JR. when you were the head of talent relations for the WWE did you ever have problems with a wrestler that got to wrapped up with what others were reporting about him or her?
Of course...wrestlers are not unlike any other high profile athlete or entertainer in that many of them are insecure and paranoid. The advent of the internet has just enhanced these issues.
Howdy J.R. I know its not really your department but have you heard any rumblings of the old tuesday night titans show being released on DVD? and is this something that you would enjoy watching?

Smackdown is great again with Taker being back. Also with Batista. Do you fell the same as I do? My friend sent me your BBQ sauce and jerky as a anniversary present in August.(21years married, I thought it was suppose to drag on. It went quick.) Amen on that young lady. We're very proud of our family developed products. I think most weeks that SD is the best wrestling show on TV thanks to the talents we have the priviledge of working with every week.
Hi. I just registered so this is my first time submitting a question. I'm a huge CM Punk fan. I have been watching his matches and his promos for years. But his mic work in WWE has been boring compared to his pre-WWE days. I think so anyway. I was just wondering do the writers really write the wrestlers lines? And if so do the wrestlers themselves get any input? I just think that if they just let him do what comes so natural to him that he would become a huge draw for the company.
I never heard any Punk promos pre-WWE days so I can't compare but I've enjoyed his mic work the past several weeks. Yes, the WWE wrestlers are actively produced but many of them have imput in their promos. If they don't then they aren't very bright.
Hi JR! We all know about the friendships between Shawn Michaels and Triple H, and Edge and Christian. But are there any backstage friendships between superstars that might be surprising to those of us on the outside?
Not that I'm aware of. The rosters all seem to coexist pretty well.
JR, Do you know if the upcoming Bragging Rights pay per view will still have the voting like Cyber Sunday? I really liked that concept. Thanks in advance, Chris
Don't know...I haven't inquired but I like the voting as well. Fans should be polled more often.
Greetings J.R, In WWE Magazine, there is a section where they show various items from Vince McMahon's "Vault". Items such as vintage banners, ring aprons and various other objects with history behind them. My Question is, How come there is no WWE Museum? It would be a real treat for any Wrestling Fan to have a place where they can go and see things that were used, worn by the superstars throughout history. Better then sitting in a warehouse. Museum...Hall of Fame...perhaps WWE will build one some day when it is financially feasible. I know nothing of McMahon's vault nor do I want to explore it.
Really love the site J.R. My question is what is the deal with the WWE not allowing the referees to be identified by name, the belts to be called belts (instead called championships), or the wrestlers to be called wrestlers? If you don't know what is your opinion on these things? Thanks a lot.
That's simply company policy within WWE. It doesn't matter what my opinion is because that's simply the way things are.
(The reason why I’m reposting the following question is because whether do to technical reasons or simple oversight it went unanswered the first time I sent it.) Hey JR, I hope everything and everyone in your life are all doing fine. The question I have for you deals with the WWE changing wrestlers’ stage names when they either enter the company and/or brought up to the main roster. While I completely understand the copyright reasons why they do this I would like to know why doesn’t the WWE do more of what they did with wrestlers like Tazz and Rhyno when they were apart of the promotion, which is (when possible) instead of giving wrestlers entirely new names simply change and copyright the spelling of the stage names they used before entering the company? For example if and when Low-Ki (Kaval in FCW) is brought up to the main roster the WWE could change and have him use either one of the following variations of his pre-WWE stage name, Low-Ky or Loi—Ki. alexl467
If I were in charge all the ring names would be owned by WWE forever. Low Ki is a good hand and is probably more interested in getting an opportunity to earn big money than what his name is or isn't going to be. Much to do about not much in my opinion. Unless someone has a nationally known rep what does it matter? Any company should own all the names that they can and that is feasible.
