Hi JR, ive seen many people asking you about the Lesnar - Mir fight coming up at UFC 100, but i wanted to know if you had a prediction for the GSP vs Alves fight?
I am an unabashed GSP fan. Until someone shows me that they can dominate St. Pierre I will hang my hat on GSP in any fight that he takes. I'm not saying GSP is unbeatable, as no one is, but he's damn close.
Hi JR, i was just wondering what you think OU has to do to get past UNC? Is the Offense the key, is it the defense, or will Blake Griffin continue to be a one man wrecking crew? Thanks.
Great guard play by OU will keep them in the hunt along with Blake Griffin staying out of foul trouble. The Sooners are the underdogs but they will bring great effort.
Hey JR! How are you doing? I hope that you are recovering nicely from your recent bout with pneumonia. Congrats on your Sooners making it to the final 8 of this years NCAA National Tournament! Since I bleed Carolina Blue, I'll be cheering on the Tarheels! The game should be a SlobberKnocker! It looks like it will be tough for either team to slow down Louisville. Sherri is a helluva coach, a good friend, and isn't hard on the eyes. Her team eats JR's BBQ quite often during the season especially our smoked turkey and smoked chicken. We have season tickets, front row, court side for OU Women's Hoops and love it!
Morning, JR!! Can't believe all that snow out there in Oklahoma, Colorado & Kansas. Rain moves here into Ohio tonight. Watched the OU/Syracuse game last night. Blake Griffin is awesome to watch for did you see the one dunk where he grazed his face on the backboard? Unbelievable. Can't wait for the OU/NC match Sunday. As you say, it will be a slobberknocker!!! Look forward to WM25 & the HOF Saturday night. Yeah, it sucks that the PPV is $55. I know the Hooters & Roosters and your restaurants will probably not show it, so I'm hoping one of my friends will order it and I'll chip in my portion of the event. With the NCAA West finals in Glendale, that stadium will be a great spot for next year's WM26. Question for this week. I read that you were doing some commentary for a "Rise & Fall of WCW" DVD. When do we see this being available? I have a feeling this will be a great release just like the ECW one 5 years ago. Can't believe it was 8 years ago this week when WWE bought WCW. I remember seeing that story in the papers and on the WWE website as the cover page. Curious also what do you remember about that day when it was announced about the purchase of WCW and that historic night on NITRO & RAW? I'm guessing the WCW DVD will be out in 2-4 months and will look at the WCW side of the business more than simply focusing on the Monday Night Wars. I knew WWE was negotiating to buy the intellectual property of WCW from Time Warner and that I would likely be talking to many people who WWE would be hiring and that all happened. No surprises really as it was on the drawing board for months.

Lashley looked horrible in his second fight... he had a hard time beating jason guida who has like the worst record ever... he almost got guillotined too.. i thought lashley was gonna tap.. we all thought lashley should of won in the first round, never thought it would go to the decision. definitely shows that Lesnar is much better mixed martial artist than Lashley.. even though Lashley won his second fight, and Lesnar lost, lesnar was more impressive against a now top 5 heavyweight fighter in frank mir. Lashley looks like he has a lot to learn. Did u see his recent fight?
Bobby is still learning a new craft. Give him time. Lashley is often times being compared to Lesnar which isn't fair as Lesnar is a different breed of cat I assure you.

March Madness is running wild, JR! MY bracket has my hometown Louisville Cardinals clashing with your Oklahoma Sooners in the finals. I know some people have told me it was a far-fetched match-up, but I think a strong Pitino squad clashing with a healthy Blake Griffin lead team is very possible. How does that match up to Good Ol' JR's bracket?
You have my Sooners going farther than I do because of our guard play being so inconsistent. Louisville and the Big East are the real deal. I know that if Syracuse beats OU this week that many of the WWE Syracuse grads will bask in my misery.
I cant believe Ken Shamrock got suspended for steroid use, now Lashley is fighting jason guida who has more losses than he does wins.. =/ when can they give lashley a real opponent?
Beats me but Lashley just needs to keep winning no matter the opponent as the only way Bobby is going to earn big money in MMA is to keep winning. Winning cures all ills. Ken made a really bad decision regarding the failed drug test that is almost too bizarre to believe as he knew he would be tested. Maybe subconsciously Kenny wants to stop fighting, which I would applaud, and he somewhat willingly failed the test.
Hey Jr a couple questions for ya. 1. Do you watch the NHL at all? If so who is your favourate athlete in the sport? 2. You ever get the chance to watch Canadian football? Over here in Canada it is just as big as the NFL is and just like most Americans on sunday our church is the Sofa and the priest is the Television. The only downside about the NFL in Canada is that during the superbowl the Canadian TV stations take over so we dont get your commercials. Thanks for the time Jesse Vancouver British Columbia
