hey JR, wanted to tell you how much i enjoyed Dinner: impossible last night. both my wife and i thought you did a great job, but we both thought Santino stole the show. my three year old especially liked when he helped "crack" the eggs. I'm going to have to remember that technique for her. keep up the good work, JR, and we miss you on Smackdown!
Thanks...Miz and Santino were great. I enjoyed my experience and would have stayed for the whole show if I hadn't had to leave for Summerslam. I multi tasked that day.
Hey J.R. I hope you are getting better. I am watching the Dinner Impossible show on the food network and it got me thinking about the talk about the WWE Channel. Would you do a cooking show if offered? I am talking like a Bobby Flay type of show or something along those lines. I would love to get cooking tips from you without a doubt sir. Jeff

You didn't have a category for "Dinner Impossible", so I chose BarBQ! I am a big fan of Dinner Impossible and Robert Irvine. Very much enjoyed that you were on there! You added an excellent angle, though, for obvious reasons, Gail Kim was the big upstage-r (forgive my grammatic license). Too bad you didn't get to complete the cooking part of the mission. How was it to work with Robert Irvine? He is tough in the kitchen, but knows his stuff, although I am curious as to how much "staging or scripting" is done for the show, or is it as it is seen with the finished product? Hope you're doing well, as I was not aware of your poor health. I see you on the bench at football games on tv. I have a cousin who is also on the sidelines, and is a "big brass" in the athletic department. However, I am NOT a fan....more of a rival (ok, totally a rival). I remember watching you officiate a basketball playoff game in McAlester back in the mid-80's on a recruiting evaluation trip. As I said, good luck with your health!
Wow...very interesting email especially when you got to the part about my officiating hoops. Some fans will h ave a hard time believing that one! Chef Irvine was a cool dude and really has his stuff together. The entire crew were neat guys and many of them big wrestling fans. I had to leave "early" which was after about 6 hours there to go prep for the Summerslam broadcast which made my day about 18 hours long. more »
Just a couple of comments I really like the fact that your store items are so reasonable priced that i can afford them. also i really cant wait to try out all the sauces and the dry rub. it will go great with chicken on the grill and the free shipping is really nice of you too! hope you feel better

Hey JR. This isn't a question, but a comment on your cookbook. I recently made the turkey chili, and it was very, very good. I also plan on making the mile high peanut butter pie in the next couple days. And to anyone else reading this, I definitely recommend picking up the cookbook if you haven't yet.

Now we h ave an offer on the site's on line store to where I'm personalizing the JR's Cookbook for holiday gift giving, stocking stuffer type gifts. I'm anxious to hear how other recipes work out for you.
Dear Mr. Ross, First and foremost, I hope you get well soon because the WWE just doesn't look right without "Good Ol' J.R." there. Anyway, I have two quick questions for you. First, I have been to your restaurant and your barbecue and sauces, to coin a phrase from John Cena, "rock!!" With two types of BBQ sauces and a ketchup already available for purchase, have you ever thought about doing a spicy mustard of some type? As previously mentioned we are working on a mustard for 2010. If I had not gotten into wrestling I would have likely found my way in to other broadcasting fields or would have become a coach/teacher.

Not at this time..perhaps some day. Try out HOT bbq sauce.
JR, Hope you are making a speedy recovery! We are coming to OKC Sunday for the Thunder game and will definitely be eating lunch at your restaurant. Do you sell the jerky packages at the restaurant or is it better to order it online? Thanks Derek

It might be because you sound like an obsessed, spooky fan. Why would you write our site in hopes of reaching Mickie James?
