J.R.'s Answer:

We knew what we did not want, no vinegar, and did a great deal of trial and error in my wife's kitchen. My Mom made a great sauce from scratch and we tried to get as close to that as possible while not having the exact recipe. We are always looking to grow but we feel we are set as we speak with our two BBQ Sauces and our Chipolte Ketchup.
