J.R.'s Family Bar-B-Q

Here I am interviewing the then blood thirsty Sheepherders along with their flag bearer, a young Johnny Ace back in the 80’s. Luke and Butch comprised the Sheepherders and were one of the most graphically violent teams I ever saw. Their blood bath matches are still talked about in the Mid South territory and other territories the New Zealanders wrestled. The kinder, gentler and little older version of this duo were rechristened The Bushwhackers and made many fans smile with their antics in the WWE toward the end of Luke and Butch’s career together. Johnny Ace aka John Laurinaitis is now a Vice President in the WWE in charge of Talent Relations, a job yours truly once occupied. John’s nephew James Laurinaitis will wear #33 this fall for the Ohio State Buckeye football team and start at middle linebacker. James is the son of John’s brother Joe better known to wrestling fans as Road Warrior Animal.
