WWE › Hi JR,
I must ask you about your relationship with Paul Heyman.
I understand that you and him have never seen to eye to eye as evidence from your commentary with him in 2001 even though I thought you and him worked well together.
As I read in Power Slam magazine a couple of months ago, Heyman said that he said and did things to bring out the best in you and then you would rant and rave backstage at him and then would never say a word to him again.
What's the history behind it all?
Kind Regards

J.R.'s Answer:
Paul is a great story teller. I have ranted and raved at him without question as have most people who have ever worked with Paul on any level of the wrestling business. Me never saying another word to him isn't accurate. I enjoyed working with Paul and he's one of my favorite broadcast partners of all time. We never had the relationship backstage that many believe as we never always agreed on things but we both have respect for each other and appreciate each other's work. As I said, Paul can embellish with the best of us.
