Hey JR, what do you think of the Rampage Jackson/Dana White situation? I think Dana made a big mistake in how he handled it. They could have just pushed the fight to next spring and been fine. Heck, Hughes/Serra took like a year before that happened. Just as long as Jackson agreed to appear on the TUF finale, and at least be in the audience for the Memphis card, the fight with Rashad could have waited.
I don't know all the details of the situation. The retirement was abrupt and may have had more of an adverse affect on UFC than we know. Usually there is more to these stories than we civilians actually know. Dana is a volatile guy who is passionate about his brand so his reaction doesn't totally surprise me. This matter could also be resolved sooner than later for all we know.
