Hey JR, Do you think you'll ever write another cookbook?? Also, what do you think about Dr. Jerry Graham for the 2010 HOF class? He was from Phoenix AZ so he's be a good fit this year.

No on the cookbook at this time. We've written two. Not sure how I feel about Dr. Jerry Graham but I feel that he would be a long shot. I'm happy that the selection process isn't on my plate.

JR, hope you get well soon and can't wait to hear you again on SD. As a 25 year fan of WWE I think "The Abraham Washington Show" (with Tony Atlas) on ECW is one of the funniest skits I've EVER seen on WWE. In your opinion do you like it, and do you think it is here to stay, and do you see it getting a push to SD or RAW? Just curious cause that skit is hilarious! Get well soon sir. Thanks!

Not necessarily my personal cup of tea but I don't "hate it." If you like it then that's all that matters. I don't know what or who is "here to stay" as I have long removed myself from that process. Thanks for the get well wishes.

Hey Jr, just a quick suggestion for you. I know you have previously said that you were taking prednizone for your Bells Palsy, but have your doc's considered solumedrol? It is a more powerful steroid with fewer side effects. I am a psychologist, and we have good results with it dealing with any problems around the brain/head like MS, cerebral palsy, strokes, etc. If the prednizone is moving too slowly or doesn't seem to be getting you the results you are wanting, you might want to bring it up to your docs. Point them to a study in the fall's New England Journal of Medicine, because they may not know that it is now recommended for facial paralysis. Hope this helps and please know that you are in our prayers.

JR, in your opinion, what is the score going to be in this weekends OU-NU game in Lincoln?

I think it will be a close, low scoring game. Nebraska losing at home against OU might not happen. As an OU fan, this game really concerns me.

It might be because you sound like an obsessed, spooky fan. Why would you write our site in hopes of reaching Mickie James? I'm not going to be in touch with her especially over something as "unique" as someone wanting to "give my love" to the girl. Good grief! Your ensuing emails regarding Mickie will be deleted just so you'll know.

J.R. Not a question, but a comment. Just wanted to let you know that I went to the ECW/SUPERSTARS/SMACKDOWN taping in Providence last night, November 3. I am a big fan of your work and made a sign that read: "GET WELL SOON, JR." I was sitting in section 7, directly opposite the TV camera and noticed my sign on the Titantron several times. Unless, for some reason, my sign is edited out before Smackdown/Superstars air this week, you will be able to notice the sign. I hope you're doing well and I hope you're back soon. Shawn

Hi J.R., Hope your recovery is quick, but enjoy the "time off" as much as you can, as I'm sure we'll see you back at the announce desk weekly real soon. I have two questions: First, when a match comes outside the ring and the wrestlers make use of (and inevitably destroy) the announce desk, are you notified beforehand? Or do you just see two big 300 pounders coming your way and get the heck outta dodge? Next, what do you think WWE could do to strengthen the ECW brand? My strategy would be to have a superstar "take ownership" of the brand much the way The Rock did with SD when it launched. I think since a top talent like Christian is idling at ECW already, he could help the brand, and by doing so, help himself. Your thoughts?

When I see large bodies coming my way at ringside I don't have to be told to beware. Common sense kicks in or it should. Comparing Rock and Christian is a stretch to me and I love Christian. I do think Christian will end up on SD or Raw in time.

Hi JR. I am a new frequent visitor to this site and I am really enjoying reading your refreshing views on things. It is great to hear the opinions of someone who has been in the business for so many years and knows the industry back to front. I hope your health is quickly improving and that you will be back on our screens, where you belong soon as you are greatly missed. I just have 2 brief questions that I hope you can answer. Firstly, have you been in contact with Edge lately, and do you have any idea when his return is scheduled for? I think he's a fantastic character and always brings something fresh to screen. I have been a huge fan of his and followed his career closely since his debut in '98 and would love to see him him back by the time wrestlemania comes around. Secondly, I can understand why the WWE is pushing Sheamus at the moment and building up his character, because I believe he could be a huge star down the line, but after watching Raw, I cant help but think he may of went too far in his match. What do you think? It just seemed to much agression on a Jamie Noble who didn't appear to be able to handle that kind of intensity. Just my opinion. Thanks for reading my ramblings. I talked with Edge twice this week and he is improving. His alleged return at Wrestlemania is going to be a photo finish at best and I am encouraging him to be sure that he is 100% healthy and not compromise his health for one event, WM26 or not. Sheamus needs to make an impact for many weeks until he will be noticed and even then until he physically assaults someone of main event status his growth will be deliberate. I had no issues with what I saw from Sheamus Monday night.

I just saw you on an episode of the Family Feud from 1992 on youtube, where WCW was against the woman of GLOW. Any fond memories of the appearance? It looked like you guys had fun.

Being up all night the night before the taping with Brian Pillman and Mrs. Stallone being a little slow on the trigger which made me look better. :) Plus hearing the late Ray Combs tell some salacious Bob Barker stories.

You mentioned Mean Gene's restaurant in your blog. Where is Mean Gene's Burgers and Pizza located?
