Hey JR I know your a fan of MMA now so i was wondering what your thoughts were on my favorite retired fighter Bas Rutten?
He was one of the guys early on who intrigued me and help get me interested in MMA. Bas is also a solid MMA commentator.
hey JR i hope u had a blessed and wonderful Easter(i know I'm late with that one),i a big Dallas Cowboys fan I'm 36 and been watching since i was five right along with Wrestling,ever since the days of Danny White and Tony Dorsett anyway,have u seen the new stadium where they will be playing this year? is it really eye catching as they say and what do think about Micheal Vick donning the sacred Star,hey they had T.O.,why not in my heart of hearts i think it may happen,u know the saying in Dallas"what Jerry Jones wants Jerry Jones gets" oh by the way u need to check out the jazz festival here in the Big Easy going to be nice this year,ur thoughts
Oklahoma plays in the first official game in the new Cowboys Stadium on Sept 5 against BYU and I will be there, front and center. Michael Vick will play in the NFL and he will make an impact but I don't know if it will be as a QB.
Quick question. You said you were a fan of UFC. Who would you say you were most entertained while watching? And could you ever see any other WWE superstar doing what Brock has?
I like GSP among many including Brock and I don't see any one in WWE who has Lesnar's skills for MMA.

Anderson Silva is nasty good and will win unless he makes a rare, major mistake. I hope Liddell wins but I don't know how much he has left in his tank. This is a huge opportunity for Rua. We'll see Saturday night.
What do you think happened to Shamrock against Diaz? I had Shamrock winning in paper, I'm still shocked he lost, but I never doubted Diaz... Does this kill a possible rematch against Cung Le?
Frank may need to think seriously about hanging up his gloves and concentrate on commentating and training fighters. He looked like he was spent and walked to the ring without the same look in his eyes that I have seen there before. But....fighters never think they are though until it is usually too late so the rematch could happen for the right money as that seems to be everyone's bottom line.
if for some reason you were let go from the WWE (hypothetically, of course), would you ever considered commentating at a MMA organization like the UFC or Affliction if it was ever brought to you? Id love to see you sitting with mike goldberg and joe rogan.. i love wrestling and love your commentating and I wish I could hear it while im watching the fights in UFC =]
I am a huge MMA fan and feel as if I could broadcast that product well but it is highly unlikely that UFC, etc would ever want a "pro wrestling guy" to ever represent their brand on air.

Depends on the draft and their ability to develop new stars. I hope they evolve positively and continue to help the OKC community. Signing Blake Griffin would be nice, too.

Greetings JR Do you think soccer will ever become a really popular sport in the US (on par with football, basketball and baseball)? The MLS has a modest following, maybe it's growing - but if so, it's growing slowly. I wonder if a sport like soccer with a lot of 1-0 and 0-0 scorelines can ever truly grip the action-hungry American sports market. A lot of the MLS' fans are recent immigrants or 1st or 2nd generation "ethnic" Americans like me -- something tells me that unless and until the kind of Americans who watch NASCAR and NCAA football embrace soccer, the sport will never truly "make it" in the US sports market.
It's going to be challenging in the States but lots and lots of kids are playing it.

Sooners ran afoul of a stout North Carolina team and OU's cold, three point shooting did them no favors. All the credit goes to the 'Heels but I am really proud of Coach Jeff Capel's team who went 30-6.
