J.R.'s Family Bar-B-Q

For my money there is no better football coach on any level of the game than Oklahoma’s head football coach Bob Stoops. Granted I am not too unbiased as I am a HUGE OU fan and Bob is a personal friend of mine. Nonetheless, I have personally grown to know that Bob Stoops is a wonderful family man, a competitive son of a gun, and whose character is beyond reproach. If Bob Stoops tells you something you can take it to the bank as Bob’s word is a good as gold. I have been on the sidelines of many, many OU Football games thanks to Coach Stoops. Being that close to the action allows one to see the “in game” management Bob utilizes based on his pre-game preparation and his “feel for the game”. When I was really sick last year and hospitalized with my cancer scare and had to undergo major abdominal surgery one of the many callers was Coach Bob Stoops who called me on “game day” when he is his busiest. I still have that message on my cell phone it meant so much to me.
