J.R.'s Family Bar-B-Q

This photo was taken in our backyard in Norwalk, CT during the photo shoot for “J.R.’s Cookbook”. Terri Runnels, left, and Lita were 2 of the 4 Divas to grace the front and back covers of the book which is still available today. It is filled with my Mom and Grandma’s Oklahoma recipes and many wrestling tales of the road and some unique wrestling top ten lists. Terri had a great run in the biz beginning at WCW as Alexandra York but before that she did make up for the likes of Larry King and yours truly at the CNN Center. Terri even had a stint as the cigar smoking Marlena in the WWE which would have been the most controversial character in the business if the original creative plans for her proceeded. Lita is still going strong in the WWE and has endured a great deal in and out of the ring but has persevered like a true champion despite the hands she has been dealt. I have great respect for both these ladies.
