Michael Hayes speaks to J.R. at the Tulsa Convention Center.
One of my favorite all time broadcast partners was Freebird Michael Hayes back when we were working for the Bombastic Cowboy, Bill Watts, in the UWF and were taping our TV shows every other Sunday night in the Tulsa Convention Center. The ‘Birds were a hated trio and Michael was their primary messenger who could REALLY talk. The Fabulous Freebirds did not play a role…Hayes, the late Terry Gordy, the most natural superstar I ever saw, and Buddy Roberts WERE the Freebirds, for better or for worse, 24/7.
JR and Micheal Hayes has always been one of the best commentators in wrestling. They have different voice which can make the people who are on TV exited. I have been watching wrestling since I was in grade 5 and till the date I watch it for fun. I have noticed many people like to watch wrestling in home theater system which provides surround sound where people can listen JR and Micheal Hyes very clearly and they sound very exiting which makes wrestling more fun.

Michael Hayes is a true professional! happy to admit that I heard most of the shows with his participation (those I had to miss I downloaded by mp3 search :) they say when the person stops growing, the degrading begins... it's not true! I can't agree more: don't get no better than that! we love you already!
