Man, what a nucleus to build a territory around! Here are three men with great character and integrity who all brought something different albeit valuable to the table. DiBiase was a ring general, Duggan a two fisted brawler, and Doc an amateur wrestler with a brawler’s mentality. I love these three guys and we all worked for Mid South together in the early 80s and all learned the foundation of our business from the legendary promoter, wrestler, taskmaster, and coach, Cowboy Bill Watts. Athletically speaking I have nothing in common with these men but we all have in common the fact that we all were “verbally motivated” by the big Cowboy on numerous occasions. Jim Duggan and Doc are each cancer survivors which is a magnificent gift from God. If I had to pick 10 men to start a wrestling territory these three would be on the list.
