J.R.'s Family Bar-B-Q

This is a custom Zippo lighter given to Dennis Brent by Fritz Von Erich in 1986 at the conclusion of a meeting with Dennis and Fritz at the Von Erich Ranch in Edom, Texas. The two met about Dennis doing a publication for World Class Championship Wrestling and at the end of the meeting Fritz got up and went in side his ranch house and returned to the picnic table they were sitting and presented this token of his appreciation to Dennis. Fritz told Dennis, “I only give these to people I like.” Also at the meeting were Kevin and Kerry Von Erich and David Manning. This custom Zippo lighter is a very rare collectible and to my knowledge this is the first time a photo of one has ever been seen.
