Hello JR I have been addicted to watching food shows like Man vs Food and Bizaar Foods. I was wondering, do you have any kind of food challenges at your place? Like a giant sandwhich or big plate of something that has to be eaten within a time limit? Have you ever eaten anything considered bizaar like bugs or some kind of raw innards? Here is an idea, 5 lbs of bbq covered worms, eat it all and get a JR's BBQ t-shirt. Yummy.....maybe not. (I meant this to be all in fun)

I am a huge Food Network fan. I have eaten scrambled eggs and calf brains cooked together when I was a kid.

Going on a road trip with a couple of buddies. Part of that trip includes Memphis. It being the place for BBQ (other than Norman and your place of course) - what is the best bbq you have had in Memphis? - Paul C.

Cozy Corner is a good one, the King's favorite. Corky's was good too the last time Lawler and I were there. We honestly feel our "Q" rivals any thing in Memphis or Kansas City. Only one way to find out.

Hi! Quick question..on a scale of 1-5 with 1 being Mild, how spicy is the Chipolte Ketchup? Reason I'm asking is that I've been hearing very nice things about ur ketchup but sadly,I cant stand too much spice...I do love ur BBQ sauce by the way (i kept one of the bottles as a souvenir) looking forward to your answer.. The ketchup has a nice smoky flavor and is not Tabasco hot.

Hey JR, I remember you writing about possibly getting the shipping rates down to around $12 for the UK. How close are you to securing this deal as we UK fans can't spend $100 on sauce (no matter how good it tastes)? I hope you understand JR.

My wife and I love the jalapeño honey mustard. Just terrific! We've put it on sandwiches, chips, and I even threw some on a plate of mac & cheese. Question: Any suggestions of things you think the honey mustard is tasty with?

As a FYI, we are likely going to be closing the mustard out soon. It's too expensive to ship in the glass bottles. I don't have many bottles left and we will be blowing them out the door soon.

Hey JR, was just trying to price how much it would cost to get a case of 12 sauces delivered to the UK, tried the quote device on the store and it said delivery was free, as good as that would be, doesn't sound possible, was just wondering if you knew how much it would cost?... love BBQ'S, (even though we rarely have the weather over here), and am eager to try your product as from the feedback on here it seems to be a hit!

We are working with the United States Postal Service on a flat rate deal to ship our products to the UK. Stay tuned.

Hi JR - Any update on the international shipping issue? I'd love to order some sauce, but $55.00 US is a bit much to have it shipped to Canada.

We are working on it. does any one have any suggestions on how we can affordably ship to Canada. I think the USPS might be the way to go. We're open for suggestions. We are not a shipping company but are only trying to stay a float selling some great products.

Hello JR, Business idea for you Well maybe you have received my first message but it seemed your website for whatever reason logged me off when i hit submit, but nonetheless here i go again. For you to pick up business on the internet you have to get the die hard wrestling fans to buy and reading blogs gets them here but one way to get at least 10% increase of business is to offer a once a month random lottery of whomever ordered products that month and they will then win a autographed picture and ***here goes a ONCE IN A LIFETIME PHONE CALL FROM GOOD OL JR yes a 10minute or less call to thank them and to answer a question or two live. Now i know what you are thinking just what you want to do after your hectic travel schedule but think its cheap and effective. A photo and call i think you will get these die hard fans buying just for the simple chance of getting to speak to you. Plus the real key is marketing it on your website and hyping it up big. Like do a winners page for each month just to draw more attention to it. Contests that involve random drawings of people who purchased that month is a win win especially since it will cost you just time 10 minutes. Well JR my friends tell me i can sell sh*t if i had too. I guess that is a compliment since i have a creative mind. I too own a business small nonetheless but this is the start of building your BBQ EMPIRE. Okay little dramatic but you need to believe yourself first. Well Jr I have to go tend my own business needs now but will give you some more ideas if you want I'm working on two other good ones for you. Really tough to forecast the future. Right now we have all we can handle with one store in a sagging economy.

I was on your site earlier trying to order some BBQ sauce but your website certificate says "this certificate cannot be verified up to a trusted certification authority." I changed my mind I soon as I read that because I don't want to give out my personal info as well as my credit card info if the certificate is not verified, I thought I should point that out to you so you can fix that issue right away. Also how many restaurants do you currently have open? I thought you have two but the Restaurants link on your site only shows the Norman,OK location, thank you.

I am unaware of the issue you describe but will ask about it. We have one restaurant open and the Moore store is going to be flipped to a sports bar called Louie's this fall. If you continue to have issues write the contact us portion of the site.
