Since you've had some experience officiating football games, I'd love to know your thoughts on the interception call in the LSU-Alabama game Saturday. Didn't see the play but generally my opinion is that coaches should shut up and coach. The human element of officiating has always been a part of the game and the defiance the coaches often demonstrate hurts the game and sets a bad example for kids who watch. Urban can afford the 30K and if more coaches get fined or have to sit out a game they will use better judgment and sportsmanship and stop whining.
