I am standing with the late, great country comedian/personality Jerry Clower who was a star with the Grand Old Opry in Nashville and had many hit comedy “albums”. Clower was a former fertilizer salesman who told such hilarious stories to his peers at sales meetings that he was “discovered” and went on to a long career in show business. This man was Ron White before there was a Ron White and long before Larry the Cable Guy and Jeff Foxworthy. Jerry was a funny man who loved The Junkyard Dog. Jerry, myself, and others sat up one night and told stories until dawn. This was a big deal for our show when the famous Jerry Clower made an appearance to plug his upcoming album and tour on our highly rated wrestling show. I would bet you by the looks of it I got my hair cut either at barber college or by a visually impaired person.
