Hey J.R my girlfriend and I have been big WWE fans all our lives and i wanted to know what the chances are of one day before or after the next show in the Pittsburgh area of me proposing to her in the ring? Is there someone i can contact regarding this idea? i know its a longshot but thanks for your time.
Certainly not my area of expertise but working with the arena market rep/PR person might be a start.
Hi JR, I heard the RAW GM comment also. In all seriousness, you were the Theo Epstein of Pro Wrestling. You brought the superstars in for one of the biggest wrestling booms ever. From 1995 to 2005 there were a large amount of top superstars who were all main event worthy in my opinion. When I look at guys in WWE and TNA that are right now main event guys, I see your influence. What did you look for when recruiting and hiring talent as VP for Talent Relations?
Charisma, athleticism, self starters, work ethic and character. 'It' is hard to find.
Hello J.R. I have been a long-time subscriber of WWE classics/24-7 and have already started petitioning my cable system to consider WWE Network when it starts broadcasting. One of my favorite features on Classics is the Legends of Wrestling roundtables. I grew up in the dying days of the territory system, and love hearing the old stories presented. I was wondering if you've heard of any plans to continue the series on the new network? And, is there a subject you personally would like to cover? Thanks for keeping us fans who are "growing old" able to remember those memories that have started fading!
I haven't heard of any difinitive plans for WWE Network programming nor when it will launch. I'd assume the Legends Roundtables will remain but that's not 100%.
Hey. Unless someone has hijacked or whatever my Twitter account, I know of no profanity I used. I do like my fun as I have tweeted JBL with humor and he replied, but nothing profane. I don't even use damn and hell as often as you and Stone Cold do. I might ask questions of you and other WWE Superstars that have been asked before, but I follow tweets and not found them, as well as your answers and blogs here. If I offended Scott Armstrong, Shawn Michaels, or Goldust it was not intended. Some say that Shawn just likes to answer stupid questions, that may be his excuse. Take Care!!!
I don't keep up with everyone on Twitter...too much volume. I don't recall blocking you either. Just be smart and enjoy the service.
Hey JR, I changed my picture on my Twitter account, as I can only guess that was what the beef was. When I asked you before why yourself and other WWE folks were blocking me or just ignoring me and my questions, your reply was to figure it out for myself. Well, mind reading is not my fortee so I am guessing. I'll ask you about jerky on Twitter again just to see if you still are blocking or ignoring me. Also, again, very glad you came out of the wreck as good as yoy did. Take care
Thanks..I don't block many on Twitter unless they are absolute, profane idiots.
JR, I don't know if this question has ever been asked. But after the toll their bodies took, when wrestlers leave & retire from competition, does the pain of the toll on their body last a long time? It would probably depend on how long they've been in the game & maybe even what matches they were in. When I ask the question, I'm talking about guys like Taker, Sting, Kane, HHH, HBK, Foley, etc. Yes I know some of these guys are still going. But they've been in the game a long time so made sense to include them.
I assume it would be like any other pro athlete whose body has endured their game. Not sure if the pain would ever totally go away.
Can you explain the rush you got when your music played and you came out to a loud ovation in front of 71,000 plus in the Georgia Dome at WrestleMania 27?
Indescribable. Thought my Wrestlemania days were over.
Hey JR i wanted to know if the rumor of RVD wwe return is real?
I'm not in that loop but I've heard nothing of the kind.
J.R, Been a while since I asked a question I was wondering the Kane/John Cena feud sort of reminds me of the one between Triple H and Austin in 2001 that set up Austin's ill-fated heel persona and was wondering with the rumors surrounding a turn for Cena could this be the same deal?. Dan
I have no inside info as to what the direction of this matter may be but Cena becoming a full fledged villain makes no sense to me.
I just wanted to write to you to wish a special Happy birthday to the best person ever to step foot into the WWE Good Ol' JR hope it's a good one Jim. Wishing you many more brithdays and i hope the best of health accompanies them. Happy Birthday !
Thanks...we got many Birthday wishes and each was appreciated. They came from all over the world and so many via Twitter @JRsBBQ.
