your orders out via Federal Express within hours of receiving them. We sure appreciate your business. We'll gladly take your order this weekend and ship it Monday.

Thursday Update...Business Has Picked Up In Many Ways...

Good day everyone. It's homecoming week here in Norman as the Sooners host the Kansas State Wildcats, the alma mater of Mr. Hughes, this Saturday night.

JR's BBQ joint should be rocking this weekend not only in the store but for tailgate packs and to go orders. To Go orders are not to be confused with the noted member of the wrestling group formerly known as Kaientai, Dick Togo.

On line sales are brisk, they could always be better, but we are happy with your support and Federal Express is doing a great job with our FREE shipping throughout the United States. Check it out and place your order today.

The Beef Jerky sales have really escalated and the 97% Fat Free product cut from the eye of round is really tasty and a healthy snack unless one happens to be a vegan. Plus, the Jerky is quick and easy to ship and has a viable shelf life. I love it and it keeps me from eating so much bad stuff as I like the protein intake and the low carb aspect of the product.

Let's hope that everyone is having a good day. Thanks for stopping by our site and for telling friends about us. We are also still doing solid biz with our two BBQ Sauces and the Chipolte Ketchup which is really becoming popular. This Friday we have our meeting with the good folks at Homeland Groceries based in OKC and we hope to get some positive news on that front of getting our products in 4 stores in Norman, Oklahoma to test market.

Saturday Update

Hope everyone's having a great Saturday. As I write this on my trusty Blackberry, I am on an Oklahoma team bus in route from KC to Lawrence and will be on the Sooner sideline later today for an important Big 12 Conference football game. Yep, my neurologist cleared my travel because the flight was only 40 minutes and I'm drive home after the game w/ friends. Here's the latest. I had a MRI Friday on my brain and inner ear and will get the result, hopefully, Monday afternoon. Hopefully, that will be good news. more »
