RED HOT TAG

J.R.'s Latest Q&A

MattMcD Asks:

JR Question on ordering, I have engaged in conversations a couple times to buy a case of your jerky (48 bags), but it always breaks down when I ask what the case price is. I'm assuming it is in the $140-150 neighborhood. I am more then willing to contribute to your new hat fund, just need a price. Help me help you get that hat! Thanks, Matt

J.R.'s Answer:

Write the contact us page and tell us what it is you want and we will try and accommodate you as the right people will see it there as opposed to here. I'm sure that we can make you happy on a case price. Thanks.

Hey JR who Owns the Rights to USWA? Is it Jerry Lawler? or Jerry Jarrett? Both? Or does WWE own it? footage of that would be great for Classics on Demand!!!!!

J.R.'s Answer:

Good question...I don't really know for sure but I do know that King made nothing from the sale of footage of which some DVDs were produced. The USWA library is a figurative train wreck and I'm sure that WWE would buy it if someone could produce clear ownership documentation and the tapes in mint condition.

J.R.'s Answer:

The jerky site is non existent and I need to check on that one. Nonetheless this is the only website that we have but we do have a Facebook page and I Tweet. I'm still getting better but could be back at work in no time if called upon.

Hey JR! Hope that your recovery is going as good as it can be and that you can get back to doing what you love soon. I'm sure you get this all the time, but it's worth a shot. I aspired as a child and young adult to get into the business, but at 21 I was diagnosed with epilepsy and my dream of performing disappeared. I have since found my creative niche in photography and my goal is to shoot for WWE. How does the company as a whole view hiring people with disabilities? And how in the world does one get inside the business? It seems impossible from the outside looking in. Hope your back for Mania, and sad I won't be joining you in Arizona, as I've been ringside for the last three.

J.R.'s Answer:

The disability issue is a non issue as WWE has people on staff with disabilities and they all are able to do their jobs just fine. I suggest you contact WWE's Human Resources department for info on employment.  Best of luck.

Hi JR, I'm writing to you from Glasgow Scotland. I have friends who live in Norman and when I get the chance to visit them I always go to your Bar-B-Q. I always go home full and love visiting there and always hope you would pop in at some point. I miss your BAR-B-Q sauce so cant wait to come back over there and get me some to take home again. Last time I was there one of my friends went home with a sack full of your beef jerky. Anyways I look forward to coming back and cant wait to hear you back calling the WWE matches where you belong. God Bless Del Scotland

J.R.'s Answer:

I look forward to meeting you some day and I appreciate you stopping by our place. Perhaps your friends can ship you a "care package" some time in the future. Be well.

J.R, Just read where Dennis Condrey was hired in WWE's developmental program as a trainer I think it's great that these youngsters have the chance to learn from these legends I know speaking as a fan if I was in their shoes I'd soak up as much information as I could not everyday you get the chance to learn from a Ricky Steamboat,Dennis Condrey or Dusty Rhodes. Dan

J.R.'s Answer:

I think WWE made a good call in hiring Dennis Condrey as he was a helluva hand and understands the in ring stuff as good as anyone. Very sound, fundamental guy.

Which country do you see as the "next big market" that WWE has yet to "conquer"? China, India, Brazil?

J.R.'s Answer:

Any country that has an ever growing TV marketplace including cable and PPV.

Hi JR, Hope you are feeling well. Is it true in WWE that, the WWE and World Champion's fly first class as opposed to flying economy like the rest of the roster? Kind Regards John

J.R.'s Answer:

Many wrestlers fly first class and not just the WWE and World Champs.

Canadian Bulldog Asks:

Would you ever consider working for a different company like ROH or NXT? I think you could definitely add something to their product. I don't know if they are interesting in bringing you in, so im not acting as a middle-man here, just a concerned fan. BOOMER SOONER!

J.R.'s Answer:

NXT is owned by WWE which is who I work for now.  If I continue to stay in wrestling, why would I want to leave WWE?

WausPaus Asks:
