Hello, Mr. Ross! Big time rasslin' fan and (bigger?) food fan here. I've been doing a little kitchen chemistry with some of your products and have come up with some dandies, but this one was too good to keep to myself. I cooked up a pound of ground chuck and tossed in some chopped onions, bell peppers and garlic. Then I mixed two parts chipotle ketchup with one part hot BBQ sauce and just a smidge of mustard, and a little brown sugar. Then I mixed it all together and threw it on a toasted bun. I dubbed it "The Sloppy Jim". It was a slobber-knocker!

J.R.'s Answer:

I think that you've got yourself a "Food Network" find with that tasty concoction. Nice job as it sounds like a red neck delight. Keep those discoveries coming.

Well, I used the entire bottle of the Original BBQ Sauce to make two Pizza's.. Everybody that tried the sauce and the pizza said it was EXCELLENT!! They love how the sauce has a sweet flavor to it... Substituting your sauce for Domino's BBQ sauce was a damn good one for a few crew Pies..Haven't tried the Ketchup or the Hot BBQ yet..

J.R.'s Answer:

Good feedback. Perhaps we can turn on the Dominoes big shots to a new product that will rock their world. Hey, somebody is going to create a new, sellable, delicious product. Right?

Good Ol JR What's your opinion of bison meat? Billionaire Ted extolls its virtues all the time and even makes it the centerpiece of his restaurants. While I like the fact that it's supposedly more "healthy" than regular beef, Buffalo meat is often dryer and tastes more gamey than I like my meat to taste. Maybe there's something wrong with me and my taste buds. I figured that with you being knowledgable about so many things and because you live in an area where many buffalo roam, you would probably have an opinion on this issue.

J.R.'s Answer:

I like it as it's lower in fat than beef but it has to be properly prepared and seasoned to get the "gamey" taste out of it. Sounds like it needs some Chipotle Ketchup. I'm just saying. Ostrich meat is also really healthy and not as "gamey."

Hey JR- just ordered a case of the Chipotle Ketchup. Here's my question. Next time should I order 2 cases, or 3? I'll save you the trouble and answer the question myself- 5! No joke JR, this is by far- by FAR- the best sauce (not just ketchup, but all around sauce) that I've ever had. And I know that might sound like hyperbole, but I assure you it's not. It works on EVERything- fish, chicken, beef, pork, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, rice, broccoli- and I'm not even joking. Anything you can eat- you can put this sauce on. Thanks for your time.

J.R.'s Answer:

My gosh.. what a fantastic endorsement!! We are in the process of doing some new things on the site that I think you will like when it comes to case pricing. Thanks so much for your business and support. I should hire you to do PR.

Thanks again for taking my sometimes odd questions, and it's refreshing to hear an honest opinion. I'm patiently waiting to watch RAW is Austin on DVR with my close friend back home. I was wondering what is your favorite use of the Hot BBQ sauce, and what kind of meat is your favorite compliment to the sauce. I'm going to purchase some sauce, I'm still trying to decide what to get. Thanks as always!

J.R.'s Answer:

I use all our sauces in a variety of ways. I find that baked or grilled chicken is a great meat to use HOT or Original Sauce. At times, I've mixed HOT BBQ with our Chipotle Ketchup and mixed it into hamburger meat to throw on the grill. You should be as creative as you want to be. We've even had folks use the HOT to make their own ****tail sauce for shrimp, etc.

JR I love the popular Chinese dish known as "General Tso's Chicken" which features deep fried chicken in a sweet and spicy sauce. Do you think it would be worthwhile to try to make it with a sauce using a blend of your hot Bar-B-Q sauce and Chipotle Ketchup? As crazy as it sounds I think General JR's Chicken BBQ blend may be better than the "original" recipe and will probably go down easier. I can't tell you how many times my digestive system been punished a few hours after visiting Chinese restaurants.

J.R.'s Answer:

It's worth a try...let me know how it goes. Interesting idea.

Good ol' JR I can't stand the Bar-B-Q sauce at McDonald's, Burger King, Arby's, Hardees and a number of other fast food places. Would you ever consider dealing with any or all of these franchises to make arrangements to serve your fine Bar-B-Q sauce there? It would be more convenient to go to a McDonald's or Burger King knowing that they serve your fine Bar-B-Q there then having to always remember to bring a bottle of your good stuff to each fast food place.

J.R.'s Answer:

Easier said that done is an understatement dealing with large corporations such as you mentioned. They likely use the cheapest, vinegar based sauce that they can package for a condiment.

Hi J.R. I saw your cook book and I wanted to know if Is available to buy in the uk thank you.

J.R.'s Answer:

We might be able to ship a book, not food, to the UK but the shipping cost would be likely around $20 USD but that's an estimate.
