Dear Mr Ross A how do you do and a tip of the hat from across the pond here in England. Being a student here, any day the sun peeks, the pens are down and BBQ comes out. What could make our meat more toothsome than a bottle of 'J.R.'s Original Bar-B-Q Sauce®' $5.95 for a bottle of 'J.R.'s Original Bar-B-Q Sauce®' is fantastic! Regretfully however the shipping cost of $96.58 is not. As much as i would love to pay $102.53 for a bottle of 'J.R.'s Original Bar-B-Q Sauce®' sadly this lowsome student must spend that money on good game of Texas Holdem' and more than a few stevewisers. Is there anyway chance of the shipping costs being lowered so us fans of the grill here in England can enjoy a bottle of 'J.R.'s Original Bar-B-Q Sauce®'? salivatingly awaiting Jonathan ( p.s - I feel your pain with bad beats in Holdem'. The other day i missed out on a final table spot with AA facing 22. Wouldnt you know it, that little duck swam up on the river. Such is the game! hope all is well :-) )
I fully understand your situation. Shipping costs are crazy. High gasoline prices haven't helped our cause. If we ever partner with a sauce distributor or a business in the UK that could handle our shipping from there it would ease this matter and make all our products affordable. I don't blame you on your desision as I would have made the same.
<p>Hey JR, with your restaurants running successfully, is there any chance that there may be some <strong>JR's BBQ </strong>catering at <strong>WrestleMania XXV</strong>. I'm sure the fans who will have travelled from all over the world, would love to try your food as they most likely will not get an opportunity to visit one of your restaurant in Oklahoma.</p>
We are working on having a JR.'s Family BBQ presence at WM25. I will keep you aprised.
How long would it take to ship some beef jerky to Nova Scotia, Canada? I'm a giant jerky fan, and would love to try yours out.
We ship Fed X ground or regular mail depemding on the order. My best guess would be one week. Our Jerky sales have sky rocketed and we have decided to stock only the Championship Original when current inventories of the other flavors are sold out.

It's ben a long time since I lived in Atlanta but I always used to enjoy going to Fat Matt's BBQ and had many meals there with my pal Dennis Brent. I don't know the hot spot now but former WCW collegue Gary Juster told me recently that Dreamland BBQ put a store in the Atlanta area. Give them both a shot.
which do you use charcole or propane?
At home, for grilling I use propane because of my lack of free time that I have and propane is quick and easy to use. I do use a smoker box on my grill where I alternate woods to add additional flavor to the products on the grill. In our restaurants we smoke, not grill, with hickory.
Dear J.R. Do you think J.R's BBQ will go globaly?
Excellent...just like Heinz Ketchup, etc. It is a great, high quality product. I hope you will try some from our on line store. Getting into grocery stores however is a tough and expensive proposition as the cost for shelf space is big money.

I used to get great "Q" at Fat Matt's Rib Shack. There really isn't a shortage of good BBQ in the Atlanta area. I even heard a Dreamland went in there but wasn't as good as the Alabama versions.
What happened to J.R.'s Roasted Hot Pepper Sauce? Man, it was great! Will you be bringing this product back anytime soon?
Most likely in time. We just started making HOT BBQ sauce which is awesome but only if you like your sauce HOT! We hope tohave it up on the site soon. We are close to having all our sauces in smaller (12 oz) plastic bottles which will lessen the ridiculous shipping costs. We will revist the hot sauce.
